Instal ling the SIM Card, microSD C ard*, and battery
Switch off your phone before installing or replacing the battery, SIM card or microSD card * (op tional a c cessory)
1. Rem ove the back c over
2. Hold the SIM card with the cut corner oriented as shown and
slide it into the card holder.

3. Hold your microSD card (*optional) with the meta l contacts
facing down and slide it in.
4. Insert the battery by al igning the gold c ontacts on the battery
with the gold co ntact s in the battery compar t ment. Gent ly push down on the battery until it clicks into plac e.

Charging the Battery
When you f i rst get your new phone you’ll need t o charge the battery.
1. Insert the charger lead carefully. Ensure that the plug is
inserted with the correct orientation. Do not force the connector into the charger jack.
2. Connect the charger to a standard AC wall out l et.
3. Disconnect the charger when the battery is fully charged.
How much charge have you got?
If the battery is low, there will be a pop-up message on the screen. As you charge your phone, the screen will t ell yo u the exact battery leve l each time you wake up your phone.
If the phone is on, you’ll see the charging icon / on the status bar.

Battery and Charging Tips
O nly use the A C charger and U SB lead supp lie d. Insert the
charger lead carefully.
Be careful to avoid tripping over or pulling on the lead whilst it
is plugged in.
Physical damage to the charging port is NOT c overe d by
warranty.
The phone can als o be charged by connecting it to a
comput er usi ng the USB lead supplied.
Avoid high temperatures and direct sunlight. The battery will
not charge above 45°C
Do not leave the battery in a discharged state. Charge the
battery promptly when flat.
Keep your handset cool. High temperatures degrade t he
battery more quickly.
Norm al char ge time is 3-4 hours. Do not leav e on charge for
more than 24hrs.
A f ter 2-3 ch arge/discharge cycles t he battery l ife will impr ove.
From then on use top up charging to recharge frequently and always charge promptly when flat.
When not usin g the phone for long periods charge to appr ox
40% and remove t he battery .
With poor network conditions (less than 2 bars) battery life is
reduced, turn off Bluetooth and Wi-Fi when not in use to extend battery life.

External Antenna Port
Your device provides an external RF antenna port for conn ec ting to approved devices. Using the external RF port can enhance your coverage and pro vide better qu ality service and higher data rates in marginal signal areas or when used in a car.
O nly use approved connec tor s suita ble for ZTE devices.
Alw ay s insert and remo ve the RF co nnecto r car efully .
Do not pull or t rip on the RF lead whilst it is plugged in.
Damage to the RF port will make your device unusable and is
not covered by the manufacturer’s warranty.

Powering On/Off
Make sure the SIM card and the battery are inserted.
Press and hold the Power Key to t urn on your phone.
To turn it off, press and hold the Power Key to open the
options menu. Touch Power off and then touch OK.
Setting Up for the First Time
When you f i rst power on your phone or after a factory reset (see
Settings > P ersonal > Backup and Reset
1. The default language is English (Australia) touch to change if
required or touch Start.

2. Select Sign in if you have a Google account or Get an
account to create a Google account or Not now to skip.
3. Review the Google location settin gs if requi red . Touch Next
to cont inue.
4. Enter your name which the phone uses to personalise some
apps and touch Next to continue.
5. Review the Google services if required. Touch Next to
continue.
6. Touch Finish to complete the setup.

Locking/Unlocking your phone
Your phone all ows you to quickly lock the screen and keys when not in use an d to turn the screen back on when you need it.
To lock the screen and keys: Press the Pow er Key to turn the screen off and lock the keys, NOTE: To save battery power, the phone automatically turns off
the screen af ter a certain period of time when you leave it id le. Review this setting at

Settings > Display > Sleep.
To unlock the phone :
1. Press the Pow er Key to turn the screen on.
2. Press and hold the unlock button to unlock the screen.

NOTE: If you have set an unlo c k pattern, PIN, face unlock, or password for your phone (see Settings>Personal > Security), you’ll need to draw the pattern or enter t he PIN/password to unlock your screen.

Using th e Touch Screen
Your phone’s touch screen lets you contr ol actions thro ugh a variety of touch gestures.
Touch
When you want to type using t he onscreen keyboard, select items, or press onscreen buttons, simply touch them with your finger.
Touch and Hold
To open the available options for an ite m (for example, a messag e or link in a Web pag e), touch an d hold t he item.
Swipe or Slide
To swipe or slide means to quickly drag your finger vertically or horizontally across the screen .
Drag
To drag, press and hold your finger with some pressure before you start to move your finge r. While dragging, do no t release your finger until you have reached the target position.
Pinch
In some apps (such as Maps , Browser, and Gallery), you can zoom in and out by placing two f ingers on the screen at once and pinching t hem together (to zoom out) or spread ing them apart (to zoom in).
Rotate the phone to change from portrait to landscape.

Getting to Know the Home Screen
The home screen is the star ting point for applications, functions, and menus. You can customize your hom e screen by adding application icons, short cut s, folders , widgets, and more. Swipe the screen lef t or right to dis play additional sc r eens.

Changing the System Language
1. Touch Home > Apps > Settings > Language & input >
Language.
2. Select your c hosen language.
Settin g the Date and Time
1. Touch Home > Apps > Settings > Date & time.
2. Clear the Automatic date & time and Automatic time zone
check boxes if you want to set the date, time and time zone yourself.
3. Set t he dat e, tim e, tim e zo ne, a nd dat e/t ime format.
Changing Ringtone and Notification Sounds
You can customise the ringtone for in co min g calls and the default notification sound.
1. Touch Home > Apps > Settings > Sound.
2. Tap on Phone ringtone or Default notification.
3. Scroll through the ringtone list and selec t the ringtone you
want to use.
4. Touch OK.

Set a unique Ringtone or Photo for a Contact
Firstly the Contact must be saved to the handset: Go to People > tap the contact > Options > Copy to
phone.
To set a unique Ringtone for a Contact
Select the phone copy of the Contact (indicated by the s miley face)> Options > Set ringtone.
To add a photo to your Contact
Select the phone copy of the Contact (indicated by the s miley face)> Opt i ons > Edit > tap on the smiley face to Take
photo or Choose photo from Gallery
Adjusting Volumes
1. Touch Home > Apps > Settings > Sound > Volumes.
2. Adjust the volume for music, video, games, and other media,
the ringtone and notification volume.
3. Touch OK to save.
TIP: You can adjust the media volume when a media applicati on is in use by pressing the Volume Keys. If no media applicati on is active, press the Volume K eys to adjust ringtone volume (or the earpiece volume during a call).

Enable Sile nt or Vi bra t e mode in the following ways:
Press and hold the Power Key and then touch to
enable silent mode, touch to enable vibrate mode , or touch to disable silent mode.
With no media application running pressing the volume keys
will control the Ring vo lume. When the i con appears in the status bar, the phone is set to the vi
brate mode. When the icon appears in the status bar, the phone is in the silent mode.
Touch Home > Apps > Settings > Sound > Silent mode,
and touch Off, Vibrate or Mute.
Applying New Wallpapers
You can change the Home Screen wallpaper:
1. Touch Home > Options > Wallpaper.
2. Choose from Download Wallpapers, Gallery, Li ve Wallpapers, or Wallpapers and select the image or animation t o use.
3. If using a Gallery image then us e the on screen box to select the cropping area of the pictur e.
4. Touch DONE at the top of the screen (for Gallery images) or Set wallpaper for other images.

Changing Screen Bright ness
1. Touch Home > Apps > Settings > Display > Brightness.
2. Tick the Automatic brightness box to make the phone adjust the screen brightness automatically, or clear the tick box to adjust the bright ness manually.
3. Tou ch OK.
Protect Your Phone With S creen Locks
You can protect your phone by creating a screen lock. T he phone supports face recognition, pattern, a numeric PIN or password to unlock the screen and keys.
1. Touch Home > Apps > Settings > Security.
2. Touch Screen lock.
3. Select fr om Lo n g Press, Fa ce Unlo ck, Pattern, PIN or
Password.
If you touch Pattern, you’re guided to create a pattern you
must draw to unlock the screen. The first time you do this, a short tutorial about creating an unlock pattern appears. Then you’re prompted to draw and redraw your own pattern.
If you touc h PIN or Password, you’re prompted t o set a
numeric PIN or a password you must e nter to unlock your screen.
If you select Fac e Unlock you are guided through the face
recognition applic ation to lock and unlock your handset.

The next time you turn on your phone or wake up the screen use your unloc k p att e r n, face , PIN or password to unlock it.
IMPORTANT: Scre en lock opti ons are list ed in the approximate order of the strength of their security , starting with None and Long Press, which provide no security. Pattern provides minimal security, although it can be more co nvenient than the stronger options.
If you forget your unlock pattern, PIN or password you have to hard reset your device. From the locked screen, touch Emergency call, enter the code *983 *987 # and follow the instructions. All data on the hand set (not the SD card) is eras ed.
Protecting Your Phone With Encryption
You can encrypt all the data on your phone: Google Accounts, application da ta, music and other me dia, downloaded information, and so on. After encryption is appli ed you need to enter a numeric PIN or password each time you power on your ph one.
WARNING! Encryption is irreversible. The only way to revert to an unencrypted phone is to perform a factory data res et, which erases all your data.
Encryption prov ides additional protection in case your phone is stolen, and may be required or recom mended in some organisations. C onsult your system administrator b ef ore turning it on. In many cases the PIN or password you set for encryption is controlled by the system administrator.

Before turning on encryption, prepare as follows:
1. Set a lock screen PIN or password.
2. Connect your phone to the charger.
3. Schedule an hour or more for the encrypt ion process: you
must not interrupt it or you will lose some or all of your data.
When you're ready to procee d:
4. Touch Home > Apps > Settings > Security > Encrypt
phone.
5. Read the instructions en cryption carefully.
The Encrypt phone button is not avai lable if the battery is not sufficiently charged or your phone is n ot plugged in.
If you are unsure about proceeding then touch the Bac k Key. WARNING! If you interrupt the encryption process, you will lose
data.
6. Touch Encrypt phone.
7. Enter your lock screen PIN or pass word and touch
Next.
8. Touch Encrypt phone again.
The encryption process s tarts and displays its progress. Encryption can take an hour or more, during w hich time your phone may re start sever a l times.
When encryption is complete, you are prompted to enter your PIN or password.
Subsequently, you must enter your PIN or password each time you power o n your phone, to decrypt it.

Monitoring the Phone Status
The status bar at the top of the home screen provides phone an d service status information on the right side. You can monitor the phone status by checking the following status icons.

Managing Notifications
Notification Icons
The status bar at the top of the home screen provi des notificati on alerts on the left. You can view the following notification icons .

View the Notifications Panel
Notifications report the arrival of new messages, calendar eve nts , and ala rms , as well as o ngoi n g ev ents , suc h as when you 've c onfigu red your phone as a W i-Fi hotspot. Swipe your fi nger d own from the t op of the screen to view notifications.
To open the notification panel, swipe your finger down f rom
the top of the screen.
TIP: In the notif ication panel, touch at the t op of the
scree n as a shortcu t to th e syst em Settings menu.
To close the notification panel, swipe your finger up from the
bottom of the screen or touch the Back Ke y.
Respond to or Remove a Notification
In the notification pa nel, y ou can re s pond to a notificati on or remove the notifications.
To respond to a notification, just to uch it.
To r emove a notifica tion, swipe it sideways .
To r emove all notifications, touch in the top right corner .
Most apps that s end notifications, suc h as Gmail and Google
Talk, have notification settings that you can adjust.

Managing Shortcuts and Widgets
Add Shortcuts and Widgets
1. Touch Home > > S elect t he Widgets tab at the top of
the screen.
2. Swipe right to view all available widgets
3. Touch and hol d a widget or shortcut and drag it to your
ch osen Home Screen.
Move Shortcuts or Widgets
1. Touch and ho ld a widget or shortcut on the screen.
2. Drag it to your chosen location.
Remove Shor tcuts or Widgets
1. Touch and hol d a widget or shortcut on the Hom e Screen.
2. Dra g it to to remove it.
Adjust Widget Size
1. Touch and ho ld a widget on the Home Sc reen and then
release it.
2. An outline appears on the widget . Drag the outline to resize
the widget .
NOTE: Not all widgets can be resized.

Rearranging the Favou rites Tray
The Home Screen includes a customisabl e favourit es tray visible from all extended Home Screens. You can drag apps, shortcuts, folders, and other priori ty it ems in or out of the favourites tray for instant access from any Home Screen.
To remove items from the favourites tray:
Touch and hold an i tem in the favourites tray and drag it out of the tray.
To add items to the favourites tray:
Touch a nd hol d a n item and drag it onto the favourites tray. If t he favourites t ray is f ull, y ou nee d t o remove an item in t he
tray.
Entering Text
The onscreen k eyboard will pop up whenev er you need to enter text. Just tap in any t ext entry box to open the keyboard. Some apps open it automatically. Touch the Back Key to hide the onscreen keyboard if required.
Go to Settings > Language & input > Default to change the default keyboard if require d.

Android Keyboard
The Android Keyboard provides a layout similar to a desktop computer keyboard . Turn the phone sidew ay s and the keyboar d will change from portrait to landscape. The lands ca pe k eybo ard is not s up po rted in all applications.
Touch the alphabet keys to enter letters. Touch and hold
specific keys to en ter asso ciated a ccente d letter s or numbe rs. For example, to enter È, touch and hold then slide to
ch oose È.
Lower case is indicated by . Touch once to change to
upper case . Double-tap for caps-lock .
Touch to delete the text before the cursor.

Touch to select numbers and symb ols. You can then
touch to find more. Also, often used symbols are displayed on top of t he keyboard.
Touch and hold and then swipe to choose emoticons.
Touch to use Google’s networked voice input.
Touch and hold to change the input languages or set up
the Android keyboard.
TouchPal Keyboard
TouchPal keyboard offers three layouts: Full QWERTY, 12-Key PhonePad and CooTek T+. You can swipe left or right on the
TouchPa l keyboard to switch the l ay out. You c an als o use Touc hP a l Curv e
TM
to speed up text input b y replacing the key tapping motion of input with a tracing gesture where you move your finger from letter to letter without l ifting the finger until you reach the end of the word.
To switch the keyboard layout:
1. Go to Apps > Settings > Language & input >
(TouchPal Ke yboard) > Keyboard layout.
2. Tick the Swipe layout c heck box.
3. In the TouchPal keyboard s creen, to uch and clear the
Curve box, and then touch Close.
4. Swipe left or right on the TouchPal keyboard to select from
Full QWERTY, 12-Key PhonePad or CooTek T+ layouts.

Full QWERTY Keyboard
Touch the alphabet keys to enter letters.
Touch to use upperc ase or lowercase. The key changes
to indicate lowercase , uppercase , and caps lock .
Slide right on to enable word prediction. Slide left to
disable word prediction.
Touch to change input language.
Touch to enter digits, symbols, emoti cons and other
pre-defined texts. Tou ch to find more. Touch / to l ock or unloc k t he inputting. Touch to go back to enter
letters.
Touch to start a new line.
Touch or hol d to delete text bef ore the cursor.
Touch to access the quick settings of TouchPal

Touch to set the TouchPal keyboard.
Touch to open text editing option s. You can selec t , cut ,
copy, paste, and delete t ext, or move t he cursor.
Touch to use voice input.
Touch to hide the onscreen keyboard. You can touch the
text field again to show the keyboard.
12-Key PhonePad
Touch a key repeat edly until the desired letter or symbol
appears. If word predict ion is enabled ( ), just touch the keys once and choose the right word.

CooTek T+
Touc h t o ente r the le f t letter on the key; Double-tap or flick
right to enter the right letter/symbol on the key. If word prediction is enab led ( ), just touch the keys and choose
the right word.
To enable and use Touc hP al Cur ve:
1. In the TouchPal keyboard s creen, to uch and tick the
Curve check box, and then touch Close.
2. Move your finger from letter to let ter on the keyboar d to
tr ace a word.
3. Lift your finger at the end of th e word. A space is added
automatically when you begin to t r ace the next word.

NOTE: TouchPal Curve is only av ailable in the Full QWERTY layout.
Touch Input Settings
Choose the to uch input settings by touching the > System settings > Language & input from t he Home Scr een.
In the KE Y BO A R D & I NP U T ME T HO D S section, y ou can set the default i nput m ethod and s et tings.
Editing Text
M ov e the i nsert ion point: Touch where you want to type.
The cursor blinks in the new position, and a tab appears below it. Drag the tab to move the cursor.
Select text: To uch an d hold or double-tap within the text.

selection. Drag the tabs to change the sele c tion.
Cut, copy, paste: Select the text you want to manipulate.
Then touch the Cut , Copy , or Paste button:
Opening and Switching apps
1. Touch Home Key > t o ope n the Apps
2. Slide left or right on t he screen and touch an app to open it.
Switch Between Recently Opened Apps
When you run an application, if you press the Home key and start another app, the original app is still open in the background.
1. Press and ho ld the Ho me Key to view the recently used apps.
2. Scroll up and down and touch the required app to return to it.
3. Tip: Go to Apps > Task Manager to close an y unwanted
apps, or remember to use the Bac k key to step back thro ugh th e app to close it .

Connect to Networks and Devices
Your device is pr e-configured to connect to your c ar rier’s net work. Do not change any network settings unless instructed to by your carrier.
1. Touch Home > Apps > Settings > More > Mobile
networks > Network operators.
2. Touch Search networks to search for all available
networks.
3. Touch a net work in the network list to register manually.
You can also touch Select automatically to select preferred network automatically.
Control Mobile Da ta Use
To enable or disa ble data access :
1. Touch Home > Apps > Settings > More > Mobile
networks.
2. Tick the Data enabl ed check box to enable data access
over the mobile netw ork. Clear the check box to disable data acc ess.
To enable dat a ser vi ces when roaming:
1. Touch Home > Apps > Settings > More > Mobile
networks.
2. Tick the Data roaming check box. IMPORTANT: Data roaming may incur significant charges.

Use 2G Network Only to Save Power
1. Touch Home > Apps > Settings > More > Mobile
networks.
2. Tick the Use only 2G networks check box to save battery
power, data services will be limited.
Set Access Point Names
APN settings control Internet and M MS ac ce ss and are pre-set for your carrier. If you want t o add a new APN, please con tac t your service provider to get the required in formation.
1. Touch Home > Apps > Settings > More > Mobile
networks > Access Point Nam es.
2. Touch > New APN.
3. Configure as specified by your service provider.
4. Touch > Save to complete.
TIPS: To rest ore yo ur or iginal APN s et tings touch > Reset to default.
Connect ing to a local Wi-Fi network
1. Touch Home > Apps > Settings > Wi-Fi.
2. Slide the Wi-Fi switch to the ON position to turn on Wi-Fi. The detected Wi-Fi network s are displayed with their names and
security status. Previously connected networks will connect automatically.
Touch a network name to connect to it.

NOTE: If the network is secured, you nee d to enter a pass word.
Get Notified of Open Networks
1. Touch Home > Apps > Settings > Wi-Fi.
2. Slide the Wi-Fi sw i tch to the ON position.
3. Touch Options > Advanced > Tick the Network
notification ch ec k box.
When Wi-Fi is on, you receiv e notifications in the Status bar when your pho ne detects an open W i-Fi network. Clear the check box to turn off notifications .
Add a Wi-Fi Network
You can add a Wi-Fi network manually if the network does not broadc as t its name (S SID), or to a dd a W i -Fi network when you are out of r ange.
To connect to a s ecured network, you f irst need to get the security details from the network's administrator.
1. Touch Home > Apps > Settings > Wi-Fi.
2. Slide the Wi-Fi switch to the ON position.
3. Touch ADD NETWORK.
4. Ente r the network SS ID (name) . If ne cessary, e nter secu r ity
or other network configurat ion detai ls.
5. Touch Save.

Forget a Wi-Fi Network
To delete a Wi-Fi network that you no longer use or if you don’t want to connec t t o it automatically:
1. Touch Home > Apps > Settings > Wi-Fi.
2. Slide the Wi-Fi switch to the ON position.
3. Touch the Wi-Fi network name and then touch Forget.
Using Wi-Fi Direct
Wi-Fi Direc t allows Wi-Fi devices to c onnect to each other without the need for wireless acce s s points (hotspo t s) .
NOTE: Activating this feature will disconnect your current Wi-Fi network connection.
Connect to a Wi-Fi Direct Device
1. Touch Home > Apps > Settings > More.
2. Tick the Wi-Fi direct check box to tu rn on Wi-Fi direct.
3. Your phone will search for other dev ices enabled wit h Wi-Fi
direct connections. Tou ch Wi-Fi direct set ti ngs to see all av ailable devices .
4. Tou ch a device n ame to begin t he connection process.
NOTE: The target device must also have Wi-Fi Direct service activated and running before it can be detected by your phone.
5. Touch Connect.
The othe r device will r eceive a Wi-Fi Direct connection prompt and need to accept the request for connection.

Connecting to Bluetooth Devices
Bluetooth® is a short-range wireless communication technology. Phones or other devices with Bluetooth capabili ties ca n ex chan ge information wirelessly within a distance of about 10 meters. The Bluetooth devices must be paired before the communication is performed.
Turning Blu etooth On/Off
1. Touch Home > Apps > Settings > Bluetooth.
2. Slide the Bluetooth switch to the ON or OFF position. When Bluetooth is on, the icon will appear i n t he Status ba r.
Making Your Phone Visible
In order to work with other phones or devices that have Blueto ot h, you need to make your phone ‘visible’ to them.
1. Touch Home > Apps > Settings > Bluetooth.
2. Slide the Bluetooth switch to the ON position.
3. Touch your device name on the top of the screen to make
your phone v isible or invisible.

Share Your Mobile Data Connectio n via USB
You can access the Internet on your co mputer via the USB tethering feature of your device . The feature need s data connection on a mobile network and will result in data charges.

Enable the Wi-Fi hotspot feature to share your network data with other devices via Wi-Fi.
NOTE: When the Wi-Fi hotspot feature is enabled, you cannot access the internet via Wi-Fi. You remain connected to the Internet via your mobile data network .

Connecting to Virtual Private Networks
Virtual private ne tworks (VPNs) allow you t o c onnec t to the resources in side a s ecure d local network. VPNs are comm only deployed by corporations, schools, and other institutions to let people ac cess loca l network resources when not in the office, or when connected to a wireless network.
Depending on t he type of VPN you are us ing, you may be required to ent er your login credent ials or install securi t y certificates before you can connect to your VPN. You can get this information from your network administrator.
Lock screen PIN or Pass words must be set before configuring th e VPN function.
Add a VPN
1. Touch Home > Apps > Settings > More > VPN.
2. Touch Add VPN network and fill in the infor m atio n
provided by your network administrator.
3. Touch Save - The VPN is added to the list on the VPN
screen.

To respond to an inc omi ng call whi le you’re on a call:
Drag over to answ er the call. (This puts the first caller on hold and answers the second call.)

Set Up a Conference Call
With this feature, you can talk to two people at the same time.
1. On the dialer screen, enter a numbe r and tou ch .
2. Once you have established the connection, touch and
dial the second number. (The first call is put on hold)
3. When you’re connected to the second party, touch . If the other party hangs up, you and the remaining caller stay
connected. If you initiated the call and hang up, all callers are disconnected.
To end the conference call, touch .
Adjusting Your Call Settings
Use Fixed Dialling Numbers
Fixed Dialling Numbers (FDN) allows you to restrict outgoing ca lls to a limited set of ph one numbers . This f eatu re requires carrier support and the PIN2 code.

Join Contacts
Your phone can synchronise multiple ac count s containing your contact information (such as Google, Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync, Facebook and Twitter). When you synchronise contacts each account adds a separate entry in t he Contacts list.

Set Up the First Email Account

address and passw ord and then tou ch Next. NOTE: Your device will connect to the Interne t and verify
incoming and outgoing server settings before proceeding to the next step. If the email service p rovid er is not reco gnis ed you need to enter the inco min g and outg oing server settings. Please contact your email service provider for more information or go to Play Store and download your email provider’s application.
2. Set the email checking frequency, download options, account
name and other settings. Touch Next when you finish.
Your phone will show the inbox of the email account and star t to download email messages.
TIP: To add more email accounts, open Email to get the Inbox screen. Then touch the Options > Account settings and touch ADD ACCOUNT at the top right of the screen.

Your device can auto matically check for new emails at the interval you set when setting up th e account.

You can reply to or forward a message that you re cei ve. You can also delete messages and manage them in other ways.
Rely to or Forward an Email

Mark an Email as Unread
You can return a read email to the unread state—for example, to remind yourself to read it again later. You can also mark a batch of emails as unr ead.

Calendar

Touch in the Home Screen and select Talk. The first time you launch Talk, touch the account you want to sign in with. Your fri ends l is t is then displayed.

Switch Between Active Chats
If you have more than one chat going, you can s witch between chats in one of the following ways.

1. Touch in the Home Screen and select Maps.

3. Enter a start and end point and select the mode of
transportation (ca r, public transit, or walking). If you have enabled My Loca tion, thi s will appear in the start point field by default.
4. Touch GET DIRECTIONS. The directions to your destination
are marked on the map. Touch the left or right arrow to see the direction step by step. You can also touch DIRECTIONS

You can take photos and recor d videos. Photos and videos are stored to the phone’s memory card or the phone’s internal storage. You can copy them to your computer or access them in the Gallery app.
Capturing a Photo
1. Touc h from the H ome Sc reen and s elect Camera.
2. Aim the camera at the scene and make any necessary
adjustment.
3. Touch the blue button , or press the Volume Up or
Volume Down Key to take the picture.

2. Switch to Video mode by touching the camera / video icon

Working With Pictures
Touch a picture to v ie w full screen. Double-tap to zoom in or use two fingers to ‘pinch’ zoom in and out. Slide left or right to view other pictures in the album.
