PA60RLBG Backguard Installation

WARNING
Fingers or hands could get pinched when installing the backguard. Severe injury could result. Use extreme caution and wear thick protective gloves to avoid potential laceration to finger or hand while sliding the backguard down onto the range.
1. Remove the T-20 Torx stainless screws in the front face of the included Flush Island Trim.
WARNING
To reduce the risk of fire or injury to persons, check to make sure all packaging has been removed from accessory devices before use.
Tools Needed
T-20 Torx head screwdriver or drill
Protective Work Gloves
2. Remove the drill point screws securing the piece to the back panel. Lift up to fully remove.

3. Align the back panel of the new accessory with the flanges on the range side panels right and left rear corners. Make sure the backguard’s front face is outside the flange on the front side of the range.
4. Reinstall screws removed in Steps 1 and 2.
2. Remove the leg covers by sliding the top, outer sleeve of the leg covers off the extruded dimples of the base.
Installing the Toe Kick Panel
3. Remove protective plastic covering from the Toe Kick Panel.
4. Beneath the range, with the holes and flange facing up, wrap the Toe Kick Panel around the base.

Tools Needed
T-20 Torx head screwdriver or drill
Protective work gloves
Remove the Front Foot Cover Assemblies
1. Remove the (2) T-20 Torx head screws securing the foot cover assembly to the range base, as shown in the figure below. Repeat for the other front foot cover assembly.
5. The mating part has extruded dimples on both sides for which the holes of the Toe Kick Panel should seize. You should feel a definitive snap, letting you know that the part has been installed.
6. Mount the Toe Kick Panel on both sides of the unit into the extruded dimples using the (4) T-20 Torx drill point screws provided.
