Use proper power cord. Use only the power cord

specified for this product and certified for the
country of use.

Ground the product. This product is grounded

through the grounding conductor of the power
cord. To avoid electric shock, the grounding
conductor must be connected to earth ground.
Before making connections to the input or output
terminals of the product, ensure that the product is
properly grounded.

Observe all terminal ratings. To avoid fire or shock

hazard, observe all ratings and markings on the
product. Consult the product manual for further
ratings information before making connections to
the product.

Do not operate with suspected failures. If you

suspect there is damage to this product, have it
inspected by qualified service personnel.

Do not operate in wet/damp conditions.
Do not operate in an explosive atmosphere.
Keep product surfaces clean and dry.

Product Description

This power supply kit adapts the Tektronix SD-44
optical-to-electrical converter and ORR24 optical
reference receiver for stand-alone operation. The
power supply converts 100, 120, and 230 VAC
power into the proper DC voltages required by
these plug-in modules. A special cord adapts the
connector on the output of the power supply to the
connector on the back of the plug-in module.

NOTE. This kit provides power only and does

not provide any other signal connections.

included with the power supply.

Figure 1 shows the power supply and standard
accessories. To order replacement parts or
accessories, contact your local Tektronix

Installation

1. Connect the plug-in module, adapter, and
power supply together before connecting the
power supply to the AC power source.

2. Connect the power supply to the AC power
source with the appropriate power cord. The
light on the plug-in module indicates that the
unit is receiving power.

3. Connect the signal input and signal output
cables to the plug-in module and proceed with
normal operation.
