SAFETY RECOMMENDATIONS
Read the instructions carefully before using your appliance .
This product has been designed for domestic use only. Any commercial use, inappropriate use or failure to comply with the instructions,the manufacturer accepts no responsibility and the guarantee will not apply.
• Do not leave the appliance within reach of children without supervision. Young children or disabled persons must always be supervised when using this appliance.
• Before plugging in the appliance, check that the voltage shown on the appliance matches your electrical system's voltage, and check that the wall socket is earthed.
The warranty will be deemed void in the event of an electrical connection error.
• Your appliance is intended solely for domestic, indoor use.
• Unplug the appliance as soon as you have finished using it and when you clean it.
• Do not use the appliance if it is not working properly or if it has been damaged.Instead, contact an approved service centre.
• All maintenance other than normal cleaning and care by the customer should be entrusted to an approved service centre.
• Do not use the appliance if the power cord or the plug are damaged. To avoid danger, always have the power cord replaced by an approved service centre.
• Never place the appliance, power cord or plug in water or any other liquid.
• Do not allow the power cord to hang down within reach of children.
• Never allow the power cord to come into contact or proximity with the hot parts of the appliance, heat sources or sharp edges.
• For your safety, only use genuine accessories and replacement parts designed for your appliance.
• Never unplug the appliance by pulling on the power cord.
• Never heat the jug on a cooker hob of any type. Never put the jug in the oven.
• Do not add water to the appliance while it is still hot.
• Always keep the lid (a) closed while the coffee maker is operating.
• All appliances are subject to stringent quality control procedures . These include "actual use" tests on randomly-selected appliances (accounting for any signs of use).
On models supplied with an insulated flask:
• Never place the insulated flask in a microwave oven, dishwasher, cooker hob or oven.
• To avoid damaging the insulated flask's glass lining, do not insert harsh utensils into it. For the same reason, take care when placing ice cubes or candy sugar in the flask, which should be filled with liquid first.
• Never put your hand inside the insulated coffee jug.
