WARRANTY SUMMARY

Tektronix warrants that the products that it manufactures and sells will be free from defects
in materials and workmanship for a period of three (3) months from the date of shipment
from an authorized Tektronix distributor. If a product or CRT proves defective within the
respective period, Tektronix will provide repair or replacement as described in the
complete warranty statement.

your nearest Tektronix sales and service office.

HCTDS32 Transit Case

The HCTDS32 is a ruggedized transit case specifically designed to
provide travel and storage protection for TDS3000 and TDS200
series oscilloscopes. The case protects instruments from shock,
vibration and moisture, and provides room for associated accessories,
such as probes, adapters, and manuals.

Other features include an air pressure equalization control valve for
use during air transport and security rings for use with locks (locks
not included).

The HCTDS32 consists of a heavy duty outer shell and an inner layer
of foam. The TDS3000 or TDS200 is placed in an AC3000 or AC200
series soft case and inserted into the foam cavity. The AC3000 or
AC200 soft case is a required component of this system, and must be
purchased separately.

T o use the HCTDS32, refer to the illustrations and do the following:

1. Open the case by unsnapping the four latches.

2. If you are transporting or storing a TDS3000 series instrument,

remove the light-gray foam insert. (The foam insert is used with
TDS200 series oscilloscopes only.)

3. Place the oscilloscope in the AC3000 or AC200 series soft case.

4. Place the AC3000 or AC200 in the HCTDS32 transit case.

5. Close the case and snap the four latches closed.

6. T o secure the case, fasten a lock through the security rings.

7. If the instrument is to be transported via aircraft, open the air

pressure control valve to allow for pressure equalization.
