Subject: Metal Dust Upgrade
Summary: Rev change on main board to AK
Valued Thermadyne Service Provider,
Thermal Dynamics has recently made an upgrade to the Cutmaster True series machine to improve their durability in
Industrial environments. This upgrade will improve the units performance in harsh environments that contain a high l evel
of metallic dust. Thermal Dynamics has taken this opportunity to improve the product for our customers free of charge.
The upgrade is being addressed in a Main PCB revision change to
owever, we are asking Service Partners to perform the following:

AK.
9 Inspect existing inventory of the effected PC Boards. All boards prior to “AK” should be returned for replacement.
9 Review all machines brought in for service and make sure the main board is not prior to a AK revision level. Upgrade
the main board as needed along with any other upgrade being performed on the unit, to insure the customer receives
the benefits of these upgrade.
Contact
a service person approximately 1.5 – 2 hours to remove the defective logic board and replace with the new one.
