This document shows how to assemble Altera Cyclone V SoC dev. kit (C5SoC) and VEEK-MT2-C5SoC
Upgrade Kit into VEEK-MT2- C5SoC.
The assembly procedures and list of accessories required to complete the task are covered.

2. Disassemble Original C5SoC

Use a Phillips screwdriver to unload the four screws on the corners of C5SoC in anticlockwise direction.

They are not required for further use. Please put them away.

3. Assemble C5SoC

Install Item E(30mm M-F Standoff )x5 / Item C(5mm M-F Standoff)x2 / Item H(8mm Screw) x1 onto the
C5SoC with a hex socket wrench.

Please install the Item D(HSMC cable) with MTLC2 and make sure the connection is secured with Item
I(4mm Screw)x2 and Phillips screwdriver.

Install Item F(19mm M-F Standoff)x5＋Item J(M3 Thread Hex Nut )x5 / Item G(5mm F-F Standoff )x2＋
Item I(4mm Screw )x2 onto the C5SoC with a hex socket wrench and Phillips screwdriver

Connect C5SoC and MTLC2 via the other end of HSMC cable. The connection can be tightened with
Item I(4mm Screw)x2 using Phillips screwdriver.
After the assembly is complete, please place the C5SoC and MTLC2 bac-to-back, as shown below.

Place Item B(VEEK-MT2-C5SoC Acrylics) on top of the C5SoC according, as shown below.
Screw Item H(8mm Screw) x10 on top of Item E(30mm M-F Standoff), as shown below.
