description
The ’AHC373 devices are octal transparent
D-type latches designed for 2-V to 5.5-V V
operation.
When the latch-enable (LE) input is high, the
Q outputs follow the data (D) inputs. When LE is
low, the Q outputs are latched at the logic levels
of the D inputs.

state (high or low) or the high-impedance state. In
the high-impedance state, the outputs neither
load nor drive the bus lines significantly. The
high-impedance state and increased drive provide
the capability to drive bus lines without interface
or pullup components.
OE
does not affect the internal operations of the latches. Old data can be retained or new data can be entered
while the outputs are in the high-impedance state.

resistor; the minimum value of the resistor is determined by the current-sinking capability of the driver.
The SN54AHC373 is characterized for operation over the full military temperature range of –55°C to 125°C.
The SN74AHC373 is characterized for operation from –40°C to 85°C.

absolute maximum ratings over operating free-air temperature range (unless otherwise noted)
Stresses beyond those listed under “absolute maximum ratings” may cause permanent damage to the device. These are stress ratings only, and
functional operation of the device at these or any other conditions beyond those indicated under “recommended operating conditions” is not
implied. Exposure to absolute-maximum-rated conditions for extended periods may affect device reliability.
NOTES: 1. The input and output voltage ratings may be exceeded if the input and output current ratings are observed.
2. The package thermal impedance is calculated in accordance with JESD 51.
NOTE 3: All unused inputs of the device must be held at VCC or GND to ensure proper device operation. Refer to the TI application report,
