Intended use
This device is used to convert acoustic signals into electrical ones. Any other use or
use under other operating conditions is considered to be improper and may result in
personal injury or property damage. No liability will be assumed for damages resulting from improper use.
Danger for children
Ensure that plastic bags, packaging, etc. are disposed of properly and are
not within reach of babies and young children. Choking hazard! Ensure
that children do not detach any small parts from the product. They could
swallow the pieces and choke! Never let children unattended use electrical devices.

Where to use the product

General handling
• To prevent damage, never use force when operating the switches and controls.
• Never immerse the appliance in water. Just wipe it with a clean dry cloth. Do not use
liquid cleaners such as benzene, thinners or ammable cleaning agents.
Keep foreign substances from the unit!
Keep the device away from containers with liquids. Should any liquid get into the unit,
this could lead to its destruction or re. Be sure not to let any metal objects into the unit.

Operating elements
Using the product
Analogue operation
1. Attach the microphone bracket via its 5/8" mount to a suitable tripod or similar.
2. Connect the XLR output of the microphone to the input of a mixer or similar
device using a suitable cable. Dynamic microphones like the MB 7 Beta USB do
not require phantom power. The device is immediately ready for use.
Digital operation
1. Attach the microphone bracket via its 5/8" mount to a suitable tripod or similar.
2. Connect the USB-C connector of the microphone to the USB port of a computer
(Windows® or Mac OS®). The computer will detect the device and automatically
install the required driver.
3. When using computers with the Windows® operating system, you can congure
the device as required via the Control Panel => Sound => Recording.
4. When using computers with the Mac OS® operating system, you can congure
the device as required via System Preferences => Sound => Input.
