Description
The Model 7078-TRX-BNC (CS-633) is a three-slot triaxial to socket BNC adapter. It can be used to connect
BNC cables to equipment with three-lug triaxial socket connectors.

To maintain maximum insulation resistance, keep the connectors free of contaminants (such as dirt
or oil). If the connections become contaminated, clean them thoroughly with methanol. Allow them to
dry completely before use.

To prevent electric shock, do not float inner shield more than 30 V above earth ground.
Failure to do so may result in equipment damage, personal injury, or even death due to
electric shock.
The case of the adapter is connected to the inner shiel d o f the triaxial connector. When used
w
ith an electrometer or other instrument, input LO or guard voltage will be present on the
case of the adapter and any attached BNC connectors.
