1. Bevor Sie mit dem Gerät arbeiten

• Lesen Sie sich bitte die Bedienungsanleitung genau durch.

So werden Sie mit Ihrem neuen Gerät vertraut, lernen alle Funktionen und
Bestandteile kennen, erfahren wichtige Details für die Inbetriebnahme und den
Umgang mit dem Gerät und erhalten Tipps für den Störungsfall.

• Durch die Beachtung der Bedienungsanleitung vermeiden Sie auch Beschä­digungen des Gerätes und die Gefährdung Ihrer gesetzlichen Mängelrechte
durch Fehlgebrauch. Für Schäden, die aus Nichtbeachtung dieser Bedie­nungsanleitung verursacht werden, übernehmen wir keine Haftung.

• Ebenso haften wir nicht für inkorrekte Messwerte und Folgen, die sich aus
solchen ergeben können.

• Beachten Sie besonders die Sicherheitshinweise!

• Das Produkt ist ausschließlich für den oben beschriebenen Einsatzbereich geeignet.
Verwenden Sie das Produkt nicht anders, als in dieser Anleitung beschrieben wird.

• Das eigenmächtige Reparieren, Umbauen oder Verändern des Gerätes ist nicht
gestattet.



Verletzungsgefahr:

• Die Kofferwaage erst dann benutzen, wenn der Gurt richtig geschlossen ist.

• Bewahren Sie das Gerät und die Batterie außerhalb der Reichweite von Kindern auf.

• Batterien nicht ins Feuer werfen, kurzschließen, auseinander nehmen oder aufladen.
Explosionsgefahr!

• Batterien können bei Verschlucken lebensgefährlich sein. Wurde eine Batterie ver­schluckt, muss sofort medizinische Hilfe in Anspruch genommen werden.

• Batterien enthalten gesundheitsschädliche Säuren. Um ein Auslaufen der Batterien zu
vermeiden, sollten schwache Batterien möglichst schnell ausgetauscht werden.

• Beim Hantieren mit ausgelaufenen Batterien chemikalienbeständige Schutzhandschu­he und Schutzbrille tragen!



Wichtige Hinweise zur Produktsicherheit!

• Setzen Sie das Gerät keinen extremen Temperaturen, Vibrationen und Erschütterun­gen aus.

• Vor Feuchtigkeit schützen.

5. Bestandteile

A: UNIT Taste (g = Voreinstellung, oz, kg, lb)
B: ON/OFF Taste
C: Batteriefach

6. Inbetriebnahme

• Öffnen Sie das Batteriefach und entfernen Sie den Batterieunterbrechungsstreifen.

• Schließen Sie das Batteriefach wieder.

• Die Hintergrundbeleuchtung schaltet sich automatisch an.

• Alle Segmente erscheinen kurz im Display.

• Auf dem Display erscheinen 0 und g (Voreinstellung).

• Drücken Sie die UNIT Taste, um zwischen g, kg, lb und oz als Gewichtseinheit auszu­wählen.

• Das Gerät ist nun betriebsbereit.

• Um die Waage auszuschalten, halten Sie die ON/OFF Taste gedrückt.

• Bei Nichtbenutzung schaltet sich die Waage automatisch nach ca. 100 Sekunden aus.

7. Benutzung der Kofferwaage

• Öffnen Sie den Verschluss der Kofferwaage. Legen Sie den Gurt um den Tragegriff des
Koffers.

• Achten Sie darauf, dass der Gurt wieder richtig geschlossen ist.

• Drücken Sie die ON/OFF Taste.

• 0 und g oder die von Ihnen eingestellte Gewichtseinheit erscheinen im Display.

• Legen Sie die Kofferwaage in Ihre Hand und heben Sie den Koffer hoch.

• Der Wiegevorgang ist abgeschlossen, sobald HOLD im Display erscheint.

• Sie können nun den Koffer abstellen und das Gewicht 3 Sekunden lang im Display
ablesen.

• Drücken Sie die ON/OFF Taste, um das Gewicht zu löschen.

7.1 Tara/Zuwiegefunktion

• Sollten Sie einen Behälter zum Wiegen benutzen, wiegen Sie den leeren Behälter bitte
zuerst und drücken dann die ON/OFF Taste, um die Anzeige auf „0” zurückzustellen.

• Sie können nun den Gegenstand in den Behälter legen. Das Gewicht des Gegen­stands wird angezeigt.

• Der Wiegevorgang ist abgeschlossen, sobald HOLD im Display erscheint.

• Diesen Vorgang können Sie bei Bedarf wiederholen.

8. Pflege und Wartung

• Reinigen Sie das Gerät mit einem weichen, leicht feuchten Tuch. Keine Scheuer- oder
Lösungsmittel verwenden!

• Entfernen Sie die Batterie, wenn Sie das Gerät längere Zeit nicht verwenden.

• Bewahren Sie Ihr Gerät an einem trockenen Platz auf.

8.1 Batteriewechsel

• Sobald das Batteriesymbol im Display erscheint, wechseln Sie die Batterie.

9. Fehlerbeseitigung

Problem Lösung

Keine Anzeige ➜ Gerät einschalten

➜ Batterie polrichtig einlegen (+ Pol nach oben)
➜ Batterie wechseln

Unkorrekte Anzeige ➜ Batterie wechseln

Anzeige Err ➜ Das Gewicht ist zu hoch

Wenn Ihr Gerät trotz dieser Maßnahmen immer noch nicht funktioniert, wenden Sie sich
an den Händler, bei dem Sie das Produkt gekauft haben.

10. Entsorgung

Dieses Produkt wurde unter Verwendung hochwertiger Materialien und Bestandteile her­gestellt, die recycelt und wiederverwendet werden können.

Batterien und Akkus dürfen keinesfalls in den Hausmüll!
Als Verbraucher sind Sie gesetzlich verpflichtet, gebrauchte Batterien und
Akkus zur umweltgerechten Entsorgung beim Handel oder entsprechenden
Sammelstellen gemäß nationaler oder lokaler Bestimmungen abzugeben.

Die Bezeichnungen für enthaltene Schwermetalle sind:
Cd=Cadmium, Hg=Quecksilber, Pb=Blei

Dieses Gerät ist entsprechend der EU-Richtlinie über die Entsorgung von
Elektro- und Elektronik-Altgeräten (WEEE) gekennzeichnet.

Dieses Produkt darf nicht mit dem Hausmüll entsorgt werden. Der Nutzer
ist verpflichtet, das Altgerät zur umweltgerechten Entsorgung bei einer
ausgewiesenen Annahmestelle für die Entsorgung von Elektro- und Elek­tronikgeräten abzugeben.

Luggage scale 

1. Before you start using it

This information will help you to familiarise yourself with your new device, to
learn all of its functions and parts, to find out important details about its first
use and how to operate it, and to get advice in the event of faults.

• Following and respecting the instructions in your manual will prevent dam­age to your instrument and loss of your statutory rights arising from defects

Risk of injury:

• Start using the luggage scale only after the belt is closed correctly.

• Keep this instrument and the battery out of the reach of children.

• Batteries must not be thrown into a fire, short-circuited, taken apart or recharged. Risk
of explosion!

• Batteries can be fatal if swallowed. If a battery has been swallowed, get medical assis­tance immediately.

• Batteries contain harmful acids. Low batteries should be changed as soon as possible
to prevent damage caused by leaking.

• Wear chemical-resistant protective gloves and safety glasses when handling leaking
batteries.



Important information on product safety!

• Do not place your product near extreme temperatures, vibrations or shocks.

• Protect it from moisture.

6. Getting started

• Open the battery compartment and remove the battery insulation strip.

• Close the battery compartment again.

• The backlight will turn on automatically.

• All LCD segments will light up.

• 0 and g (default) appear on the display.

• Press the UNIT button and change between g, kg, lb and oz as the desired weight unit.

• The device is ready for use.

• To shut down the scale, press and hold the ON/OFF button.

• When the scale is not used, it will automatically switch off after approx.100 seconds.

7. Use of the luggage scale

•

Open the strap of the luggage scale. Simply attach the strap to the handle of your suitcase.

• Make sure that the strap is properly closed.

• Press the ON/OFF button.

• On the display appears 0 and g or the set weight unit.

• Put the luggage scale in your hand and lift the suitcase up.

• The weight measuring is finished, as soon as HOLD appears on the display.

• Put down the luggage and read the weight (display 3 seconds).

• Press the ON/OFF button to clear the weight.

7.1 Tare function

• If you use a container for measuring, weigh at first the empty container and then press
ON/OFF button to reset display to “0”.

• Now you can put the object in the container. The weight of the object appears on the
display.

• The weight measuring is finished, as soon as HOLD appears on the display.

• This process can be repeated if necessary.

8. Care and maintenance

• Clean the device with a soft damp cloth. Do not use solvents or scouring agents.

• Remove the battery if you do not use the device for a long period of time.

• Keep the device in a dry place.

8.1 Battery replacement

• Change the battery when the battery symbol appears on the display.

9. Troubleshooting

No display ➜ Switch on the device

➜ Ensure that the battery polarity is correct

(+pole above)

➜ Change the battery

Incorrect indication ➜ Change the battery

Display Err ➜ The weight is too high

If your device fails to work despite these measures contact the supplier from whom you
purchased it.

10. Waste disposal

This product has been manufactured using high-grade materials and components which
can be recycled and reused.

Never dispose of empty batteries and rechargeable batteries in household
waste. As a consumer, you are legally required to take them to your retail
store or to appropriate collection sites depending on national or local regu­lations in order to protect the environment.

The symbols for the heavy metals contained are:
Cd=cadmium, Hg=mercury, Pb=lead

This instrument is labeled in accordance with the EU Waste Electrical and
Electronic Equipment Directive (WEEE).

Please do not dispose of this instrument in household waste. The user is
obligated to take end-of-life devices to a designated collection point for the
disposal of electrical and electronic equipment, in order to ensure environ­mentally-compatible disposal.
