Mic-Remote Operation
1. Install batteries
Open the Mic-Remote by gently pulling the top of the battery cover with a fingernail or small tool. Insert batteries (4 x AA not in­cluded) as shown in the illustration below and replace the battery cover.
Singing Machine Home automatically detects the Mic-Remote. Press down on the optical trackpad to pair. The LED will first turn red and then steady green to indicate successful pairing. An unpaired Mic-Remote will display a flashing green light.
2.Connecting the Mic-Remote
The Mic-Remote is used to navigate Singing Machine Play and to control volume. Turn off by pressing and holding down the optical trackpad for 4 seconds. The LED will turn steady red and will then go dark when the Mic-Remote is off.

Warranty
THE SINGING MACHINE COMPANY, INC. warrants this product to be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of one year from date of sale to the original consumer purchaser. Product will be repaired or replaced with a new or reconditioned product at no additional charge if it is proven to be defective within the one year period when said product is returned at customer expense within the warranty period. THIS WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER ANY EXPENSES INCURRED IN THE REMOVAL AND REINSTALLATION OF THIS PRODUCT.
This warranty does not apply to any product damaged by accident, misuse, abuse, improper line voltage, fire, water, lightning or other acts of God, or any parts or services furnished by anyone else. The warranty does not cover cartons, carrying cases, batteries, broken or damaged cabinets, or any items used in connection with the product or consequential damage due to defect in the product. This warranty does not cover products sold ASIS or Re-manufactured units or units sold outside the SMC distribution channel.
ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES ARE LIMITED TO THE DURATION OF THIS WARRANTY. THIS IS THE COMPLETE WARRANTY AND NO OTHER EXPRESSED WARRANTY IS VALID. SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW LIMITATIONS ON HOW LONG AN IMPLIED WARRANTY LASTS OR AN EXCLUSION OR LIMITATIONS OF INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTITAL DAMAGES, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATIONS OR EXCLUSIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights, which may vary from state to state.

BATTERY PRECAUTIONS
The precautions below should be followed when using batteries in this device:
1. Use only the size and type of batteries specified.
2. Be sure to follow the correct polarity when installing the batteries as indicated in the battery compartment. Reversed batteries may cause damage to the device.
3. Do not mix different types of batteries together (e.g. Alkaline and Carbon Zinc) or old batteries with fresh ones.
4. If the device is not to be used for a long period of time, remove the batteries to prevent damage or injury from possible battery leakage.
5. Do not try to recharge batteries not intended to be recharged, they can overheat and rupture (Follow battery manufacturer’s directions).
6. Rechargeable batteries are to be removed from the product before being charged.
7. Rechargeable batteries are only to be charged under adult supervision.
8. Exhausted batteries are to be removed from the product.
9. Battery shall not be exposed to excessive heat such as sunshine, fire or the like.
