Initial set up
Unwind the 12VDC 200mA AC power pack lead fully and plug the power pack into a suitable electrical wall socket, 230-240V ~.
Plug the AC power pack DC output supply plug into the DC input socket on the rear of the transmitter.
Remove the cover and install two rechargeable batteries into the right headphone unit, taking note that only NiCd rechargeable batteries may be used and of the battery installation instruction details inside. Plug the short recharge lead from the transmitter into the headphone charge socket.
Switch the power ON at the wall and the Headphones to the OFF position while charging. Leave on charge for 24 hours before initial use to ensure batteries are at full charge. Red light will illuminate on transmitter when charging in process. When charging is complete, headphones are ready for use.
Use
Unplug the charger cable from the headphones.
Connect the transmitter audio input lead (long lead) into a suitable audio output jack (use one of the supplied adaptors if required). Ensure that the transmitter has an input signal from the music source, a green light on the transmitter will indicate that it is receiving signal and is transmitting.
Turn the headphones on and adjust the tune control until a clear signal is received, a green light on the transmitter will indicate that it is transmitting.
Adjust the volume on the headphones to suit.
When finished ensure that the headphones are turned off and plugged back into the charger lead of the transmitter to recharge the batteries before storing or reuse.
Interference
If you receive interference/static through the headphone set this can be eliminated by adjusting the transmitter frequency on the rear of the transmitter (frequency adjust) and re-tuning the headphone to the new frequency.
