Valued Thermadyne Service Provider
The intention of this Bulletin is just to inform you that the Logic PCB for the Cut Master 52 and the Cut Master 82 has been updated. The change involves a new location for gas pressure transducer that will not longer be part of the logic board.
This change will accomplish 2 things:
1. Now the transducer can be replaced individually (without having to replace the complete logic PCB) in case of failure.
2. The new transducer is a more durable component to better withstand the application. The specification and functionality of the machines remains the same but you will notice slight internal differences in
the new design:
* New Transducer (Mounted to the new regulator) * New Wire harness (From the transducer to the Logic PCB) * Different Logic PCB (Without the transducer) * Different Regulator (To accommodate the new tougher transducer)
In the event that you need to replace either the Logic PCB or the Regulator for units with REV AA or AB we have created the kit # 9-0201 that will include the parts above (as the new design is not reverse compatible)
This is not a product recall but just a confirmation of our continued commitment to improve the Thermal Dynamics Products every time we see an opportunity to do so.
Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions.
