Tecom WB1051 is a single port WiFi - PSTN
gateway used for creating an application for WiFi
phone or Dual Mode Phone users to make calls
via PSTN network. For Dual Mode Phone users,
WB1051 provides an opportunity for subscribers to
use the same handset to make Mobile call while
traveling and PSTN call at home.

WB1051 creates a WiFi network and talks to WiFi
or Dual mode phones on this network via SIP
protocol. A SIP proxy server is embedded in
WB1051 to allow WiFi handset to register and
place/receive the intercom calls or PSTN calls.
Set up and configuration is similar to that of a
DECT cordless phone. The WiFi coverage can
also be increased by adding Tecom repeater
WB1051R.
