Description
The Model 8010-317 is a set of socket insulating plugs (10 pieces per card). Each socket insulating plug breaks
away from the card for quick and easy use.

These insulating plugs are included with the Models 8010 High Power Device Test Fixture and Model 8011 High
Current Test Socket Kit. The insulating plugs can be used when testing 2-terminal devices.
The 3-pin socket of the Models 8010-DTB and 8010-DTB-220 test boards inherently short the force and sense pins
together. When you are using the axial terminal posts in 4-wire mode, this can cause measurement errors. You
should insert the insulating plug into the 3-pin socket when testing axial-lead devices in 4-wire sense mode.
Otherwise, a short between force and sense will cause measurement errors.
Do not use the insulating plug when testing higher resistance devices (greater than 1 MΩ). Using the plug for these
tests may cause leakage measurement errors.
