4.10 WING STOPS _____________________________________________________________
1. During normal operation, rotate the wing lift stops
towards center of tractor to the mow position. Wing
mowers will only lift to a cross cut position.
2. To transport, rotate wing lift stops away from center of
tractor. Wing mowers will lift to transport position.

4.11 DAILY MAINTENANCE______________________________________________________

1. Park the tractor on a flat and level surface. Fully
lower the cutting un its to the ground, engage par k in g
brake, stop the engine and remove the key fr om ign ition switch.
2. Grease and lubricate all points if required. To
prevent fires, wash the cutting unit s and tractor after
each use.
a. Do not use high pr essure spray.
b. Do not spray water directly at the instrument
panel, or any electrical components.
c. Do not spra y water into cooling air in take, or the
engine air intake.
Note:
Do not wash a hot or running engine. Use
compressed air to clean the engine and radiator fins.
3. Fill the tractors fuel tank at the end of each
operating day to within 1 in., (2 5 mm) below the fill er
neck.
Use clean fresh #2 diesel fuel. Minimum Cetane
Rating 45.
4. Handle fuel with care - it is highly flammable. Use
an approved contai ner, the spout must fit inside the
fuel filler neck. Avoid using cans and funnels to
transfer fuel.
a. Never remove the fuel c ap from the fu el tank, or
add fuel, when the engi ne is run ni ng or whi le th e
engine is hot.
b. Do not smoke when handling fuel. Never fill or
drain the tank indoors.
c. Never ov erfi ll or allow the tank to become empty.
Do not spill fuel. Clean any spilled fuel
immediately.
d. Never handle or store fuel containers near an
open flame or any device that may create sparks
and ignite the fuel or fuel vapors.
5. Store fuel according to local, state or federal
ordinances and recommendations from your fuel
supplier.
6. Inspect hydraulic hoses and tubes daily. Look for
wet hoses or oil spots and replace worn or
damaged hoses and tubes before operating the
machine.
7. Check the engine oil and hyd raulic oil at the star t of
each day, before starting the engine. If the oil level
is low, remove the oil filler cap and add oil as
required. Do not overfill.

WARNING
To preven t serious injury from hot, hig h pressure
oil, never use you r hands to check for oil leaks,
use paper or cardboard.
Hydraulic fluid escapi ng und er pres su re c an h ave
sufficient force to penetrate skin. If fluid is injected
into the skin, it must be s urgicall y remo ved within
a few hours by a doctor familiar with thi s form of
injury or gangrene may result.
