4. Bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung

Das testo 103 ist ein Lebensmittel-Thermometer.
Das Produkt wurde für folgende Aufgaben / Bereiche konzipiert:

· Lebensmittelbereich: Produktion, Speisenausgabe, Stich­proben messung

· Messung von flüssigen, pastösen und halbfesten Medien

Folgende Komponenten des Produkts sind ent sprechend der
Verordnung (EG) 1935/2004 für den dauerhaften Kontakt mit
Lebensmitteln ausgelegt:
Die Tauch-/Einstechsonde von der Messspitze bis 1cm vor dem
Fühlerhandgriff bzw. dem Kunststoffgehäuse. Falls angegeben sind
dabei die Hinweise über Einstech tiefen in der Bedienungsanleitung
unter Punkt 7.2. oder die Markier ung(en) an der Tauch-/
Einstechsonde zu beachten.

In folgenden Bereichen darf das Produkt nicht eingesetzt werden:

· In explosionsgefährdeten Bereichen

· Für diagnostische Messungen im medizinischen Bereich

6. Inbetriebnahme

6.1 Einheit einstellen

1 Batteriefach (z. B. mit einer Münze)

öffnen.

2 Schalter mit einem spitzen Gegenstand

auf gewünschte Temperatureinheit
(°C/°F) umlegen.

3 Batteriefach schließen.

6.2 Batterien einlegen

1 Batteriefach (z. B. mit einer Münze)

öffnen.

2 Batterien (2 x Typ CR2032) einsetzen.

Polung beachten!

3 Batteriefach schließen.

7. Bedienung

Das Gerät schaltet sich auch bei aufgeklappter Tauch-/Einstech­sonde 60min nach Einschalten des Geräts automatisch aus.

7.1 Ein- / Ausschalten

Gerät einschalten: Tauch-/

Einstechsonde aufklappen.

Gerät ausschalten: Tauch-/

Einstechsonde zuklappen.

7.2 Messen

Erforderliche Eintauch- / Einstechtiefe für korrekte Mess­ergebnisse beachten: mindestens 23 mm.

Das Gehäuse darf maximal der Betriebstemperatur von -20 bis
+60°C ausgesetzt werden.

 Gerät ist eingeschaltet.

Tauch-/Einstechsonde in Messobjekt eintauchen / -stechen.

- Aktueller Messwert wird angezeigt.

8. Wartung und Pflege

8.1 Batterien wechseln

1 Batteriefach (z. B. mit einer Münze)

öffnen.

2 Batterien (2 x Typ CR2032) einsetzen.

Polung beachten!

3 Batteriefach schließen.

8.2 Gerät reinigen

Für die Reinigung nur schwache handelsübliche Neutral-/
Haushaltsreiniger (z.B. Spülmittel) verwenden. Keine scharfen
Reinigungs- oder Lösungsmittel verwenden!

Gehäuse und Sonde mit einem feuchten Tuch abwischen.
Zur Desinfektion das Gerät mit einem alkoholgetränkten Tuch

abwischen.

4. Intended purpose

The testo 103 is a food thermometer.
The product is designed for the following tasks/areas:

· Food sector: production, food service, spot check
measurement

· Measuring liquids, pastes and semi-solid materials

The following product components are designed for continuous
contact with foodstuffs in accordance with Regulation (EC)
1935/2004:
From the tip of the immersion/penetration probe up to 1 cm before
the probe handle or the plastic housing. If provided, the information
about penetration depths under point 7.2 in the instruction manual or
the mark(s) on the immersion/penetration probes should be noted.

The product may not be used in the following areas:

· Potentially explosive areas

· For diagnostic measurements in the medical sector

6. Initial Operation

6.1 Configuring the unit

1 Open the battery compartment

(e.g. using a coin).

2 Use a sharp instrument to move

the switch to the desired
temperature unit (°C/°F).

3 Close the battery compartment.

6.2 Inserting batteries

1 Open the battery compartment

(e.g. using a coin).

2 Insert batteries (2 x CR2032).

Observe the polarity!

3 Close the battery compartment.

7. Operation

The instrument switches off automatically 60 minutes after it has
been switched on even if the immersion/penetration probe is
open.

7.1 Switching On / Off

Switch on the instrument: open the

immersion/penetration probe.

Switch off the instrument: close the

immersion/penetration probe.

7.2 Measuring

Observe the required immersion / penetration depth for correct
readings: at least 23 mm.

The housing must only be subjected to operating temperature
between -20 and +60°C.

 Instrument is switched on.

Immerse / penetrate the probe into the object being measured.

- The current reading is shown.

8. Service and Maintenance

8.1 Changing the batteries

1 Open the battery compartment

(e.g. using a coin).

2 Insert batteries (2 x Type CR2032).

Observe the polarity!

3 Close the battery compartment.

8.2 Cleaning the instrument

Only use weak, commercially available neutral/household cleaning
agents (e.g. washing-up liquid) to clean the instrument. Do not
use any aggressive cleaning agents or solvents!

Wipe the housing and probe with a damp cloth.
To disinfect the instrument, wipe it with an alcohol-soaked

cloth.

A la fin de son cycle de vie, retourner directement l’appareil à

Testo afin d’assurer son recyclage dans le respect de
l’environnement.

4. Utilisation conforme

Le testo 103 est un thermomètre alimentaire.
Ce produit est destiné aux applications / secteurs suivants :

· Agroalimentaire : production, distribution de plats cuisinés,
mesure d’échantillons.

· Mesure de liquides, pâtes et matériaux semi-solides.

Les composants suivants du produit sont adaptés aux contacts
répétés avec des produits alimentaires et répondent à la
norme (CE) 1935/2004 :
Sonde d’immersion/pénétration de la pointe de mesure jusqu’
à 1 cm avant la poignée de la sonde ou au boîtier en plastique.
Si celles-ci sont indiquées, les informations relatives à la profondeur
de pénétration données au point 7.2 du le mode d’emploi ou la/
les marque(s) sur la sonde d’immersion/pénétration doivent être
respectées.

Ne pas utiliser l’appareil dans les environnements suivants :

· dans les zones à risques d’explosion

· pour les diagnostics médicaux

6.1 Réglage de l’unité

d’un objet pointu) sur l’unité de
température souhaitée (°C/°F).

3 Refermer le compartiment à piles.

2 Insérer les piles (2 x Typ CR2032).

7. Utilisation

L’appareil s’éteint automatiquement 60 min. après son allumage
lorsque la sonde d’immersion/pénétration est dépliée.

7.1 Touche On / Off

Allumer l’appareil : déplier la sonde

d’immersion/pénétration.

Eteindre l’appareil : Replier la sonde

d’immersion/pénétration.

7.2 Mesures

Pour obtenir des résultats de mesure corrects, respecter la
profondeur d’immersion / de pénétration : au moins 23 mm.

Le boîtier ne peut être soumis qu’à des températures de
service de -20 à +60°C max.

L’appareil est allumé.

Immerger / Visser la sonde dans l’objet à mesurer.

- La valeur de mesure s’affiche.

8. Service et maintenance

8.1 Remplacement des piles

1 Ouvrir le compartiment à piles (par ex.

avec une pièce de monnaie).

2 Insérer les piles (2 x Typ CR2032).

Attention à la polarité !

3 Refermer le compartiment à piles.

8.2 Nettoyage de l’appareil

Pour le nettoyage, utiliser uniquement des solutions lavantes
neutres /ménagères (par ex. du produit vaisselle) douces. Ne pas
utiliser de produits de nettoyage ou solvants corrosifs !

Essuyer le boîtier et la sonde au moyen d’un chiffon humide.
Pour le désinfecter, essuyer l’appareil au moyen d’un chiffon

imbibé d’alcool.

Utilizar el instrumento adecuadamente, de acuerdo a su

No almacenar junto con disolventes (p. ej. acetona).
El instrumento únicamente debe abrirse para su

mantenimiento y reparación si así se describe en el

manual de instrucciones.

Eliminación ecológica:

Depositar las pilas vacías en los puntos de recogida previstos

para tal fin.
Puede devolvernos el equipo cuando ya no quiera utilizarlo

más. Nosotros nos responsabilizamos de que su eliminación

no cause daños al medio ambiente.

Atención: su producto está marcado con este símbolo.

4. Uso predefinido

El testo 103 es un termómetro de alimentación.
El producto ha sido concebido para las siguientes tareas/áreas:

· Área de comestibles: Producción, salida de alimentos,
mediciones de muestreo

· Medición de líquidos, pastas y semi-sólidos

Los siguientes componentes del producto están diseñados para
el contacto continuo con alimentos de acuerdo a la norma (CE)
1935/2004:
La sonda de inmersión/penetración desde la punta de medición
hasta 1 cm antes de la empuñadura o de la caja del instrumento. Si
aparece indicado, debe tenerse en cuenta la información acerca de
las profundidades de penetración en el manual de instrucciones en el
punto 7.2 o las marcas en la sonda de inmersión/penetración.

El producto no debe ser empleado en las siguientes áreas:

· En áreas potencialmente explosivas

· Para mediciones de diagnóstico en el área médica

6. Funcionamiento inicial

6.1 Ajustar unidad

1 Abrir el compartimiento de la batería

(con una moneda, por ejemplo).

2 Ajustar el interruptor con un objeto

puntiagudo en la unidad de temperatura
deseada (°C/°F).

3 Cerrar el compartimiento de las pilas.

6.2 Colocar las pilas

1 Abrir el compartimiento de la batería

(con una moneda, por ejemplo).

2 Colocar pilas (2 pilas tipo CR2032).

Prestar atención +/-.

3 Cerrar el compartimiento de las pilas.

7. Funcionamiento

El instrumento se desconecta también automáticamente con
la sonda de inmersión/penetración abierta 60 min después de
conectar el instrumento.

7.1 Encender / Apagar

Encender el instrumento: Abrir la

sonda de inmersión/penetración.

Apagar el instrumento: Cerrar la

sonda de inmersión/penetración.

7.2 Midiendo

Para un correcto resultado de la medición observar la
profundidad de las sondas de inmersión / penetración:
al menos 23 mm.

La caja puede exponerse a una temperatura de servicio
máxima de -20 a +60°C.

 Instrumento encendido.

Sumergir / introducir la sonda de inmersión/penetración en el

objeto a medir.

- La lectura actual se visualiza.

8. Servicio y mantenimiento

8.1 Cambiar las pilas

1 Abrir el compartimiento de la batería

(con una moneda, por ejemplo).

2 Colocar pilas (2 pilas tipo CR2032).

Prestar atención +/-.

3 Cerrar el compartimiento de las pilas.

8.2 Limpiar el instrumento

Para la limpieza, utilizar solo limpiadores neutrales/domésticos
comunes suaves (p. ej. lavavajillas). No utilice limpiadores
agresivos o disolventes.

Limpiar la caja y la sonda con un paño húmedo.
Para desinfectar el instrumento, limpiarlo con un paño

impregnado en alcohol.

testo 103 è un termometro per alimenti.
Il prodotto è stato concepito per i seguenti lavori / settori:

· settore alimentare: produzione, fornitura di alimenti,
misurazione di campioni

· misurazione di sostanze liquide, pastose e semisolide

I seguenti componenti del prodotto sono adatti a un contatto continuo
con gli alimenti, in conformità con la normativa (CE) 1935/2004:
la sonda a immersione/di penetrazione dalla punta di misurazione
fino a 1 cm prima dell’impugnatura e della custodia in plastica. Se
presenti, prestare attenzione alle informazioni sulla profondità di
immersione presenti nel manuale di istruzioni al punto 7.2 o agli
appositi segni sulle sonde a immersione/di penetrazione.

Lo strumento non può essere adoperato nei seguenti settori:

· In zone a rischio di esplosione

· Per misurazioni diagnostiche in ambito medico

7.2 Misurazione

Per misurazioni corrette, osservare la corretta profondità di

Il corpo può essere esposto max. a una temperatura di
esercizio compresa tra -20 e +60°C.

 Lo strumento è acceso:

Immergere / far penetrare la sonda nell’oggetto da misurare.

- Viene visualizzato il valore attualmente misurato.

Vakkundig verwijderen

Lege batterijen bij de daarvoor bestemde inzamelpunten

afgeven.
Het instrument aan het einde van zijn gebruikstijd rechtstreeks

naar Testo sturen. Wij zorgen voor een milieuvriendelijke

verwijdering.

4. Doelmatig gebruik

De testo 103 is een voedselthermometer. Dit instrument is
ontwikkeld voor de volgende taken / toepassingen:

· Levensmiddelenbereik: productie, voedseluitgifte,
steekproefmetingen

· Meten van vloeibare, halfvaste en vaste middelen

De volgende componenten van het product zijn conform de
verordening (EG) 1935/2004 voor een betrouwbaar contact met
levensmiddelen ontwikkeld:
De dompel-/insteeksonde van de meetpunt bevindt zich tot 1 cm van
de voelerhandgreep resp. de kunststofbehuizing. Indien aangegeven
moeten hierbij de aanwijzingen over insteekdiepten in de handleiding
onder punt 7.2 of de markering(en) op de dompel-/insteeksonde
worden nageleefd.

Het instrument mag niet worden gebruikt:

· in explosiegevaarlijke gebieden

· voor diagnostische metingen in medische toepassingen

Os seguintes componentes dos produtos são concebidos para um
contacto contínuo com alimentos, de acordo com o Regulamento

Da ponta da sonda de imersão/penetração até 1 cm antes do punho
da sonda ou da carcaça de plástico. Se fornecida, a informação
sobre as profundidades de penetração no ponto 7.2 no manual de
instruções ou as marcas nas sondas de imersão/penetração devem
ser registadas.

O produto não pode ser utilizado nas seguintes áreas:

—огласно Норме (ЕЭ—) 1935/2004 следующие компоненты прибора
разработаны с уч¸том постоянного контакта с продуктами питания:
От наконечника погружного/проникающего зонда до 1 см до рукоятки или
пластикового корпуса. Если это предусмотрено, то в Пункте 7.2 настоящего –
уководства пользователя должны быть указаны сведения или отметки о глубине
погружения погружного/проникающего зонда.

6. Начало работы

6.1 Конфигурация прибора

1 Откройте батарейный отсек

(например, с помощью монеты).

2 — помощью острого инструмента переведите
переключатель в требуемое положение (°C/°F).

3 Закройте батарейный отсек.

6.2 Установка батарей

(например, с помощью монеты).

2 Установите батареи (2 x CR2032).

3 Закройте батарейный отсек.

7. –абота

Прибор отключается автоматически по прошествии 60 минут после
включения даже если погружной/проникающий зонд открыт.

7.1 Включение/Отключение

Включите измерительный прибор: откройте
погружной/проникающий зонд.

Отключите измерительный прибор: закройте
погружной/проникающий зонд.

7.2 Измерение

Для достоверности показаний соблюдайте глубину погружения
погружного/проникающего зонда: по меньшей мере, 23 мм.

Корпус рассчитан на работу при температуре исключительно в пределах

-20 è +60°C.

Включите прибор.

Погрузите/вставьте зонд в измеряемый объект.

- На дисплей будет выведено текущее показание.

8. —ервисное и техническое обслуживание

8.1 Замена батарей

1 Откройте батарейный отсек
(например, с помощью монеты).

2 Установите батареи (2 x тип CR2032).
—облюдайте полярность установки!

3 Закройте батарейный отсек.

8.2 Чистка прибора

Для чистки прибора используйте только имеющиеся в свободной продаже
нейтральные/бытовые чистящие средства (например, ополаскиватели). Не
используйте агрессивных чистящих средств или растворителей!

Протрите корпус и зонд влажной тканью.
Для дезинфекции протрите прибор смоченной спиртом тканью.

batteries at the collection points provided.

4. Intended purpose

The testo 103 is a food thermometer.
The product is designed for the following tasks/areas:

· Food sector: production, food service, spot check
measurement

· Measuring liquids, pastes and semi-solid materials

The following product components are designed for continuous
contact with foodstuffs in accordance with Regulation (EC)
1935/2004:
From the tip of the immersion/penetration probe up to 1 cm before
the probe handle or the plastic housing. If provided, the information
about penetration depths under point 7.2 in the instruction manual or
the mark(s) on the immersion/penetration probes should be noted.

The product may not be used in the following areas:

· Potentially explosive areas

· For diagnostic measurements in the medical sector

6. Initial Operation

6.1 Configuring the unit

1 Open the battery compartment

(e.g. using a coin).

2 Use a sharp instrument to move

the switch to the desired
temperature unit (°C/°F).

3 Close the battery compartment.

6.2 Inserting batteries

1 Open the battery compartment

(e.g. using a coin).

2 Insert batteries (2 x CR2032).

Observe the polarity!

3 Close the battery compartment.

7. Operation

The instrument switches off automatically 60 minutes after it has
been switched on even if the immersion/penetration probe is
open.

7.1 Switching On / Off

Switch on the instrument: open the

immersion/penetration probe.

Switch off the instrument: close the

immersion/penetration probe.

7.2 Measuring

Observe the required immersion / penetration depth for correct
readings: at least 23 mm.

The housing must only be subjected to operating temperature
between -20 and +60°C.

 Instrument is switched on.

Immerse / penetrate the probe into the object being measured.

- The current reading is shown.

8. Service and Maintenance

8.1 Changing the batteries

1 Open the battery compartment

(e.g. using a coin).

2 Insert batteries (2 x Type CR2032).

Observe the polarity!

3 Close the battery compartment.

8.2 Cleaning the instrument

Only use weak, commercially available neutral/household cleaning
agents (e.g. washing-up liquid) to clean the instrument. Do not
use any aggressive cleaning agents or solvents!

Wipe the housing and probe with a damp cloth.
To disinfect the instrument, wipe it with an alcohol-soaked

cloth.
