Description

The Model 8605 High Performance Modular Test Lead Set consists of two high voltage test probes and
matching test leads with fixed safety banana plug ends with removable test probes.

These test leads should only be used by qualified personnel who recognize shock hazards
and are familiar with the safety precautions required to avoid possible injury.

Do not exceed the maximum signal levels of the accessory or the attached instrument, as
defined in the electrical characteristics (specifications) and opera ting information.

Inspect the probes, lead insulation, and insulating sheaths for wear, cracks, or breaks before
each use.

For maximum safety, never touch or change the leads or power connections when power is
applied to the circuit under test.

Always turn off test system power and dischar g e all capacitors before connecting o r
disconnecting the leads.

To prevent exposed voltages or shorting between connections, ensure both ends of the
cables are properly connected before ap p lying power.
