The NEW testo 175 / 177 data logger series
The testo 175 series consists of six compact data loggers, which
measure temperature, humidity, voltage and current. The testo
177 series consists of five instruments suitable for wide ranging
and especially long-term applications. All the loggers have a
display and immediately provide a quick overview of the current
reading, the last value saved, maximum and minimum value and
the number of times a limit has been exceeded. The testo 580
data collector, and the flexible testo 575 fast printer, each
suitable for all the data loggers, opens up a whole new scope of
possibilities for dealing with data collection.
testo 580 - the on-site data collector
The testo 580 is a unique data collector which allows stored data
to be transferred from the logger on-site without interrupting
operation. It can also stop and reprogram several loggers on-site.
The complete memory of the testo 177 data logger or 175 data
logger is transferred in seconds, (approx. 400 values per second)
via infrared interface. All values collected by the data collector
can later be downloaded to a PC and analyzed using the Windows
compatible Testo ComSoft 3 Software.
testo 575 - the fast on-site printer
The testo 575 prints up to six lines per second in table or graph
format. The stored data is transferred on-site via infrared without
interrupting operation and enables fast and convenient on-site
documentation without using a PC. Due to Testo’s development
of this revolutionary concept it is possible to program the logger
without a PC or notebook.

Safe memory storage
With the new testo 175 / 177 data logger series your secure in
the knowledge that vital data will never be lost or changed when
the battery is either spent or replaced. Using Testo’s Software,
battery life can be calculated over the course of several years and
consequently changed by the user in the field when necessary
without worrying about interruping data logging operation and
documentation.This is a real advantage for safe measurements in
any application.
Always reliable
All of the data loggers have a real-time clock (RTC).
The rugged ABS casing with non-skid/non-rigid surface
guarantees protection from moisture and mechanical strain.
Some of the loggers can even be submersed for short periods of
time. The loggers are also tamperproof when you use the wall
bracket and lock options.
NIST calibration certificates
In many industries, such as pharmaceuticals, using calibrated
and/or certified instruments is mandatory. Testo can calibrate all of
its loggers to the highest possible standards. Testo is recognized
worldwide for its combination of DKD calibration laboratories,
accredited to ISO 17025, for temperature, relative humidity, velocity
and pressure and ISO/NIST calibrations. These are a lower cost
alternative to DKD calibrations, and are accepted by many audits in
accordance with ISO 9001, HACCP, GMP, FDA, VDA 6.1,
ISO TS 16949 etc. See summary of certificates on page 14.

compatible software
Testo software, ComSoft 3 Basic and ComSoft 3 Professional, has all
the functions needed to operate your logger quickly and accurately.
The loggers can be started manually or pre-programmed to start
using date and time. The logger can be stopped in several ways:
when a certain number of measurements have been reached,
according to a pre-programmed date or time, when the memory is
full, manually via PC, or using either the testo 575 printer or the testo
580 data collector. The wraparound memory program enables
“continuous measurements” meaning the oldest values are written
over.
