Kelvin Standard Triaxial Connector Card
Description
The Model 8020-STC Kelvin Standard Triaxial Connector Card provides standard triaxial connections for sense
and force connections on the Model 8020 High Power Interface Panel. Use this connector card to connect to a
device under test using standard triaxial connectors. This connector card can be installed in the following Model
8020 channels:
• 200 V channels 1 through 3
• Common LO/SLO

You can use the following Keithley Instruments cables to connect to this card:
• Model 7078-TRX-*
• Model 4200-TRX-*
Installing the Model 8020-TLV protective cover
The Model 8020-STC is supplied with the Model 8020-TLV protective cover. To ensure safety in systems that
also use a Model 2657A on another device terminal, you must install the Model 8020-TLV after connecting the
triaxial cable to the Model 8020-STC connector card. Refer to the Model 8020 High Power Interface Panel
User's Manual for connector card installation instructions.
Once you have the card installed and the Model 8020 top cover is reattached and secured, you will have to
connect the triaxial cables to the connectors. Note that the Model 8020-STC card has two screw holes that are
used for the Model 8020-TLV protective cover.

Next, you will have to attach the Model 8020-TLV protective cover. Slide the cover over the triaxial cables and
insert the screws. Make sure that the screws are tightened to the Model 8020-STC connector card.

• Voltage: 240 V maximum
• Connector current, fuse installed: 1.5 A maximum, 10 A pulsed, 1 ms at 2.2 percent duty cycle
• Connector current, fuse removed: 1 ADC, no pulsing
• Connector types: 3-lug triaxial
