• When the volume is set high, always keep a certain distance from the unit and never place your ear directly on the speaker.

Setup and connection
Unpacking
• Carefully open the box and lift out the speakers with the EPE foam parts without reaching into the diaphragms.
Setup notes
Note
Our website contains comprehensive notes for correct setup.
• The location of the subwoofer can be freely selected and does not inuence the other speakers. However, do not place it in the corner of the room as this may result in irregular frequency overloads. A location between the front speakers is often ideal.
• Select a stable, level base.
• Make sure that the speaker has a stable position to prevent vibrations.
• Make sure that the environment is clean and free from dust.
• Avoid placing the unit close to sources of heat or in direct sunlight.
• Do not place any heavy objects on the cables or the speakers.

Danger
Danger of injury/damage!
Arrange the cables so that they do not pose a trip hazard.
1. Disconnect the power plug of your Impaq receiver from the socket.
2. Run a speaker cable from your Impaq receiver to the subwoofer. Use a high-quality double wire speaker cable with marked strands for this. The cross-section should amount to at least 1.5 mm

3. The speaker connector terminals “Speakers” are located on the back side of your Impaq receiver. Connect the speaker cable to the subwoofer terminals here. See the operating instructions for the device for more information.
Make sure the polarity is correct!
Connect the terminals of the same colour or polarity each. Otherwise the sound quality will suffer.
A connecting panel with two terminals is located on the back side of the subwoofer. Connect the speaker cable there. The terminals are each marked red (+) and black (–).
