1 Preparation
Place your steam
generator on a stable,
heat resistant surface.
4 Plug in
Completely unwind the
power cord and plug in.

Position the iron’s thermostat control
to the type of fabric to be ironed and
adjust the steam control dial e.g. lower
output for delicate fabrics.
5 Switch on
Switch on by pressing
the on/off switch.
The green light on the
control panel flashes.

Ready to use
The iron is ready to use
when the thermostat light
goes out and the green light
on the control panel stops
flashing, after approximately
2 minutes.
2 Filling with water
Fill the water tank
with tap water.

8 Using steam
To obtain steam, press on
the steam control button
beneath the iron handle
and keep it pressed.
The steam will stop when
you release the button.
9 Refilling the
water tank
If the red light on the
control panel comes on
during ironing, the water
tank is empty. Refill and
press the restart button.
Vertical steaming 10
Set the iron thermostat
and steam output control dial
to MAX. Holding the iron
in a vertical position, tilted
slightly forwards, press
continuously on the steam
control button, moving the
iron from top to bottom.
11 Turbo steam
Press but no more than
twice in succession on
the turbo steam button
on the top of the handle
to obtain a more powerful
burst of steam (depending
on model).

Maintenance
You must rinse out the boiler after approximately
every 10 uses to maintain performance.
1 Check that the generator is cold and unplugged for more
than 2 hours, and that the removable water tank is empty.
2 Place your steam generator on the edge of your sink.
3 Unscrew the cord clip by turning a quarter turn to the left.
4 Using a coin, unscrew the boiler drain plug.
5 Holding your steam generator in a tilted position, and using a jug,
fill the boiler (in the base unit) with 1/4 litre of tap water.
6 Shake the base unit for a few moments and then empty it
completely over a sink or bucket.
To obtain the best result, we recommend
that this operation is done twice.
7 Important : before closing, make sure no water remains
in the boiler.
8 Replace and tighten up the boiler drain plug.
9 Put the cord clip back in place.
Tips for better ironing
• Use a vented ironing board with a large iron rest.
• Use tap water only. Do not use scented or softened water.
• If you use starch, it should be sprayed on the reverse of the fabric.
• Do not iron new garments without washing them first.
