POLARIZATION INSTRUCTIONS
This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). To reduce the risk of electric shock, this plug is intended to fit into a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully into the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not attempt to modify the plug in any way.
SHORT CORD INSTRUCTIONS
a) A short power-supply cord (or detachable power-supply cord) is provided to reduce the risk resulting from becoming entangled in or tripping over a longer cord. b) An extension cord or longer detachable cord is not recommended for use with this product. c) If a long detachable power-supply cord or extension cord is used,
1) The marked electrical rating of the cord or extension cord should be at least as great as the electrical rating of the appliance.
2) The longer cord should be arranged so that it will not drape over the countertop or table top where it can be pulled on by children or tripped over unintentionally.

Preparation
Do not immerse the water tank in water when cleaning.
Keep away from any objects which could be damaged by the steam.
Do not use seasoning or any other liquid other than water in the water tank.
Make sure there is water in the tank prior to use.
Check that the basket nº1 is always directly above the juice collector, with its base on.
Prior to use
• Using warm soapy water, wash all the removable parts and the inside of the water tank.
• Rinse and dry.
Preparing the steam cooker
• Place the cooker on a stable surface.
• Place the turbo ring around the heating element.
Filling the water tank
• There are two ways to fill the water tank:
1. Pour the water directly into the water tank, up to the maximum level (fig. A).
2. Pour the water into the water tank through the water inlets, up to the maximum level (fig B).
• Place the juice collector on the tank and check that it is level.
• Use fresh water with each use.
Positioning the removable bases
• The baskets have bases which can be removed to obtain a larger cooking space or to cook larger foods.
• To position the bases:
- Place the basket on the table.
- Hold the base right side up (hooks toward the bottom).
- Centre the base inside the basket.
- Press on the hooks until the base is locked into place.
• For baskets n°2 and n°3 (depending on the model), make sure that the base hooks are properly inserted.
• To remove the bases, push up from underneath.

Preparation
Your steam cooker comes with a clip-it handle which makes it easy to remove the cooked food from the basket without damaging it (fish, asparagus tips, etc.).
• Clip the tip of the clip-it handle on the base.
• Squeeze the tip of the handle to unclip it.
Positioning the baskets
• Place the food in the basket.
• Place the baskets on top of the juice collector.
• The baskets are numbered: 1, 2 and 3 (depending on the model).
- Always put basket n°1 on the juice collector.
- Then place basket n°2.
- Then basket n°3 (depending on the model).
• Put the lid on. (The lid fits on all the baskets).
To cook rice
• Place the rice bowl in the steam basket.
• Put the rice and the water in the rice bowl (see the table of cooking times).
To cook eggs
• Place the eggs in the built-in egg holders.
Only use the clip-it handle in the top basket, under the lid.
When you use the “clip-it” handle with a basket, do not clip the base into that basket, simply lay the base, in order to remove it more easily.
Always place the baskets in the right order.
For best results, do not put too much food in the baskets.
