PRACTIVAL TIPS
To stop the appliance, quickly press the Reverse position of the button. After use, it is advisable to clean the appliance quickly to accumulation of dried food on the accessories . To make cleaning easier, you can first rinse it by pouring a glass of water through the feed tube during operation.
The appliance cuts out automatically after 20 minutes. Leave the appliance to cool down for a few minutes before you use it again.
Choose fresh fruits and vegetables. Wash them thoroughly. For maximum juice extraction, leave the appliance to run for a few more seconds after the ingredients have been juiced.
• Most fruits and vegetables do not need to be peeled or seeded, except for those with thick skins (lemons, pineapples, etc.) or large stones (peaches, apricots, mangoe, etc.) and pineapple cores.
Never place solid ingredients in your juicer (ice cubes, sugar cubes), or fibrous foods or meat.
• Inserting hard ingredients can block the appliance. If this happens, use the Reverse function for a few seconds.
If it stays blocked:
- Open the cover (B), clean the juicing screw (C) and the filter (D) and then
re-assemble
- Cut the ingredients into smaller pieces.
For recipes with ingredients of different textures, it is essential to stick to a juicing order for optimal operation:
1st: non-fibrous fruits (note, make sure the core is removed from
pineapples before juicing)
2nd: non-fibrous vegetables
3rd: fibrous fruit and vegetables and herbs (e.g. celery, rhubarb, parsley,
basil)
The filter and the screw must be cleaned after fibrous fruits and vegetables and herbs have been juiced.
