Description
The Model CS-1592-2 is a 2-pin female (plug housing) termination block that plugs into the OUTPUT connector on
the Model 2651A High Power System SourceMeterInstrument or into an INPUT connector on the Model 8010
High Power Device Test Fixture. It also connects to the Model CS-1626-2, which is a 2-pin (male receptacle)
housing termination block. The Model CS-1592-2 and CS-1626-2 termination blocks are supplied with the Model
2651A.

There are multiple applications for the Model CS-1592-2; three example applications are described below.
Use this termination block to connect the Model 2651A directly to a device under test (DUT):
1. Connect the DUT to the Model CS-1592-2 termination block using insulated cable wires (12 gauge or
thicker).
2. Twist the cable wire pair together to minimize inductance.
3. Plug the termination block into the OUTPUT connector on the Model 2651A.
Use this termination block to build a custom cable and use the cable to connect the Model 2651A to the
Model 8010 High Power Device Test Fixture:
1. Connect two Model CS-1592-2 termination blocks together using appropriate lengths of insulated cable
wire (12 gauge or thicker).
2. Twist the cable to minimize inductance.
3. Plug the termination blocks into the Model 2651A and test fixture.

Use two Model CS-1592-2 termination blocks and one Model CS-1626-2 termination block to connect the
Model 2651A to the Model 8011 High Current Test Socket Kit:
1. Build a cable that is terminated with two Model CS-1592-2 termination blocks using appropriate lengths of
insulated cable wire (12 gauge or thicker). Twist the cable to minimize inductance.
2. Plug one end of the custom-built cable into the OUTPUT connector on the Model 2651A.
3. Use unterminated banana plug cables (such as the Model CA-567) to connect the Model CS-1626-2
termination block to the Model 8011 test socket board. Twist the cables together to minimize inductance.
4. Finally, connect the two cable assemblies together by plugging the Model CS-1592-2 termination block into
the Model CS-1626-2 termination block.
