3. Before start

Fuel
TGP 40-35 is equipped with a 2
-stroke engine. This means that oil should NOT be supplied separately onto
the engine.
Mix unleaded fuel octane 95 and an approved 2-stroke oil.
The mix should be made according to the
instructions of the manufacturer. See the container of the oil.
Use TEXAS 2-stroke oil in a mix 1:50 ( 2%).
If you use an other brand of oil the mix should be 5% (always follow the instructions of the oil
manufac
turer).

Air filter
The air filter is placed to the left of the starter. Always make sure that it is clean and with no defects. Clean the
filter using mild soapy water. When it is dry moisten it with a few drops of engine oil.
If the pump is used in dus
ty surroundings the air filter shall often be cleaned and checked.
Always make sure that the filter and cover fit closely.

Primer
Never us the pump without it being moistured first, see chapter 6.
4. Start
8. Place the pump on an even, dry surface

ture the pump with water (see chapter 7)
Place the choke handle on (A) close by pressing the handle all the way up

Open for the fuel (B)

Turn the throttle a little (D)

Grab the recoil starter and pull until the engine starts

5. Stop
The pump is stopped by pressing the stop switch on the machine (C). Always turn off the fuel
supply when the
pump is not used.
