Before you start
Important: Retain these instructions for future reference.
Unwrap all packaging materials and place the components
on top of the carton box or on a clean oor to prevent it
from scratching.
This product should only be used on rm level ground.
Keep small parts out of reach of children.

Follow each assembly step in order to prevent incorrect
assembly.
Assemble on a clean soft surface to avoid damage.
Check the pack and make sure you have all the parts listed.
Ensure that this product is fully assembled as illustrated
before use.
Make sure all screws are fully tightened before use.
When you are ready to start, make sure that you have the
right tools, plenty of space and a clean, dry area for
assembly.
Tesco do not recommend the use of power tools to
construct this product.
Do not sit or stand on the product.
Do not overtighten screws or bolts.
Do not use this product if parts are missing, damaged or
worn.
Number of people required to assemble
One person to assemble the unit and two people to lift the
unit into position.

with the assembly of your product”.
My rst tip is: “Before you start get a cup of tea, sit down
and read through these instructions carefully”.

them to hand before you start.

Before securing the back it is necessary to square up
the unit. You can do this by measuring between
XX-XX and YY-YY ensuring these are the same
(DIAG 1). If they not (DIAG 2). Apply slight pressure
as indicated (DIAG 3) until they are the same.

Align backpanel so that there is an equal gap from
the edge of top, bottom and end panels.
Use the nail guide when locating the nails. this will
hold the nails vertical and ensure the correct distance
from the edge.

TWO PEOPLE WILL BE REQUIRED
TO LIFT UNIT UPRIGHT.
Once you have fixed the hanging rail in
place, unscrew the top screw in the hanging
bracket by 2 turns so that the screw slightly
protrudes to prevent the rail coming out.

You will need to support the
weight of the door during
this process. If the door is
close to the ground this can
be achieved by using blocks
or similar. Otherwise a second
person may be required to
assist.
Loosen, but do not remove the
top and bottom screws on all
hinge mounting plates.
Try to work on the hinges
one at a time. This will
prevent the weight of the
door pulling it out of
position.
This method can also be used to
straighten-up tilting or twisting
doors.
Try to work on the hinges one
at a time. Gradually adjusting
and checking to see what
changes each adjustment makes.
If you are nding the screw
dicult to turn it may help to
loosen the rear screw,
retightening after adjustments
are complete.

We recommend that this unit is xed to a suitable wall to prevent possible
overbalancing. We have included a xing bracket for this. No xing screws
are provided as they will need to suit the wall type, and the length of
screw will depend on the distance from the back of the unit to the
wall. Please ensure xings used are appropriate to your wall type. Locate the
bracket to the top panel or to the end panel as close to top as possible. We do
not specify exact location for the bracket,this is left to the customer’s discretion.
Please take care when drilling into the wall, avoiding any pipes and wires.
The use of residual current device (RCD) is recommended when
working with tools.If in doubt consult a qualied person.
