4500-ILK-PLUG Interlock Defeat Connector

Introduction
The document contains information on the 4500-ILK-PLUG Interlock Defeat Connector. This connector is designed to
over-ride (defeat) the interlocks for all four channels of the following 4500 cards:
• 4510-QIVC
• 4511-QIVC
WARNING Use caution when defeating the interlock on a QIVC card to avoid possible
personal injury or shock. Be sure that any exposed wires or leads are protected
when operating a QIVC card with the interlock defeated.
Connections
Table 1 summarizes the internal connections for the Interlock defeat plug.
To use the 4500-ILK-PLUG, plug it into the 4500-ILK-* Interlock Cable with the power off. Refer to Section 2 of the relevant QIVC card manual for details on using the card interlock and additional interlock connection diagrams.
