80C00 Series Option 01: Extinction Ratio Calibration
(Addendum To 80C00 Series User Manual)
Option 01 adds Calibrated Extinction Ratio measurement capability to optical
sampling modules. This calibration is done in addition to the standard product
calibration.
80C00 Series modules with the Calibrated Extinction Ratio option installed
are identified by the label “OPTION 01” attached to the outside of the module
housing.
When the module is inserted into a DSA8200 or TDS/CSA8000 Series mainframe,
the oscilloscope automatically detects the presence of this option and activates
