(MTM400A, IPM400A, QAM400A, and RFM300):
HTest Parameters describes the tests performed by the DTV Monitors; it also
describes the associated parameters. This section provides the following
cross-referenced information:
HThe Standards Tests section (page 1−3) identifies the tests and event
identities associated with each of the DTV standards; some additional
categories are also included.
HEvent Identity to Test Name (page 1−49); includes a brief description of
the test, the applicable standards and the associated parameters.
HTest Name to Event Identity (page 1−155) is a cross-reference between
Test Names and Event identities.
HThe Parameter Reference subsection (page 1−181) lists all available
parameters.
HEvent SNMP Traps tables (page 1−237) lists the SNMP (Simple
Network Management Protocol) traps available for each event.

Test Parameters
Test Parameters
Each error state displayed on the user interface is the result of making one or
more measurements or tests on the incoming transport stream. The displayed
tests are derived from the DVB and ATSC standards. Additional proprietary tests
are also included.
Some measurements and tests translate directly to an error state; others are the
result of a combination of tests. For many of the tests, you can affect the result
by varying parameters that influence the test result, for example, maximum and
minimum bit rate values.
This section provides the following cross-referenced information:
HThe Standards Tests section (page 1−3) identifies the tests and event
identities associated with each of the DTV standards; some additional
categories are also included.
HEvent Identity to Test Name (page 1−49) includes a brief description of the
test, the applicable standards and the associated parameters.
HTest Name to Event Identity (Table 1−1, page 1−155) is a cross-reference
between Test Names and Event identities.
HThe Parameter Reference subsection (page 1−181) lists all available
NOTE. Event identities referred to in this section are relevant to all Tektronix
MPEG monitoring products.
