operate the machine in a safe manner and to carry out reasonable care and main­tenance tasks on the product. The correct operation of the coffee machine requires
correct maintenance measures.

before starting up the machine to make using the product for the rst time easier.

DANGER indicates a high-risk hazard, which may lead to se­vere injury or death if it is not prevented.

WARNING indicates a medium-risk hazard, which may lead
to severe injury or death if it is not prevented.

CAUTION indicates a low-risk hazard, which may lead to
light or moderate injury if it is not prevented.

NOTE provides important information about caring for your
machine and useful operating tips.

Trained service staff

Trained service staff are employees trained and certied by Thermoplan who sell and

maintain Thermoplan products.

Trained operator staff

Trained operator staff are employees who were briefed and trained in the use of the
coffee machine (reading of the instruction manual) and who are able to operate the
machine and execute the maintenance steps described in this manual.

Customers and children

Customers and children are not considered trained operator staff and must be kept
away from the machine at all times unless the machine is a self-service model.

Dispensing machines

Dispensing machines are devices that can dispense coffee, milk and hot water prod­ucts, for example.
