THE LF-UNIV REMOTE CONTROL TRANSMITTER MODULE
LF-UNIV’sminiature transmitter module easily attaches
to any remote control. It converts IR (Infrared) signals
emitted by your remote control into powerful radio signals which are then broadcast up to a distance of 150
feet (46 meters.)
Battery Installation: Open the cover by squeezing on
sides and separate. Insert the supplied battery, noting
proper polarity as indicated. Then close the cover.
Remote Control: Find the position in front of your
remote control that makes the LF-UNIV Indicator LED
flash when using your remote control. Attach the module
to your remote control using the supplied Velcro. There
should be no space between the module and the
remote control.

THE LF-UNIV INFRARED RECEIVER (BASE STATION)
You r Remote Control Extender receiver receives the radio
signals from the Leapfrog Transmitter module and converts
them back into the original infrared signals.
LF-UNIV Receiver Placement: Place the receiver
facing the components of your system. Extend the antenna.
Plug the 110V adapter into your household AC outlet
and insert the jack on the adapter into the receiver unit.
The LF-UNIV receiver will operate at any range from
3’ to 30’ from your components.
Your LF-UNIV Remote Control Extender is always “ON” -- ready to receive your every command!
Walls won’t stop the Remote Control Extender. You can use your remote control from almost anywhere!
Infrared Extension: The Extension can be used in situations where the Receiver
can not be placed in front of the component(s) it is controlling. This device
consists of an Infrared diode connected to a 8ft. extension wire and plug.

LIMITED WARRANTY
TERK TECHNOLOGIES CORP. (TERK) warrants this product against defects in materials and workmanship for one
year from the date of purchase. During this warranty period, this product will be repaired or replaced, at TERK’s
option, without charge.
Please read your instructions thoroughly and use this product only as directed. This warranty does not cover any
damage due to commercial use, accident, misuse, abuse or negligence. This warranty is valid only in the United
States of America.
Repair or replacement as provided under this warranty is the exclusive remedy of the consumer. TERK shall not be
liable for any incidental or consequential damages for breach of any expressed or implied warranty on this product,
except to the extent prohibited by applicable law. Any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular
purpose on this product is limited to the duration of this warranty.
