Heating pads are intended for personal comfort, including temporary relief of minor
aches and pains.
This product is intended solely for non-commercial, non-industrial, personal use. Do
not use this product outdoors or for any other purpose

10. Never use pad without outer cover in place.
11. Do not use in an oxygen-enriched environment.
12. Do not use pins or other metallic means to fasten this pad in place.

WARNINGS & CAUTIONS
13. Do not sit on or crush pad – avoid sharp folds.
14. Position pad on top of, and not underneath, the body. Heat level may increase
when heat is trapped.
15. Never use pad with liniments, ointments or salves, especially those containing
heat-producing ingredients, as skin burns could result.
16. Never pull this pad by the supply cord.
17. Never unplug pad from electrical outlet with a wet hand.
18. If using an extension cord with this pad, the marked electrical rating of the cord
set/extension cord should be as great as electrical rating of the pad. Use this
pad only on a 120-volt ac electrical outlet. Unplug when not in use.
19. Do not use the cord as a handle.
20. Carefully examine the pad before each use. Discard the pad if it shows any sign
of deterioration.
21. Do not bend or pinch the cord and do not use this pad if it has a damaged
power cord or plug, if it malfunctions, has been dropped, or is damaged. This
pad has no user-serviceable parts. If for any reason this pad does not function
satisfactorily, see warranty for service information.
22. Do not tamper with this pad in any way.
23. Loop cord loosely when storing, tight wrapping may damage cord and internal
parts.
24. This product is intended solely for non-commercial, non-industrial, personal use

This heating pad has a polarized plug (one blade is wider
than the other) as a safety feature. This plug will t into a
polarized outlet only one way.
If the plug does not t fully into the outlet, reverse the plug.
If it still does not t, contact a qualied electrician. NEVER
ATTEMPT TO OVERRIDE THIS SAFETY FEATURE.

HOW TO USE YOUR HEATING PAD
Dry heat therapy—such as traditional electric heating pads or saunas—oers a
fast solution for therapeutic heat and is easy to use and apply.
Moist heat therapy—such as moist heat packs, hot baths, or steamed towels—
can help aid in the heat’s penetration into the muscles.
Doctors, physical therapists and sports trainers often recommend both methods as a
means for soothing muscles aches and pains. Consult with your physician if you have
questions regarding what type of therapy is best for your ailment.
ALWAYS USE THE INCLUDED CLOTH COVER WHILE OPERATING THIS HEATING PAD. FAILURE TO DO SO MAY RESULT IN SERIOUS INJURY INCLUDING
BURNS. Read the WARNINGS AND CAUTIONS section of this manual before use
and always use common sense care when operating any electrical device.
1. Insert the PVC pad fully into the cloth cover; the
cord and control should extend fully outside of the
cover.
2. Take care that the pad is at and not folded or
bunched within the cover.
3. The sponge pad is for use with Moist Heat therapy; if Moist Heat is desired, follow the Moist Heat
instructions on the next page.
4. Plug the product into a standard 120-volt AC electrical outlet.
5. Position the heating pad for desired treatment.
The pad should always be positioned on top
of—NOT UNDERNEATH—the treatment site as the
temperature can increase to uncomfortable levels
when the heat is trapped.
6. Use the controller to set the desired temperature
level and therapy time.
7. Press ON/OFF to turn the pad on. The time will
default to 2:00 hours, and the heating level will
default to 86°F .
8. Press MODE to toggle between the ‘temperature’
and ‘time’ setting function. Use the + / - buttons
to adjust to the desired time and temperature settings. Closely monitor your comfort level during use
and adjust the heat intensity level as needed.
9. The heating pad will automatically turn o after the
timer nishes. Always unplug the device when not
in use.

HOW TO USE YOUR HEATING PAD
MOIST HEAT OPTION
1. Saturate the SPONGE only with warm water. Do not
use any gels, solvents or other liquid to saturate the
sponge.
2. Lightly wring out excess water so that the sponge is
not dripping.
3. Place the sponge on the PVC pad and insert the both
pieces fully into the cloth cover; the cord and control
should extend fully outside of the cover.
4. Take care that the pad is at and not folded or
bunched within the cover.
5. Dry hands thoroughly and plug the product into a
standard 120-volt AC electrical outlet.
6. Position the heating pad for desired treatment. The pad should always be positioned on top of—NOT UNDERNEATH—the treatment site as the temperature
can increase to uncomfortable levels when the heat is trapped.
7. Use the controller to set the desired temperature level and therapy time.
8. Press ON/OFF to turn the pad on. The time will default to 2:00 hours, and the

CARE AND MAINTENANCE
DISCONNECT THE HEATING PAD FROM THE ELECTRICAL OUTLET AF
TER USE AND BEFORE CLEANING.
Remove the pad and sponge from the outer fabric cover before cleaning.
• VINYL PAD—The vinyl pad may be wiped down as needed but should not be
immersed in water
• OUTER FABRIC COVER—Machine or hand wash the outer fabric cover using
a mild detergent, a gentle/delicate cycle, with cool water only. To dry, hang the
outer cover or lay it at. Do not machine dry.
• MOIST HEAT SPONGE—Hand wash the sponge using a mild detergent and
cool water only; lay at to dry. Do not machine dry.
Store the pad, sponge, and outer cover in a cool, dry location after each use. Do not
reassemble the cover and pad until completely dry.
When storing, avoid sharply folding the pad as over time cracks may occur in the
vinyl.

When should a heating pad be used?
Heating pads as recommended by a health care professional can be used for heat
therapy or as desired for personal comfort.
How does heat therapy help?
Heat therapy enlarges the blood vessels of muscles, increasing the ow of oxygen
and nutrients to the muscles. This therapy helps relieve painful discomfort, decreases
muscle stiness and increases exibility.
Why did my heating pad stop working or cool down?
For safety purposes, the programable timer is limited to 2-hours of operation. .
What temperature does this product reach?
This heating pad has a temperature range of 86°F to 158°F (30°C - 70°C).
How much time does it take to warm up to full heat strength?
It will take approximately 15 minutes to reach the maximum heat level of 158°F.

3-YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY
The warrantor guarantees that its Deluxe Heating Pad will be free from manufacturing defects under normal use for a period of three-years. This warranty covers only
normal use, and does not apply to use in any clinical or commercial applications. This
warranty is voided if the unit is misused or abused in any manner.
If the Heating Pad fails to conform to this limited warranty, return the Heating Pad
postage prepaid to: Attn: Repair Department, 1175 Lakeside Drive, Gurnee,
IL, 60031. When returning a product, please also include: (i) a copy of your receipt,
bill of sale or other comparable proof of purchase; (ii) a written description of the
problem; and (iii) your name, address and telephone number. Carefully package the
product to avoid any damage that may occur while in transit; shipping insurance with
returned receipt is recommended. At our option, the warrantor will repair or replace
the unit found to be defective in materials or workmanship under normal consumer
usage. The purchaser will be notied of any additional repairs required prior to completing the repair, and will be responsible for parts charges, if any, and repair charges
not covered by this limited warranty.
EXCEPT AS PROVIDED FOR IN THIS LIMITED WARRANTY, ALL EXPRESS AND IMPLIED
WARRANTIES AND CONDITIONS ARE DISCLAIMED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION

ELECTRICIDAD/ENCHUFE POLARIZADO
Esta almohadilla eléctrica tiene un enchufe polarizado (una pata es

Terapia de calor seco—tal como las almohadillas eléctricas tradicionales o saunas—
ofrece una solución de calor terapéutico rápida que es fácil de usar y aplicar.
Terapia de calor húmedo—tal como las compresas húmedas calientes, baños
calientes o toallas húmedas calientes—puede ayudar para que el calor penetre en los

defectos de producción bajo uso normal por un período de tres-años. Esta garantía
cubre solamente uso normal, y no se aplica para utilizar en ningunas aplicaciones
clínicas o comerciales. Se anula esta garantía si la unidad se emplea mal o se abusa

Si el Pista de Calefacción Eléctrica no puede ajustarse a esta garantía limitada, vuelva
el franqueo del Pista de Calefacción Eléctrica pagado por adelantado a: Attn: Repair
Department, 1175 Lakeside Drive, Gurnee, IL, 60031. Cuando devuelva un producto, por favor incluya además: (i) una copia de su recibo, factura u otro comprobante
de compra; (ii) una descripción por escrito del problema; y (iii) su nombre, dirección y
número telefónico. Embale cuidadosamente el producto para evitar daños mientras
está en tránsito; se recomienda contratar un seguro de envío con acuse de recibo. Según
lo que elija, el warrantor reparará o reemplazará la unidad que se considere defectuosa
