Wir freuen uns, dass auch Sie sich für ein Produkt aus dem Hause TERRATEC
entschieden haben! Lesen Sie bitte vor der Verwendung der Antenne die Anleitung
sorgfältig durch und heben Sie diese für spätere Zwecke auf.
Die Antenna 300 ist eine kompakte, aktive Zimmerantenne für den Empfang von DVB-T.
Dank der optimierten Reichweite empfängt die Antenne alle Signale rauscharm und
ohne Verzerrung in optimaler Qualität.
Die Antenne ist unempndlich gegenüber Störungen aus anderen Netzen. Dabei kann
sie für optimalen Empfang horizontal oder vertikal aufgestellt werden. Den benötigten
Strom erhält sie über USB (PC) oder optionalem Netzteil. Die Antenna 300 ist für alle
gängigen DVB-T-Lösungen verwendbar.

Installieren Sie zunächst Ihren DVB-T Empfänger bis zu dem Punkt, an dem die Antenne
angeschlossen wird. Verbinden Sie jetzt den Antennenausgang der Antenna 300 und
den Antenneneingang Ihres DVB-T Receivers. Hinweis: Eventuell muss die Antenne
zum Sender bzw. in ihrer Polarität (stehend bzw. liegend) ausgerichtet werden. Dies
hängt von den Empfangseigenschaften in ihrem Empfangsgebiet ab.

Zudem muss das USB Adapterkabel mit einem freien USB Port ihres PCs/ Notebooks/
Mac und dem Power-Anschluss der Antenne verbunden werden. Setzen Sie die Anten-
ne an einer Set-Top-Box ohne USB Anschluss ein, benötigen Sie zusätzlich ein Netzteil
(5 Volt / 40 mA). Dieses erhalten Sie im Zubehörhandel oder in unserem Webshop
(www.terratec.net).
Fahren Sie nun mit dem Sendersuchlauf Ihres DVB-T Receivers fort. Optimieren Sie
anschließend die Ausrichtung der Antenne, nutzen Sie dazu die Pegel- und Qualitäts-
anzeige des Empfängers (siehe Bedienungsanleitung des Geräteherstellers). Variieren
Sie die Ausrichtung der Antenne so, dass der Pegel auch für die anderen Empfangskanäle optimal ist.
Sollten keine oder nicht alle Sender gefunden werden überprüfen Sie alle Kabelverbindungen und variieren Sie gegebenenfalls die Ausrichtung und Positionierung der
Antenne. Danach starten Sie bitte einen neuen Sendersuchlauf.

Sicherheit
• Lesen Sie die Bedienungsanleitung sorgfältig durch und bewahren diese auf.
• Beachten Sie alle Warnhinweise und folgen den Anweisungen, um Beschädigungen
zu vermeiden.
• Verwenden Sie dieses Gerät nur im Innenbereich.
• Stellen Sie das Gerät bitte auf einen ebenen und trockenen Untergrund.
• Benutzen Sie das Gerät nicht in der Nähe von Wasser oder anderen Flüssigkeiten.
• Halten Sie das Gerät von direkter Sonneneinstrahlung, Heizkörpern, offenen Flammen
und anderen Wärmequellen fern.
• Wird das Gerät starken Temperaturschwankungen ausgesetzt, so lassen Sie es für
etwa eine Stunde stehen ohne es anzuschließen. Es könnte sich im Gerät Kondens-
feuchtigkeit gebildet haben, welche die Funktionalität beeinträchtigt.
• Reinigen Sie die Antenne nur mit einem trockenen oder höchstens leicht angefeuchteten, fusselfreien Tuch. Reinigungsmittel können die Oberäche des Gerätes in
Mitleidenschaft ziehen und sollten nicht verwendet werden.
• Kurz: Gehen Sie bitte „vernünftig“ mit dem Gerät um. Eine vorsätzliche oder selbst
verursachte Schädigung wird natürlich nicht von den Garantieleistungen abgedeckt.

Das Gerät darf nicht mit dem Hausmüll entsorgt werden. Dieses Gerät ist entsprechend der
europäischen Richtlinie 2002/96/EG über Elektro- und Elektronik-Altgeräte (waste electrical

We are pleased that you have chosen a product from TERRATEC! Please read the
instructions carefully before using the antenna and keep it for later use.
The Antenna 300 is a compact, active indoor antenna for DVB-T reception. Thanks
to its optimized range, the antenna receives all signals at exceptional quality with low
noise and no distortion. The antenna is insensitive to interference from other networks.
It can be positioned vertically or horizontally to achieve optimum reception. The power
can be supplied either through the USB (PC) or a additional power supply. At the same
time, the Antenna 300 can be used for all common DVB-T solutions.

First, install your DVB-T receiver to the point where the antenna is connected. Now con-
nect the antenna output of the antenna 300 to the antenna input on your DVB-T receiver.
Note: You may need to align the antenna to the transmitter or in its polarity (vertical or
horizontal). This depends on the reception characteristics in your reception area.

In addition, you need to connect the USB adapter cable to an available USB port of your
PC / Notebook / Mac. If you are using the antenna with a set-top box without usb connector, you need a additional power supply (5 V / 40 mA). This accessory is available in
your consumer electronics store or in our webshop (www.terratec.net).
Start a channel scan. Then start optimising the positioning of the aerial by using the
level- and quality display of the receiver (see the manufacturer manual for further informations). Try different positions with the antenna to adjust the device for the best
possible reception.
If no or not all channels are found, please check all cable connections and make any
necessary alignment and positioning of the antenna. Then start a new channel scan.

Safety
• Read through the operating manual carefully and keep it in a safe place.
• Observe all warnings and follow the instructions to avoid damage.
• Use this device indoors only.
• Place the device on a level, dry surface to prevent possible damage.
• Do not use the device close to water or other liquids.
• Keep the device away from direct sunlight, radiators, open ames and other sources
of heat.
• If the device has been exposed to extreme differences in temperature, allow it to
adjust to the room temperature for one hour before plugging it in. Condensation may
have formed inside the device, which impairs its functionality.
• Use a dry or slightly moistened, lint-free cloth to clean the antenna. Do not use
cleaning products as they may damage the nish of the unit.
• To put it simply, just use the device sensibly. The warranty does not cover deliberate
damage to the device, of course. Thank you.

The device may not be disposed of with household rubbish. This appliance is labelled in accordance with European Directive 2002/96/EG concerning used electrical and electronic appliances (waste electrical and electronic equipment – WEEE). The guideline determines the
framework for the return and recycling of used appliances as applicable throughout the EU.
