hope you enjoy your new heater and that it will serve you for many years
to come. W e encourage you to read and understand each step of the
set-up and safety operation instructions prior to working with this wok.

GENERAL SAFETY INFORMATION
• DO NOT expose the propane bulk tank to excessive heat.
• Always inspect the wok, bulk tank and connections for
damage, debris or dirt before attaching the wok to the bulk
tank.
• DO NOT use or operate if the wok burner or bulk tank is
damaged.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
WOK FRAME ASSEMBLY – ASSEMBLE OUTDOORS
Step 1 ....Unpack wok. Dispose of all packing material. Carefully compare
contents to Illustration 1.
Step 5 ....Screw large ring to the
top of the legs on support
ring as shown.
Step 6 ....From under the burner
support ring, insert screw
from burner into the hole
on the ring. and secure
from underneath.
• When storing or transporting wok, always disconnect the bulk
tank and store it in a cool, well ventilated location in an
upright position.
• Be sure connection to bulk tank is tightly secure (hand tighten
only) prior to each use.
• Never operate the wok near any flammable liquid or vapors.
Keep all flammable or combustible materials away from bulk
tank and flame.
• Discontinue operation of the wok and close valve if:
– ambient temperature drops below -10˚ F.
– there is no fuel remaining in the bulk tank
– combustion becomes unstable
– lighting cannot be performed quickly and easily
– you experience repeated flame outs
• Should blockage occur in the fuel jet do not attempt to clear

small frame ring as shown.
Step 7 ....This is how your burner
should look like once

Step 8 ....Screw regulator hose into
the burner. Hand tighten
only.

over legs and screw onto
the legs as shown.
CONNECTING THE BULK TANK
Step 1 ......Use only propane bulk tanks approved for use by the
United States Department of Transportation.

Step 2 ......Remove plastic protector cap from valve adapter connection
Step 3 ......Make sure that the regulator valve knob is turned off. Twist
in a clockwise direction.
Step 4 ......Be certain the POL adapter is undamaged rubber seal is
clean and undamaged.
Step 6 ......Screw POL adapter directly onto bulk tank fitting counter
clockwise. (hand tighten only)
Test the connection for leaking gas:
Step 7 ......Please check the connector for leaks using soapy water.
Apply soapy water to the connection area. Leaking gas will
produce bubbles. NEVER USE A FLAME.
Do you smell gas?
If yes, there is a leak.
Is the connection area extremely cold?
If so, there is a leak
DO NOT USE WOK IF IT IS LEAKING.
Step 8 ......When you are sure there are no leaks you may proceed to
lighting your wok.

• Do not attempt to light the appliance.
• Extinguish any open flame.
• Disconnect from fuel supply.
• If smell persists leave the area.
LIGHTING YOUR HEATER
Step 1 ......Open the valve to a low or medium setting. Twist in a count-
er clockwise direction.
Step 2 ......Place a flame source near burner until it ignites.
Step 3 ......If heater fails to light, turn off the valve. Allow any gas to
dissipate and repeat steps 1-3.
Step 4 ......If wok still does not light – contact Texsport Customer
Service at 800-231-1402 8AM – 5PM CST M on-Fri.
