1.0 I SANITARI TECMA

I sanitari nautici Tecma sono made in Italy. Vengono prodotti nel distretto di Civita Castellana dove
la produzione di sanitari in ceramica è rinomata per la sua eccellente qualità.

Nel tempo, il dipartimento di ricerca e sviluppo dei prodotti Tecma, ha sviluppato una gamma di
soluzioni con geometrie e ingombri diversificati. Questa ampia offerta di soluzioni consente di
installare un sanitario Tecma là dove ci siano vincoli di design inerenti allo spazio, allo stile e al
peso.

Per molti modelli è possibile richiedere la versione con il bidet integrato o il bidet separato con le
stesse geometrie.

Il ciclo di scarico dei sanitari Tecma prevede il funzionamento combinato di una pompa

maceratrice, per lo scarico delle acque nere e di una pompa di immissione o di un’elettrovalvola per

il carico di acqua pulita.

Tutte le ceramiche contengono al loro interno una potente pompa maceratrice che provvede a
spingere le acque nere negli appositi serbatoi di raccolta. La triturazione avviene in una cavità
apposita provvista di lame di acciaio posizionata prima della girante della pompa.

Il ciclo di scarico è azionato da vari modelli di pannello di comando. In base al modello di pannello di
comando, ci sono opzioni come il monitoraggio del serbatoio acque nere, la regolazione dell’acqua
utilizzata durante il ciclo di scarico, ecc.

Questo prodotto si contraddistingue per la potenza della pompa, l’elevata affidabilità e l’estrema
semplicità del meccanismo. La vasta rete di assistenza garantisce che ci sia sempre un tecnico
pronto all’intervento ed al reperimento dei ricambi.

1.2 Pulizia

La ceramica è particolarmente idonea per i sanitari in quanto molto igienica e resistente a qualsiasi
prodotto di pulizia. Prestare particolare attenzione a non utilizzare prodotti a base di acetone,
trielina o, in generale, qualsiasi prodotto che possa intaccare irreversibilmente l’integrità delle
componenti in gomma del sistema pompa/maceratrice/valvole di non ritorno. Si consiglia di
utilizzare i prodotti Thetford in quanto specificatamente testati per questo tipo di sistemi. Sui
prodotti in carbonio o personalizzati in colori diversi dal bianco o pergamon, evitare di utilizzare
spugne abrasive o prodotti troppo aggressivi, si consiglia di fare sempre una prova sul retro del
vaso.

ATTENZIONE: Rispettare le norme vigenti e di protezione dell’ambiente nella scelta e
nell’utilizzo dei prodotti di pulizia.

1.3 Preparazione per l’inverno

Svuotare completamente tutti gli impianti in modo da non avere problemi di gelo all’interno delle

tubature, oppure utilizzare un prodotto antigelo idoneo. Si sconsigliano prodotti antigelo per
autovetture o prodotti utilizzati per le vaschette del liquido pulizia parabrezza. Rispettare le norme
vigenti e di protezione dell’ambiente nella scelta e nell’utilizzo dei prodotti.

1.4 Copriwater

Sulla gamma Flexi e Design sono possibili diverse configurazioni di Copriwater. Rispettivamente

Termoindurente con o senza “Chiusura Frenata” (Soft Closing) e Poliestere con o senza “Chiusura
Frenata” (Soft Closing). Nella configurazione con chiusura frenata è raccomandato non forzare

accelerando la normale escursione delle cerniere per non danneggiare il funzionamento.

1.5 Scelta della carta

Utilizzare solamente carta igienica. Il sistema è progettato per disporre efficacemente la carta
igienica. Non utilizzare panno carta o altri tipi. Tecma raccomanda l’utilizzo di Thetford Aqua-Soft.

ATTENZIONE : Assicurarsi di aver letto e compreso tutte le avvertenze riportate in
questo documento prima di installare, utilizzare o intervenire sul sistema. Nel caso non

si tenga conto di tali avvertenze c’è il rischio di malfunzionamento, infortunio, danni ed

eventuale perdita dell’imbarcazione, folgorazione. Non apportare nessun cambiamento
al prodotto Tecma, ciò potrebbe comportare una eventuale perdita dell’imbarcazione,

infortunio o folgorazione

2.0 FUNZIONAMENTO ED UTILIZZO

2.1 Pannello di comando All in one

2.1.1 Un pulsante

Azionando il pulsante “AFTER USE” dopo l’utilizzo, si avvierà un ciclo di lavaggio automatico al

termine del quale il vaso sarà riempito con una piccola quantità d’acqua, pronta per il prossimo uso.

2.1.2 Due pulsanti

Azionare il pulsante “BEFORE USE” prima dell’utilizzo. Questo riempirà il vaso con una piccola
quantità d’acqua. Azionare il pulsante “AFTER USE” dopo l’utilizzo, si avvierà un ciclo di lavaggio

automatico al termine del quale il vaso rimarrà vuoto.

NOTA: Con il pannello di comando All in one, si può regolare la quantità di acqua utilizzata durante

vaso sarà riempito con una piccola quantità d’acqua, pronta per il prossimo uso.

2.2.2 Due pulsanti

Azionare il pulsante “BEFORE USE” prima dell’utilizzo. Questo riempirà il vaso con una piccola
quantità d’acqua. Azionare il pulsante “AFTER USE” dopo l’utilizzo, si avvierà un ciclo di lavaggio

automatico al termine del quale il vaso rimarrà vuoto.

NOTA: Se si desidera sarà possibile regolare la quantità di acqua che viene utilizzata durante ogni
ciclo di scarico direttamente sulla centralina di controllo remota ad esso collegata. Infatti nella

parte posteriore di quest’ultima c’è un apposito regolatore che può essere azionato girandolo in
senso orario per aumentare la quantità d’acqua o in senso antiorario per diminuirla. Il livello di

acqua raccomandato è di 1 cm sopra al foro di uscita dello scarico.

quantità d’acqua. Azionare il pulsante “FLUSH” dopo l’utilizzo, si avvierà un ciclo di lavaggio
automatico al termine del quale il vaso rimarrà vuoto.

2.4 Pannello di comando Touch

2.4.1 Un pulsante

Azionando il pulsante touch “AFTER USE”, si avvierà un ciclo di lavaggio automatico al termine del
quale il vaso sarà riempito con una piccola quantità d’acqua, pronta per il prossimo uso.

2.4.2 Due pulsanti

Azionare il pulsante touch “BEFORE USE” prima dell’utilizzo. Questo riempirà il vaso con una
piccola quantità d’acqua. Azionare il pulsante touch “AFTER USE” dopo l’utilizzo, si avvierà un ciclo

di lavaggio automatico al termine del quale il vaso rimarrà vuoto.

NOTA: Se si desidera sarà possibile regolare la quantità di acqua che viene utilizzata durante ogni
ciclo di scarico direttamente sulla centralina di controllo remota ad esso collegata. Infatti nella

parte posteriore di quest’ultima c’è un apposito regolatore che può essere azionato girandolo in

senso orario per aumentare la quantità d’acqua o in senso antiorario per diminuirla.

Per i pannelli Touch a uno e a due pulsanti è possibile programmare la retroilluminazione del
pannello di comando o mettere il pannello in standby ai fini della pulizia attraverso la procedura
specificata nel paragrafo 2.5.3.2 .

2.5 Pannelli di comando con tecnologia “SMART FLUSH”

2.5.1 Premium

Azionare il pulsante “BEFORE USE” prima dell’utilizzo. Questo riempirà il vaso con una piccola
quantità d’acqua. Azionare il pulsante “AFTER USE” dopo l’utilizzo, si avvierà un ciclo di lavaggio
automatico al termine del quale il vaso rimarrà vuoto se in modalità “marine”, rimarrà una piccola
quantità d’acqua se in modalità “ormeggio

Per passare da modalità ormeggio a modalità marine tenere premuto i due pulsanti

contemporaneamente fino a che la spia “LOCK OUT ” inizia a lampeggiare. Questo vi farà cambiare

modalità.

Il pannello di comando è equipaggiato di una spia a tre colori che indica il livello di riempimento del
serbatoio acque nere. (Riferimento par. 3.5)

Se il sensore del serbatoio rileva che il livello massimo è stato raggiunto, disattiverà le funzioni della

pulsantiera impedendo così di utilizzare ulteriormente il sanitario.

Se per qualsiasi ragione si intendesse forzare questo blocco, e riattivare la pulsantiera, premere due

volte tutti e due i tasti contemporaneamente, la spia “LOCK OUT” si accenderà per indicare che la

centralina è in modalità lockout.

Tecnology) vedi par. 2.5.3.1.

2.5.2 Premium Touch

Azionare il pulsante “BEFORE USE” prima dell’utilizzo. Questo riempirà il vaso con una piccola
quantità d’acqua.

Azionare il pulsante “AFTER USE” dopo l’utilizzo, si avvierà un ciclo di lavaggio automatico al
termine del quale il vaso rimarrà vuoto se in modalità “navigazione”, rimarrà una piccola quantità
d’acqua se in modalità “ormeggio”.

Per passare da modalità ormeggio a modalità navigazione tenere premuti i due pulsanti
contemporaneamente fino a che la spia “LOCK OUT” inizia a lampeggiare. Ciò vi farà cambiare
modalità.

2.5.3 Programmazione funzioni SMART FLUSH

2.5.3.1 Modalità Navigazione o Ormeggio

Se si prevede di navigare spesso, impostare il sistema in modalità navigazione. La toilette rimarrà vuota
dopo l'utilizzo, verrà aggiunta solo una piccola quantità d'acqua per creare un tappo idraulico. In questo

modo si eviteranno fuoriuscite d'acqua accidentali dovute al movimento della barca durante la navigazione.

Se si prevede di restare ormeggiati a lungo, impostare il sistema in modalità ormeggio. Dopo
l'utilizzo rimarrà una piccola quantità d'acqua nella toilette, in questo modo sarà sufficiente
utilizzare un solo bottone per scaricare.

2. Toccare il pulsante BEFORE
USE [PRIMA DELL'USO] prima
di utilizzare la toilette.

Il solenoide farà entrare la
quantità d'acqua desiderata
per un massimo di 12 secondi.

1. La tazza
è vuota

MODALITÀ NAVIGAZIONE: la tazza rimane vuota al termine del ciclo di scarico

3. Toccare il pulsante AFTER USE
[DOPO L'USO] dopo aver utilizzato la
toilette. L'azione combinata
dell’elettrovalvola e della pompa
maceratrice provvederà alla pulizia e al
risciacquo della tazza. Verrà creato un
piccolo tappo idraulico e la tazza rimarrà
vuota.

Cambiare la modalità di scarico – dalla modalità navigazione alla modalità ormeggio (Fig.1)

Per impostazione predefinita, il sistema è impostato in modalità navigazione. Per passare dalla
modalità navigazione alla modalità ormeggio:

1) Premere contemporaneamente i pulsanti BEFORE USE [PRIMA DELL'USO] e AFTER USE

[DOPO L'USO] per circa 3 secondi. Il LED con la chiave lampeggerà per indicare che è stata
attivata la modalità programmazione.

2) Continuare a tenere premuti i pulsanti per almeno 4 secondi dopo che il LED con la chiave

ha iniziato a lampeggiare.

3) Una volta raggiunto il livello d'acqua desiderato, rilasciare i pulsanti

4) In questo modo viene impostata la quantità d'acqua per l'utilizzo successivo e il sistema

viene impostato in modalità ormeggio.

5) Per tornare alla modalità navigazione, consultare il paragrafo successivo

Se la quantità d'acqua è già stata regolata e si vuole tornare in modalità navigazione:

1) Premere contemporaneamente i pulsanti BEFORE USE [PRIMA DELL'USO] e AFTER USE

attivata la modalità programmazione.

2.5.3.2 Disabilitazione per pulizia e Programmazione retroilluminazione

Per pulire il pannello Touch è possibile disabilitare temporaneamento i pulsanti.

1. Applicare la mano sul pannello per 15 secondi (come illustrato) fino a che la retroilluminazione
inizia a lampeggiare.

2. Si può pulire il pannello con un panno.

3. Dopo 15 secondi i pulsanti verranno automaticamente riabilitati.

E’ possibile programmare il pannello Touch per avere la retroilluminazione:

a. Sempre accesa

b. Sempre spenta

c. Attivata da un sensore di prossimita (default)

Istruzioni per passare da un programma ad un altro:

1. Premere e tenere premuto il led nella zona centrale (Tank level led)

2. Mentre si tiene premuto il led centrale, premere e lasciare simultaneamente i pulsanti BEFORE
USE e AFTER USE. Questo permettera di passare da un programma all’altro simultaneamente 
SEMPRE ACCESA  SEMPRE SPENTA  PROSSIMITA’

ATTENZIONE: a non oltrepassare il livello massimo di capienza del serbatoio quando
questa spia è rossa, modalità lockout.

ATTENZIONE: Se la Toilet è connessa ad una presa a mare, assicurarsi che la valvola a sfera
di sicurezza della presa a mare sia sempre chiusa quando ci si allontana dall’imbarcazione,

anche se per un breve periodo di tempo

ATTENZIONE: Per le Toilet che utilizzano sistemi ad acqua dolce che sono (anche se
momentaneamente) collegati alla rete idrica del porto, assicurarsi che la valvola nel punto di

connessione con la banchina sia sempre chiusa quando ci si allontana dall’imbarcazione,

anche se per un breve periodo di tempo

ATTENZIONE: a non forzare la chiusura del coperchio in caso il vostro vaso fosse dotato di
un sistema soft closing. Il sistema è progettato per la chiusura automatica e una forza

esterna potrebbe danneggiare irreversibilmente il meccanismo.

ATTENZIONE: se il vostro vaso è munito di funzione bidet non oltrepassare il livello
massimo di capienza del vaso stesso, non è previsto uno canale di scolo per il troppo

pieno. Azionare la pompa maceratrice (after use) per svuotare il vaso.

ATTENZIONE: In caso di troppo pieno accidentale (bidet) è possibile effettuare uno scarico

con la “Safety Function” azionata premendo contemporaneamente “BEFORE USE” e

“AFTER USE” per meno di 3 secondi.

2.6 PRESTIGE

I modelli della linea Prestige - Prestige 45 and Prestige 50 – sono dotati du un singolo pulsante
manuale rotondo integrato nello stesso corpo della ceramica, rispettivamente sul fianco posteriore
(Prestige 45) or sulla spalletta posteriore (Prestige 50). Il pulsante di attivazione manuale attiva un
ciclo di scarico completo (equivalente alla modalità ormeggio) che lascia un quantitativio di acqua
residua pulita all’interno del bacino del vaso.

3.0 INSTALLAZIONE E MANUTENZIONE

ATTENZIONE: Assicurarsi di aver letto e compreso tutte le avvertenze riportate in questo

documento prima di installare, utilizzare o intervenire sul sistema. Nel caso non si tenga
conto di tali avvertenze c’è il rischio di infortunio, danni ed eventuale perdita
dell’imbarcazione, folgorazione.

Non apportare nessun cambiamento al prodotto Tecma, questo potrebbe risultare in una eventuale
perdita dell’imbarcazione, infortunio o folgorazione.

TECMA SRL non è responsabile per danni a persone o cose, infortuni o morte che
possano essere riconducibili a installazioni, operazioni o interventi impropri.

TECMA SRL raccomanda che sia l’impianto idraulico che quello elettrico venga eseguito

da personale di certificata competenza e affidabilità.

Il rispetto delle norme vigenti in materia di impianti è necessario.

ATTENZIONE: Pericoli di corto circuito, incendio o allagamento. Non considerare questi

pericoli può portare alla perdita dell’imbarcazione, l’infortunio o la morte.

Raccomandazioni:

- Utilizzare sempre un fusibile dimensionato adeguatamente nei circuiti elettrici

- Prima di iniziare qualsiasi intervento di manutenzione assicurarsi che non ci sia tensione

nell’impianto elettrico e che le prese a mare siano chiuse in posizione OFF

- Se la Toilet è connessa ad una presa a mare, assicurarsi che la valvola di sicurezza della

presa a mare sia sempre chiusa quando ci si allontana dall’imbarcazione, anche se per un

breve periodo di tempo.

- Per le Toilet che utilizzano sistemi ad acqua dolce che sono (anche se

momentaneamente) collegati alla rete idrica del porto, assicurarsi che la valvola nel
punto di connessione con la banchina sia sempre chiusa quando ci si allontana
dall’imbarcazione, anche se per un breve periodo di tempo

- Se la Toilet è connessa ad una presa a mare, tutte le tubazioni utilizzate per le varie

connessioni devono essere di tipo nautico e devono essere assicurate a ogni connessione
con due (2) fascette di acciaio inox. Queste fascette devono essere ispezionate

frequentemente per verificarne il serraggio e quindi prevenire eventuali perdite.

- Se la Toilet è connessa ad una presa a mare, assicurarsi che ci sia una valvola di sicurezza

in corrispondenza e che sia installata correttamente, devono essere di tipo marino, a
sfera, azionate da una leva.

- Se l’acqua non arriva dopo i primi due o tre scarichi, c’è un problema nel montaggio o un

malfunzionamento. Interrompere l’utilizzo della toilet e far riferimento alla sezione
“risoluzione dei problemi”

- Utilizzare solamente ferramenta in acciaio inox. Utilizzare sempre i gommini

salvaceramica forniti. Eventuali errori nel montaggio del vaso potrebbero nel tempo
provocare movimenti impropri della ceramica con eventuali danni a cose o persone.

- La toilet è stata disegnata per disporre solamente di rifiuti organici umani e carta

igienica. Non buttare mai altre tipologie di materiale. (ad esempio: panno-carta,
salviette umide, profilattici, assorbenti, filo interdentale, etc.)

- Utilizzare sempre i coprivite, i salvaceramica e i connettori forniti con la toilet.

- In caso di dubbi rivolgetevi sempre prima al vostro distributore TECMA

ATTENZIONE: Gettare solamente carta igienica all’interno della toilet.

3.1 Luogo di installazione

Prima di iniziare l’installazione :

- accertarsi che la cassa acque nere sia in una posizione idonea per essere raggiunta dal

luogo di montaggio della toilet

- accertarsi che la configurazione della toilet corrisponda al tipo di impianto idraulico ed

elettrico dell’imbarcazione.

- assicurarsi che il modello scelto sia conforme al luogo predestinato all’istallazione

tenendo conto di:

 ingombro del piede
 corretta apertura del coperchio

 ci sia spazio sufficiente a passare tutte le tubazioni senza danneggiarle o piegarle in

modo anomalo

 il paiolo dove si prevede l’istallazione sia strutturalmente idoneo a supportare il peso

del vaso e di un potenziale utilizzatore, anche in navigazione dove questi carichi
potrebbero essere ancora più alti dovuti al beccheggio o al rollio dell’imbarcazione

 ci sia spazio per installare una valvola di ventilazione sufficientemente al di sopra del

wc.

 Nel caso di wc installato al di sotto della linea di galleggiamento accertarsi ci sia

spazio per installare una valvola di ventilazione necessaria all’immissione e scarico ad
una quota sufficientemente superiore ad
essa.

 nelle versioni SHORT ci sia spazio

sufficiente per alloggiare il motore che
fuoriesce al di sotto del vaso per 100 mm

 nel modello SANINAUTICO ci sia uno spazie di

almeno 3 cm per garantire la corretta apertura del
coperchio e che ci sia spazio per alloggiare i manicotti
del maceratore

 nel modello EVOLUTION ci siano i presupposti per

istallare la piastra di fissaggio vertical (non fornita) o
per garantire un ancoraggio idoneo al carico
previsto. Questo modello è concepito con un
apposito sistema di aggancio del carter inferiore.
Dopo aver installato la parte superiore è sufficiente
far corrispondere i ganci posteriori del carter alle
apposite sedi e girare la spina in nylon in modo da
bloccare l’insieme.

3.2 Elettrovalvola

L’Elettrovalvola Invensys può essere installata sia integrata nel vaso, direttamente al portagomma
(attraverso adattatore non fornito), che sulla linea di alimentazione acqua dolce.

Prima del montaggio eliminare lo sporco dalle tubazioni (residuo di brasatura, perle di saldatura,
trucioli metallici, materiale di tenuta).

Un filtro all’interno dell’elettrovalvola previene avarie causate dalle impurita dell’acqua. E’
raccomandato tenere il filtro dell’elettrovalvola pulito. Non far leva sulla valvola durante
l’avvitatura. Non ostruire il foro pilota all’uscita della valvola. Deve essere disponibile l’intera

sezione della tubazione senza strozzamenti. Osservare il campo di pressioni raccomandato (vedi
sezione 7.0).

3.3 Pompa di immissione

Montare la pompa di immissione in un luogo asciutto, ventilato. La pompa non può essere
sommersa o esposta a spruzzi.

Prevedere un adeguato fusibile nel circuito di alimentazione.

La pompa può essere montata sia orizzontalmente che verticalmente (in questo caso orientarla con
l’unità pompante verso il basso).

Montare il filtro prima della pompa.

Installare una valvola di ventilazione per prevenire fenomeni di sifonaggio, specialmente se la toilet
è installata sotto la linea di galleggiamento

ATTENZIONE: La pompa di immissione non funge da valvola di non ritorno, il mancato
utilizzo di una valvola di ventilazione può provocare allagamenti con rischi di perdita

dell’imbarcazione, infortunio o morte.

A parte il pannello di comando “All in One” tutto integrato, tutti i pannelli le altre versioni hanno
una centralina di controllo che si può installare sia direttamente nel vaso sia in un recesso
all’esterno dove sia più conveniente. Tutti pannelli di comando sono predisposti con appositi
connettori elettrici. Per gli schemi di connessioni di tutti i components si veda par. 8.6-8.11.

3.5 Sensori di serbatoio

I sensori Tecma sono di due tipi:

- Pneumatico

- Mirus cel

3.5.1 Pneumatico

I sensori a pressostato possono funzionare con qualsiasi pannello. Vanno connessi con la centralina
tramite il cavo grigio/nero. Nel caso ci siano più centraline a bordo è necessario cablare insieme
tutte le centraline e poi connettersi al sensore.

In caso di utilizzo di sensore con pressostato e pannello di comando premium è necessario
installare per ogni toilet un adattatore STA (Single Toilet Adapter).

Tutti I cavi dello STA sono 16awg (1.55mm) lunghezza 25 cm

La tensione nei cavi che provengono dal sensore (A, B, C) dovrebbe essere tra 6-24 V dc -

A+B contatto di cassa acque nere piena 4/4

A+C contatto di cassa acque nere quasi piena ¾

A – NERO è in comune per il pieno e il quasi pieno

B – ROSSO è il contatto dal sensore (pieno)

C – BIANCO è il contatto dal sensore (quasi pieno)

Raccomandazioni per l’installazione dello STA:

-Se il quasi pieno ¾ non è necessario non connetterlo.

-Proteggere le connessioni dalla corrosione

-A,B,C è la tensione in entrata (dalla cassa di raccolta)

-D,E,F,G è la tensione in uscita (verso la centralina )

-Se non ci sono sensori installati connettere solamente D+E alla
centralina

-Se lo STA è vicino alla cassa è possibile estendere i cavi D,E,F,G fino
a 40mt*

- Se lo STA è vicino alla toilet è possibile estendere i cavi A,B,C, fino
a 100mt *

-Il led “connected” si accenderà ad intermittenza quando le
connessioni sono eseguite correttamente

* Dipende sempre dal tipo di configurazione dell’impianto elettrico

ATTENZIONE: Per funzionare correttamente la centralina del pannello premium deve avere
sempre connesso un sensore di livello per il 4/4 o lo STA (cavo D+E)

3.5.2 Mirus Cel

I sensori Mirus Cell sono compatibili con le sole centraline Premium (Premium e Touch Premium) e
possono essere direttamente attaccati esternamente alle casse di raccolta acque nere (max
spessore 10mm) , purchè siano di materiale plastico.

Per l’installazione, pulire la superficie del lato alto del serbatoio in alto - circa sulla mezzeria con
alcool isopropilico (non fornito) dove verrà montato il sensore. Una volta ben pulita e asciutta,
posizionare il sensore facendo pressione sul punto individuato. (Nota: l'orientamento del sensore è
ininfluente)

Se disponibile, seguire la stessa procedura per il sensore di Mid-tank opzionale, che dovrebbe
essere montato a un livello intermedio sullo stesso lato del serbatoio.

Il sensore del serbatoio pieno deve essere montato nel punto più alto sul serbatoio o laddove
l’installatore vuole che sia il massimo livello di riempiment0. Il sensore ha una protezione da
rimuovere per poter lasciare scoperat la parte adesiva.

3.6 Attrezzatura necessaria

- Avvitatore elettrico con inserto appropriato o cacciavite per le fascette inox

- Avvitatore elettrico o cacciavite per il serraggio delle viti di montaggio

- Seghetto alternativo per l’esecuzione dello scasso per l’alloggiamento del pannello di comando

- Chiave inglese regolabile per il serraggio dell’elettrovalvola

3.7 IMPIANTI

Alimentazione: Ogni prodotto è provvisto sul retro di un’apposita etichetta che specifica il voltaggio

dell’alimentazione a cui deve essere connesso: 12v /24 v/110 v/230 (vedi cap. 8 per gli schemi elettrici)

Carico acqua pulita: I sanitari nautici TECMA possono essere utilizzati sia con impianti progettati

per utilizzare l’acqua proveniente da un’unica pompa o autoclave (impianti centralizzati) e sia per
quelli concepiti per utilizzare l’acqua spinta da una pompa d’immissione dedicata che pesca da una

presa a mare (impianti singoli).

ATTENZIONE: NON USARE l’elettrovalvola Invensys con acqua di mare

Scarico acque nere: I sanitari nautici TECMA hanno potenti pompe maceratrici che spingono le
acque nere fino agli appositi serbatoi di raccolta.

ATTENZIONE: Configurazione Wc A. Vaso installato sotto il livello di galeggiamento, è
doveroso montare UNA VALVOLA DI VENTILAZIONE ad una quota sufficientemente

superiore alla linea stessa. Vedi esempio fig.1.

ATTENZIONE: Configurazione Wc B. Vaso installato sopra il livello di galeggiamento, è
raccomandato montare UNA VALVOLA DI VENTILAZIONE per evitare fenomeni di

sifonaggio che potrebbero generare cattivi odori. Vedi esempio fig.1.

ATTENZIONE: La linea di galleggiamento presa in esame dovrà essere calcolata tenendo in
considerazione i vari assetti durante la navigazione. Vedi esempio fig.2.

3.7.1 IMPIANTO CENTRALIZZATO - ACQUA DOLCE

3.7.1.1 - Impianto idraulico

Il ciclo di scarico dei wc nautico TECMA utilizza l’acqua dolce del serbatoio.

Per ogni wc, l’elettrovalvola può essere integrata nel vaso, direttamente collegata all’inlet/nozzle

attraverso il tubo di gomma nero in dotazione, oppure montata nell’impianto di acqua dolce di
bordo (lo stesso che serve lavandini, docce e altre utenze). Quando si aziona il wc, il pannello di
comando - attraverso la centralina- apre l’elettrovalvola e l’acqua viene approvvigionata tramite
l’autoclave che dà pressione a tutto l’impianto idraulico di bordo. Schema in sezione 8.5.

ATTENZIONE: L’impianto deve lavorare a una pressione interna consigliata di 3 bar

ATTENZIONE: Mantenere puliti i filtri di ogni elettrovalvola

3.7.1.2 – Impianto elettrico 12V/24V

L’autoclave è sempre sotto tensione indipendentemente dall’impianto dei sanitari. Il tasto “before
use” apre l’elettrovalvola, il tasto “after use” avvia un programma che apre l’elettrovalvola, poi
aziona la pompa, e per finire riaziona l’elettrovalvola per il risciacquo finale.

sezione 7.0). Utilizzare i connettori forniti con il sanitario TECMA.

3.7.2 IMPIANTO SINGOLO E MULTIPLO – ACQUA SALATA

3.7.2.1 –Impianto idraulico

Il ciclo di scarico dei wc nautico TECMA utilizza acqua proveniente dall’esterno tramite una presa a

mare. Schemi in sezione 8.1/8.2.

Quando si aziona il ciclo di scarico, il pannello di comando aziona una pompa di immissione
dedicata che spinge l’acqua tramite un impianto dedicato.

ATTENZIONE: La pompa di immissione non funge da valvola di non ritorno e quindi
consente il passaggio di acqua quando non in operazione

ATTENZIONE: Se la toilet si trova sotto la linea di galleggiamento, installare una valvola di

ventilazione sia sull’impianto immissione che di scarico. Su scafi a vela tenere in

considerazione dello sbandamento.

ATTENZIONE: La pompa di immissione non è disponibile per modelli con
motori a 110 V/230 V ac

3.7.2.2 –Impianto elettrico

Il tasto before use aziona la pompa, il tasto after use avvia un programma che aziona la pompa, poi
il motore del vaso e per finire aziona nuovamente la pompa per il risciacquo finale.

4.0 Risoluzione dei problemi

4.1 Il wc è rumoroso

Se nel wc sono stati gettati oggetti solidi o carta diversa da carta igenica, la pompa potrebbe essere
parzialmente bloccata. Provare a scaricare ripetutamente, se il problema persiste è necessario
aprire ed ispezionare la pompa maceratrice. Rivolgersi ad un service centre TECMA per assistenza

qualificata. Se il passaggio dell’acqua è molto rumoroso, specialmente alla fine dello scarico,

controllare la posizione dei manicotti.

4.2 L’acqua viene aggiunta ma la pompa non scarica

Potrebbe essere un problema al motore o al pannello di comando. Controllare con un tester se il
pannello da corrente al motore oppure no.

Se sia il pannello che il motore funzionano correttamente, controllare che I manicotti non siano
ostruiti e che siano installati correttamente.

4.3 La pompa scarica ma l’acqua non viene aggiunta

Potrebbe essere un problema all’elettrovalvola/pompa di immissione o alla centralina. Controllare

con un tester se il pannello di comando dia corrente correttamente. Controllare che la pressione di
esercizio dell’impianto sia nei parametri indicati in sezione 7.0.

4.4 La pompa scarica lentamente

L’occlusione parziale di alcune parti dei manicotti di gomma può ridurre le performance della

pompa.

4.5 Rimane dell’acqua nel wc

Le valvole di non ritorno hanno bisogno di una colonna d’acqua di almeno 20 cm per avere una
buona pressione di chiusura. Controllare che l’impianto sia realizzato con apposite valvole di
ventilazione. Controllare l’elettrovalvola non abbia problemi di chiusura. Con pannello di comando

All in One ad un pulsante questo è normale. Con pannello di comando premium in modalità
ormeggio questo è normale

4.6 Il led del pannello di comando è sempre di colore rosso

Controllare che il sensore sia installato correttamente e cablato correttamente.

Qualora utilizzati i sensori TECMA pneumatici, se la ventilazione del serbatoio acque nere non è

dimensionato adeguatamente, ad ogni scarico aumenterà la pressione all’interno del serbatoio

innescando il sensore.

Se il led rimane acceso dopo aver staccato il connettore grigio/nero che collega il sensore alla
centralina, vuol dire che c’è un problema con il pannello di comando.

4.7 Gorgoglio

Controllare che l’impianto sia provvisto di apposite valvole di ventilazione.

4.8 Perdite

Rimuovere il wc per poter fare un’ispezione accurata. Appurato che non sia una frattura della
ceramica ricercare la perdita nelle connessioni dell’impianto e sostituire il componente che perde.

4.9 Cattivi odori

Controllare che sia effettivamente il wc ad emanare cattivo odore. Spesso docce, bidet e lavandini
hanno sifoni che riasciugano in fretta e causano cattivi odori.

Se si è appurato che è il wc ad emettere cattivi odori allora controllare che l’impianto sia provvisto

di apposite valvole di ventilazione.

5.0 Domande frequenti

5.1 Posso connettere più wc sulla stessa linea.

Si, utilizzare connessioni ad Y invece di quelle a T. Utilizzare sempre valvole di ventilazione.

5.2 Che tipo di manutenzione è richiesta.

I prodotti TECMA non hanno bisogno di speciale manutenzione o preparazione invernale. L’utilizzo
di prodotti come il Thetford Tank Freshner per la pulizia dei serbatoi e delle tubature è consigliato.

5.3 Si possono utilizzare prodotti acidi o aggressivi.

Le componenti plastiche del prodotto TECMA sono state testate con molti prodotti per la pulizia in
commercio. Evitare prodotti come aceto, acetone trielina. In generale evitare i solventi per non
indebolire le gomme, i gel e le schiume per non ostruire la valvola di ventilazione. Evitare di
scaricare in mare sostanze nocive all’ambiente.

5.4 Che tipo di tubo posso utilizzare

La pompa maceratrice TECMA scarica utilizzando qualsiasi tipo di tubo (armovin, PVC, safeodor…)
Si consiglia di utilizzare sempre un DN 40.

5.5 Che tipo di ricambi dovrei tenere a bordo

Di solito un pannello di comando, un motore e l’elettrovalvola sono sufficienti, avere anche un kit di
manicotti vi consentirà di rigenerare totalmente una toilet.

1.0 TECMA SANITARY SYSTEM

Tecma marine sanitary systems are made in Italy. The entire production is made in the district of
Civita Castellana, which is well known for manufacturing top-quality ceramic sanitary ware.

The Tecma Research and Development department has, over the years, developed a series of
solutions featuring different shapes and sizes. This wide range of solutions allows you to install a
Tecma toilet wherever there are space, style and weight constraints.

Tecma toilets can be requested with integrated or separate bidet with the same geometry.

The Tecma system is based on the combined action of a macerator pump to discharge blackwater,
and an inlet pump or solenoid valve for the clean water inlet.

All the ceramic toilets have an in-built macerator pump, which pushes blackwater to the blackwater tanks.
Shredding occurs in a specific cavity equipped with steel blades positioned before the pump impeller.

The flushing cycle is activated from different models of control panels. There are specific options
available according to the control panel model, such as blackwater tank monitoring, adjustment of
the water used during the flushing cycle, etc.

This product is characterised by its pump power, and for its reliable and simple mechanism. A
global service network is always available to provide assistance and spare parts.

1.1 Warranty

• The warranty covers all TECMA products for 2 years from the date of registration of the

boat.

• The warranty covers TECMA spare parts for 2 years from the date of purchase

• The warranty does not cover damage resulting from negligence of the user and use and

installation that fails to comply with the instructions provided. Moreover, accidental
damage, tampering with or modifying the product will make the warranty null and void.

1.2 Cleaning

Ceramic is particularly suitable for toilets, as it guarantees hygiene and it is resistant against any
cleaning product. Do not use acetone- or trichlorethylene-based products, or any product that may
irreversibly damage the rubber components of the pump/macerator/check valves. We recommend
using Thetford products, as they are specifically tested for this type of systems. Do not use
aggressive products or abrasive sponges on carbon or coloured products (other than white or
pergamon). We recommend applying a small amount of product to the rear of the toilet first to
check its suitability.

WARNING: Comply with the environmental protection standards in force when choosing
and using cleaning products.

1.3 Winterising

Completely empty all the systems to prevent the pipes from freezing, or use a specific antifreeze
product. Do not use automotive antifreeze products or products used in the windscreen washer
solvent tank. Comply with the environmental protection standards in force when choosing and
using these products.

1.4 Toilet seat cover

The Flexi and Design range include different seat cover configurations. Respectively,
Thermosetting and polyester both with and without Soft Closing. Do not accelerate the normal
excursion of the hinges in the configuration with Soft Closing in order not to affect the operation.

1.5 Choosing the type of toilet paper

Only use toilet paper. The system is designed to dispose of toilet paper effectively. Do not use

clockwise, or decreases it if turned anticlockwise. The recommended water level is 1 cm above the

2.5 Control panel with “SMART FLUSH” technology

2.5.1 Premium

Press the “BEFORE USE” button before using the toilet. This will fill the toilet with a small amount
of water. Press the “AFTER USE” button after using the toilet. This will start the automatic flush
cycle, after which the toilet will be emptied if the “marine” mode is enabled. Alternatively, a small
amount of water will remain in the toilet if the “mooring” mode is enabled.

To switch from mooring mode to marine mode, press and hold the two buttons at the same time
until the “LOCK OUT” LED starts blinking. This will change the mode.

The control panel is equipped with a 3-colour LED, which indicates the blackwater tank level. (Refer
to par. 3.5.

As soon as the maximum level is reached, the sensor disables the functions of the push-button
panel, preventing use of the toilet.

To force this block and enable the control panel, press both buttons at the same time twice. The

“LOCK OUT” LED turns on to indicate that the control unit is in lockout mode.

2.5.2 Premium Touch

Press the “BEFORE USE” button before using the toilet. This will fill the toilet with a small amount

of water.

Press the “AFTER USE” button after using the toilet. This will start the automatic flush cycle, after

which the toilet will be emptied if the “sailing” mode is enabled. Alternatively, a small amount of
water will remain in the toilet if the “mooring” mode is enabled.

2.5.3 SMART FLUSH function programming

2.5.3.1 Sailing or Mooring mode

Set the system to sailing mode if you plan on sailing often. The toilet will remain empty after use.
Only a small amount of water will be added to create a water trap. This will avoid accidental water
spilling caused by motion of the vessel during navigation.

Set the system to mooring mode if you plan on docking for a long period of time. Water will
remain in the toilet after use allowing you to flush by pressing a single button.

The system is set on sailing mode by default. To switch from sailing mode to mooring mode

3 seconds. The lock LED will flash, indicating that the programming mode is enabled.

2.5.3.2 Disabling the toilet for cleaning operations and Programming the backlight.

Temporarily disable the buttons in order to clean the Touch control panel.

1. Place your hand on the panel for 15 seconds (as shown in the figure) until the backlight starts
blinking.

2. Clean the panel with a cloth.

3. The buttons will be automatically enabled again after 15 seconds.

You can program the Touch panel to have the backlight:

a. Always on

b. Always off

c. Activated with a proximity sensor (default)

Instructions to switch from one program to another:

1. Press and hold the LED at the centre (Tank level LED)

2. While you hold the centre LED down, simultaneously press and release the BEFORE USE and

WARNING: do not to exceed the tank maximum level when this LED is red (lockout mode).

WARNING: If the toilet is connected to a sea cock, make sure that its safety ball valve is
always closed when the boat is unattended, even for a short time.

WARNING: For toilets that use fresh water systems connected (even temporarily) to the
port water mains, make sure that the valve in the quay connection point is always closed

when the boat is unattended, even for a short time.

WARNING: do not force the cover to close if the toilet is equipped with a soft closing
system. The system is designed to close automatically and applying external force may

irreversibly damage the mechanism.

WARNING: if the toilet is equipped with a bidet function, make sure not to exceed the toilet
maximum level, as there is no overflow drain. Enable the macerator pump (after use) to

empty the toilet.

WARNING: In case of accidental overflow (bidet), the Safety Function, enabled by pressing
BEFORE USE and AFTER USE simultaneously for less than 3 seconds, allows you to flush.

2.6 PRESTIGE

The models of the Prestige line (Prestige 45 and Prestige 50) are equipped with an individual round
manual button placed on the rear side (Prestige 45) or on the rear shoulder (Prestige 50) of the
ceramic body. The manual activation button starts a complete flushing cycle (equal to mooring
mode), which leaves clean residual water inside the toilet.

3.0 INSTALLATION AND SERVICE

TECMA SRL recommends entrusting qualified personnel with installing the hydraulic
and electrical systems.

Comply with the system standards in force.

WARNING: Danger of electric shock, fire, or flooding. Failure to comply with these warnings
may result in loss of property, injury, or death. Recommendations:

- Always use a fuse sized according to the electric circuits.

- Before starting any maintenance operation, make sure that the power supply is

disconnected and that the sea cocks are in the OFF position (closed).

- If the toilet is connected to a sea cock, make sure that its safety valve is always closed

when the boat is unattended, even for a short time.

- For toilets that use fresh water systems connected (even temporarily) to the port water

mains, make sure that the valve in the quay connection point is always closed when the
boat is unattended, even for a short time.

- If the Toilet is connected to a sea cock, only use marine-type fittings, which must be

secured to every connection with two (2) stainless steel straps. Inspect these straps
frequently to check the seal and, thus, prevent any leaks.

- If the Toilet is connected to a sea cock, install a marine ball safety valve (activated by a

lever) in correspondence of the sea cock.

- If water fails to flow after the first two/three flushes, there may be an assembly problem

or malfunction. In this case, do not use the toilet and refer to the "Troubleshooting"
section.

- Only use stainless steel hardware. Always use the supplied ceramic-protection rubber

inserts. Any toilet assembly errors may result in improper movements, which may
damage objects or injure persons.

- The toilet is designed to dispose of human waste and toilet paper. Never flush other

types of materials (e.g. paper towel, wet wipes, condoms, sanitary pads, dental floss,
etc.)

- Always use the screw caps, ceramic-protection rubber inserts, and connectors supplied

with the toilet.

- If in doubt, please refer to your TECMA distributor.

WARNING: Flush toilet paper only.

3.1 Installation site

Before starting installation:

- make sure that the blackwater tank is in a suitable position and can be reached from the

toilet installation site

- make sure that the toilet configuration corresponds to the hydraulic and electric system

of the boat.

- make sure that the chosen model is suitable for the installation into, taking into

consideration:

 the foot overall dimensions
 correct seat cover opening

 there is sufficient space to fit all the pipes without damaging or bending them

inappropriately.

 the floor plate can withstand the weight of the toilet and of a potential user, even

during sailing, when these loads may be greater due to the pitching and rolling of the
boat.

 there is sufficient room for a vent valve to be installed above the toilet.
 In the event the toilet is installed below the floating line, make sure there is room for

a vent valve to be installed above it.

 The SHORT versions have enough room for

the motor, which extends 100 mm below the
bowl.

 The SANINAUTICO model has a minimum

of 3 cm available to allow the cover to be opened,
and there is enough room to house the macerator
sleeves

 The EVOLUTION model has the necessary

requirements to install the vertical fixing plate
(not provided) or to suitably secure the load. This
model is equipped with a specific lower casing
connection system. Once you have installed the
upper part, connect the casing rear hooks to
their seats and turn the nylon plug to lock the
unit.

3.2 Solenoid valve

The Invensys solenoid valve can be integrated in the toilet, directly in the inlet hose connector (see
specification on page) or installed in the fresh water supply line.

Before installing the solenoid valve, clean the pipes (brazing or welding residues, metal chips, seal
material).

A filter inside the solenoid valve prevents failures resulting from water impurities. We recommend
cleaning the solenoid valve filter regularly. Do not force the solenoid valve when tightening it. Do
not obstruct the pilot hole at the valve outlet. The entire piping section must be free from
bottlenecks. Comply with the recommended pressure range (refer to section 7.0).

3.3 Inlet pump

Install the inlet pump in a dry and ventilated place. The pump cannot be submerged or exposed to
sprays.

Install a fuse in the power supply circuit.

The pump can be assembled horizontally as well as vertically (in this case, the pumping unit must
face downwards).

Install the filter before the pump.

Install a vent valve to prevent siphoning phenomena, especially if the toilet is installed below the
floating line

WARNING: The inlet pump must not be used as a check valve. Failure to use a vent valve
may result in flooding, loss of the property, injuries, or even death.

3.5 Tank sensors

Tecma sensors can be of two types:

- Pressure switch

- Mirus cel

3.5.1 Pressure switch

The pressure switch sensors can run with any panel. They are connected to the control unit with the
grey/black wire. In the presence of several control units on board, you must wire all the control
units together before connecting the sensor.

If a sensor with a pressure switch and premium control panel is used, each toilet must be equipped
with an STA (Single Toilet Adapter) adapter.

All STA wires are 16awg (1.55mm), length equal to 25 cm

The voltage of the cables coming from the sensor (A, B, C) should range between 6-24 V dc

STA installation recommendations:

- Do not connect it if the almost full (¾) level is not required.

- Protect all connections from corrosion

-A, B, and C is the input voltage (from the collection tank)

the sensor into place. (Note: Wires can face any direction. The direction of the sensors does not
affect its operation).

- If available follow the same procedure for the Mid-Tank sensor. However, keep in mind that it

should be assembled on the left-right centreline, approximately half way up the side of the tank.

The Full Tank Sensorhas to attached at the highest point on the tank for the tank’s capacity, or
where the installer wants the Tank Full level to be.

The sensor has a removable cover over the pressure-sensitive adhesive pad.

3.6 Equipment required

- Electric drill with insert or screwdriver for the stainless steel straps.

- Electric drill or screwdriver to tighten the assembly screws

- Jig saw to make the control panel housing

- Adjustable wrench to tighten the solenoid valve

3.7 SYSTEM

Power supply: On the rear side of the product there is a label that specifies the power voltage value:

12v /24 v/110 v/230 v (refer to section 8 for electric wiring)

Clean water supply: TECMA toilets can be used with water coming from a single pump/autoclave
(centralised systems) or from a single inlet pump connected to a sea cock (single systems).

WARNING: DO NOT USE the Invensys solenoid valve with sea water

Blackwater discharge: TECMA toilets have powerful macerator pumps, which push
blackwater to the collection tanks.

WARNING: Toilet configuration (A). The toilet is installed below the floating line. Install a
VENT VALVE at a height greater than the line. See fig. 1.

3.7.1 CENTRALISED SYSTEM - FRESH WATER

3.7.1.1 - Hydraulic system

The TECMA's toilet flushing cycles use the tank fresh water.

The solenoid valve can be integrated in the toilet, directly connected to the inlet/nozzle via the
supplied black rubber pipe. Alternatively, it can be mounted in the fresh water system (the one that
serves sinks, showers, and other utilities). When the toilet is used, the control panel opens the
solenoid valve through the control unit. The water is supplied via the autoclave, which pressurises

the entire hydraulic system on board. Diagram in section 8.5.

WARNING: The recommended system operating pressure is equal to 3 bar

WARNING: Keep the filters of every solenoid valve clean.

3.7.1.2 – 12V/24V electrical system

The autoclave is always live regardless of the sanitary system used. The "before use" button opens
the solenoid valve, whilst the "after use" button starts a program that opens the solenoid valve,

3.7.2.1 – hydraulic system

The flushing cycle of the TECMA marine toilet uses external water via a sea cock. Diagrams in

When the flushing cycle is started, the control panel starts an inlet pump, which pushes the water
by means of a specific system.

WARNING: The inlet pump is not used as a check valve. This way, water can flow even when
the inlet pump is not running

WARNING: If the toilet is below the floating line, install a vent valve on the inlet and
flushing system. Consider the heeling in case of sailing boats.

The ''before use'' button starts the pump, whilst the ''after use'' pump starts a program, which
activates the pump before starting the toilet motor and then activates the pump again for the final
rinse.

4.0 Troubleshooting

4.1 Toilet is noisy

The pump may be partially blocked if a solid object or paper other than toilet paper has been
flushed. Flush repeatedly. If the problem persists, open and inspect the macerator pump. Contact a
TECMA service centre, which will provide qualified assistance. Check the position of the sleeves if
the water flow generates excessive noise, especially at the end of flushing.

4.2 Water is added but the pump fails to flush

There might be a problem with the motor or control panel. Use a tester to check whether the panel
provides current to the motor or not.

If both the panel and motor run correctly, make sure that the sleeves are mounted correctly and
are not obstructed.

4.3 The pump flushes but water is not added

There might be a problem with the solenoid valve/inlet pump or control unit. Use a tester to check
whether the control panel provides current or not. Make sure that the operating pressure of the
system is within the parameters indicated in section 7.0.

4.4 The pump flushes slowly

Partial obstruction of the rubber sleeves may affect pump performance.

4.5 There is water left in the toilet

The check valves require a water column measuring at least 20 cm to obtain a good closing
pressure. Make sure that the system is equipped with vent valves. Make sure that the solenoid
valve closes properly. This is normal when you use an All-in-One control panel with one button.
This is normal when you use a premium control panel in mooring mode.

4.6 The control panel LED is always red

Make sure that the sensor is installed and wired properly.

In case are used TECMA pneumatic sensors, if ventilation of the blackwater tank is not sized
properly, the pressure inside the tank will increase triggering the sensor at every flush.

If the LED remains on after having removed the grey/black connector, which connects the sensor to
the control unit, there might be a problem with the control panel.

4.7 Gurgling

Make sure that the system is equipped with specific vent valves.

4.8 Leaks

Remove the toilet for an accurate inspection. Make sure that there are no cracks on the ceramic,
detect the presence of leaks in the system connections, and replace the part that leaks.

4.9 Unpleasant odours

Make sure that the unpleasant odour is actually coming from the toilet. Often, showers, bidets, and
sinks have siphons that dry quickly causing unpleasant odours.

If the unpleasant odour comes from the toilet, make sure that the system is equipped with vent
valves.

5.1 Is it possible to connect several toilets to the same line?

Yes. In this case use “Y” connections instead of “T” connections. Always use vent valves.

5.2 What kind of maintenance is required?

TECMA products do not need special maintenance or winterisation. We recommend cleaning the
tanks and pipes with Thetford Tank Freshener.

5.3 Is it possible to use acid or aggressive products?

Plastic components of the TECMA toilet have been tested with several marketed cleaning
products. Avoid using products such as vinegar, acetone, trichlorethylene. Avoid using solvents so
as not to affect the rubber components. Moreover, avoid using gel and foams in order not to
obstruct the vent valves. Do not dispose of harmful substances into the sea.

5.4 What kind of tube must be used?

The TECMA macerator pump uses any type of pipes (armovin, PVC, safeodor) to discharge. We
always recommend using a DN 40 pipe.

5.5 Which spare parts should I keep on board?

Besides a control panel, a motor, and the solenoid valve, we recommend keeping a sleeve kit to
completely regenerate the toilet.

1.0 TECMA-SANITÄRANLAGEN

Die TECMA-Sanitäranlagen für die Schifffahrt sind Made in Italy. Ihre Produktion erfolgt in Civita Castellana,
wo die Produktion von Sanitäranlagen aus Keramik dank ihrer hervorragenden Qualität berühmt ist.

Im Laufe der Zeit hat die Forschungs- und Entwicklungsabteilung von TECMA eine Produktpalette
mit unterschiedlichen Formen und Abmessungen entwickelt. Dank dieser großen Produktauswahl
können die TECMA-Sanitäranlagen überall dort installiert werden, wo dem Design
Einschränkungen in Bezug auf Platzverhältnisse, Stil und Gewicht auferlegt werden.

Viele Modelle sind mit integriertem Bidet oder separatem Bidet mit der gleichen Form erhältlich.

Der Spülzyklus der TECMA-Sanitäranlagen sieht den Kombibetrieb einer Zerkleinerungspumpe für
den Schmutzwasserablass und einer Einlasspumpe bzw. eines Magnetventils für die
Frischwasserzufuhr vor.

Alle Keramiktoiletten verfügen über eine eingebaute Zerkleinerungspumpe, die das
Schmutzwasser in die entsprechenden Sammeltanks ableitet. Die Zerkleinerung erfolgt in einem
speziellen, vor dem Pumpenrad positionierten Hohlraum, der mit Stahlmessern versehen ist.

Der Spülzyklus wird über die verschiedenen Bedientafelmodelle aktiviert. Je nach
Bedientafelmodell stehen Optionen wie Überwachung des Schmutzwassertanks, Regulierung des
während des Spülzyklus verwendeten Wassers, etc. zur Verfügung.

Dieses Produkt zeichnet sich durch seine Pumpenleistung, die hohe Zuverlässigkeit und einen
extrem einfachen Mechanismus aus. Ein weitverzweigtes Kundendienstnetz stellt sicher, dass
immer ein Techniker entweder für einen Einsatz vor Ort oder für die Beschaffung von Ersatzteilen
bereit steht.

1.2 Reinigung

Keramik ist besonders gut für Sanitäranlagen geeignet, da sie äußerst hygienisch und gegen sämtliche
Reinigungsprodukte resistent ist. Benutzen Sie keine Produkte auf Basis von Aceton oder
Trichloräthylen bzw. ganz allgemein keine Produkte, die Beschädigungen der Gummikomponenten
des Systems Pumpe/Zerkleinerungsvorrichtung/Rückschlagventile verursachen können. Die
Verwendung von Thetford-Produkten wird empfohlen, da diese speziell für diese Systeme getestet
wurden. Verwenden Sie auf Produkten aus Kohlenstoff oder auf personalisierten Produkten, die weder
weiß noch pergamonfarben sind, niemals scheuernde Schwämme oder aggressive Produkte,
außerdem wird empfohlen, das Produkt immer zuerst auf der Rückseite zu testen.

ACHTUNG: Bei der Wahl der Reinigungsmittel müssen die geltenden Vorschriften und

Bestimmungen zum Umweltschutz beachtet werden.

1.3 Vorbereitung für den Winter

Alle Anlagen vollständig entleeren, so dass keine Flüssigkeiten in den Rohrleitungen vorhanden
sind, die einfrieren könnten, oder ein geeignetes Frostschutzmittel verwenden. Von der
Verwendung von Frostschutzmitteln für Kraftfahrzeuge oder Produkte für Scheibenwischanlagen
wird abgeraten. Bei der Wahl der Produkte müssen die geltenden Vorschriften und Bestimmungen
zum Umweltschutz beachtet werden.

1.4 Toilettendeckel

Für die Produktreihen Flexi und Design stehen verschiedene Konfigurationen des Toilettendeckels
zur Verfügung. Und zwar Thermodur mit oder ohne Absenkautomatik (Soft Closing) und Polyester
mit oder ohne Absenkautomatik (Soft Closing). In der Konfiguration mit Absenkautomatik wird
empfohlen, das Schließen nicht von Hand herbeizuführen und zu beschleunigen, da dadurch der
Mechanismus beschädigt wird.

1.5 Wahl des Toilettenpapiers

Verwenden Sie ausschließlich Toilettenpapier. Das System wurde für die wirksame Entsorgung von
Toilettenpapier entwickelt. Benutzen Sie keine Papiertücher oder andere Papierarten. TECMA
empfiehlt die Verwendung von Thetford Aqua-Soft.

WARNUNG: Stellen Sie sicher, dass Sie alle im vorliegenden Dokument enthaltenen

2.5 Bedientafeln mit "SMART FLUSH" Technologie

2.5.1 Premium

Vor Benutzung der Toilette die Taste "BEFORE USE" drücken. Dadurch wird die Toilette mit einer
geringen Wassermenge gefüllt. Nach Benutzung der Toilette die Taste "AFTER USE" drücken,
wodurch automatisch ein Spülzyklus gestartet wird. Am Ende des Zyklus bleibt die Toilette leer,
wenn sie sich im "Navigationsmodus" (marine mode) befindet. Befindet sie sich hingegen im
"Hafenmodus" (residential mode), so bleibt eine geringe Wassermenge in der Toilette zurück.

Um vom Navigationsmodus auf den Hafenmodus umzuschalten, die beiden Tasten gleichzeitig gedrückt
halten, bis die Kontrollleuchte "LOCK OUT" zu blinken beginnt. Dadurch wird der Modus geändert.

Diese Bedientafel ist mit einer dreifarbigen Kontrollleuchte zur Standanzeige im
Schmutzwassertank ausgestattet.

Siehe Abs. 3.5.

Wenn der Sensor den Höchststand im Tank erfasst, deaktiviert er die Funktionen der Bedientafel

und verhindert dadurch eine weitere Verwendung der Sanitäranlage.

Soll aus irgendeinem Grund diese Sperrung manuell aufgehoben und die Bedientafel erneut
aktiviert werden, müssen die beiden Tasten zweimal gleichzeitig gedrückt werden, die
Kontrollleuchte "LOCK OUT" leuchtet auf, um anzuzeigen, dass sich die Steuereinheit im
"Sperrmodus" (lock out) befindet.

Tecnology) siehe Abs. 2.5.3.1.

2.5.2 Premium Touch

Um vom Hafenmodus auf den Navigationsmodus umzuschalten, die beiden Tasten gleichzeitig
gedrückt halten, bis die Kontrollleuchte "LOCK OUT" zu blinken beginnt. Dadurch wird der Modus
geändert.

Diese Bedientafel ist mit einer dreifarbigen Kontrollleuchte zur Standanzeige im
chmutzwassertank ausgestattet.

aktiviert werden, müssen die beiden Tasten zweimal gleichzeitig gedrückt werden, die
Kontrollleuchte "LOCK OUT" leuchtet auf, um anzuzeigen, dass sich die Bedientafel im
"Sperrmodus" (lock out) befindet.

2.5.3 Programmierung der "SMART FLUSH" Funktionen

2.5.3.1 Navigationsmodus oder Hafenmodus

Wenn Sie vorhaben, häufig zu segeln, das System auf den Navigationsmodus einstellen. Die
Toilette bleibt nach der Verwendung leer, es wird nur eine geringe Wassermenge nachgefüllt, um
eine Wassersperre zu bilden. Dadurch wird verhindert, dass während der Navigation durch die
Bewegungen des Bootes unbeabsichtigt Wasser austritt.

Wenn Sie vorhaben, für längere Zeit im Hafen zu bleiben, das System auf den Hafenmodus
einstellen. Nach der Benutzung bleibt eine geringe Wassermenge in der Toilette zurück,
dadurch muss für die Spülung nur eine Taste verwendet werden.

Änderung des Spülmodus - vom Navigationsmodus zum Hafenmodus (Abb. 1)

Standardmäßig ist das System auf den Navigationsmodus eingestellt. Übergang vom
Navigationsmodus auf den Hafenmodus

1) Gleichzeitig die Tasten BEFORE USE und AFTER USE drücken und ungefähr 3 Sekunden

lang gedrückt halten. Die LED beginnt zu blinken und zeigt an, dass der Programmiermodus
aufgerufen wurde.

2) Weiterhin drücken und beide Tasten mindestens 4 Sekunden lang gedrückt halten,

nachdem die LED zu blinken begonnen hat.

3) Beide Tasten loslassen, wenn die gewünschte Wassermenge erreicht wurde.

4) Nun wurde die Wassermenge eingestellt, die beim nächsten Mal verwendet wird, und das

System wurde auf den Navigationsmodus eingestellt.

HAFENMODUS: Eine geringe Wassermenge bleibt in der Toilette zurück

2.5.3.2 Deaktivierung für die Reinigung und Programmierung der

Hintergrundbeleuchtung

Für die Reinigung der Bedientafel Touch können die Tasten vorübergehend deaktiviert werden.

1. Mit der Hand 15 Sekunden lang (wie abgebildet) die Bedientafel berühren, bis die
Hintergrundbeleuchtung zu blinken beginnt.

2. Die Bedientafel kann mit einem Tuch gereinigt werden.

3. Nach 15 Sekunden werden die Tasten automatisch wieder aktiviert.

Für die Bedientafel Touch kann eine Hintergrundbeleuchtung programmiert werden.

Anleitung für den Übergang von einem Programm zu einem anderen:

ACHTUNG: Darauf achten, dass das maximale Fassungsvermögen des Tanks nicht
überschritten wird, wenn diese LED rot leuchtet, Sperrmodus.

ACHTUNG: Wenn die Toilette mit einem Seeventil verbunden ist, muss sichergestellt
werden, dass das Sicherheits-Kugelventil des Seeventils immer geschlossen ist, wenn das

Boot - auch nur für kurze Zeit - verlassen wird.

ACHTUNG: Für Toiletten, bei denen ein Süßwassersystem zum Einsatz kommt, das (wenn

auch nur vorübergehend) an das Wassernetz des Hafens angeschlossen ist, muss
sichergestellt werden, dass das Ventil am Verbindungspunkt mit dem Kai immer
geschlossen ist, wenn das Boot - auch nur für kurze Zeit - verlassen wird.

ACHTUNG: Niemals den Toilettendeckel mit Kraftaufwendung schließen, wenn Ihre

Toilette mit einer Absenkautomatik ausgestattet ist. Das System wurde für die
automatische Schließung entworfen, und eine äußere Kraft könnte den Mechanismus
unwiederbringlich beschädigen.

ACHTUNG: Wenn Ihre Toilette über eine Bidetfunktion verfügt, niemals das maximale

Fassungsvermögen der Toilette überschreiten, da kein Überlaufkanal vorgesehen ist. Für

die Entleerung der Toilette die Zerkleinerungspumpe (after use) verwenden.

ACHTUNG: Sollte es zu einer unbeabsichtigten Überfüllung (Bidet) kommen, muss eine
Entleerung mit der "Sicherheitsfunktion" vorgenommen werden. Sie wird durch

gleichzeitiges Drücken der Tasten "BEFORE USE" und "AFTER USE" aktiviert.

2.6 PRESTIGE

Die Modelle der Produktlinie Prestige - Prestige 45 und Prestige 50 - verfügen über eine einzelne
runde Taste, die direkt im Keramikkörper integriert ist, und zwar auf der Rückseite beim Modell
Prestige 45 bzw. auf der kleinen Säule auf der Rückseite beim Modell Prestige 50. Die Taste zur
manuellen Betätigung aktiviert einen kompletten Spülzyklus (wie im Hafenmodus), bei dem ein
geringe Menge Frischwasser in der Toilette zurückbleibt.

3.0 INSTALLATION UND WARTUNG

ACHTUNG: Stellen Sie sicher, dass Sie alle im vorliegenden Dokument enthaltenen

verwenden oder Eingriffe daran vornehmen. Sollten diese Warnungen nicht befolgt
werden, kann dies zu Verletzungen, Beschädigungen, dem eventuellen Verlust des Bootes
oder Stromschlägen führen.

Nehmen Sie keine Änderungen an dem TECMA-Produkt vor, denn dies könnte eventuell zum
Verlust des Bootes, Verletzungen oder Stromschlägen führen.

TECMA SRL übernimmt keine Haftung für Personen- oder Sachschäden, Verletzungen
oder Todesfälle, die auf unsachgemäße Installation, Bedienung oder Reparatur

zurückzuführen sind.

TECMA SRL empfiehlt, die Herstellung der Hydraulik- und der Elektroanlage von
zuverlässigem und erfahrenem Personal vornehmen zu lassen.

Die geltenden Normen in Bezug auf Anlagenbau müssen eingehalten werden.

- Für die Stromkreise immer korrekt bemessene Sicherungen verwenden.

- Vor Beginn von Wartungstätigkeiten muss immer sichergestellt werden, dass die

Elektroanlage spannungsfrei geschaltet wurde, und dass die Seeventile in OFF-Position
stehen und geschlossen sind.

- Wenn die Toilette mit einem Seeventil verbunden ist, muss sichergestellt werden, dass

das Sicherheits-Kugelventil des Seeventils immer geschlossen ist, wenn das Boot - auch
nur für kurze Zeit - verlassen wird.

- Für Toiletten, bei denen ein Süßwassersystem zum Einsatz kommt, das (wenn auch nur

vorübergehend) an das Wassernetz des Hafens angeschlossen ist, muss sichergestellt
werden, dass das Ventil am Verbindungspunkt mit dem Kai immer geschlossen ist, wenn
das Boot - auch nur für kurze Zeit - verlassen wird.

- Wenn die Toilette an ein Seeventil angeschlossen ist, müssen alle für die verschiedenen

Anbindungen verwendeten Leitungen für die Schifffahrt geeignet sein, und sämtliche
Anschlüsse müssen mit zwei (2) Schellen aus rostfreiem Stahl gesichert werden. Der
feste Sitz dieser Schellen muss regelmäßig kontrolliert werden, um eventuellen

- Wenn die Toilette an ein Seeventil angeschlossen ist, muss sichergestellt werden, dass

ein entsprechendes Sicherheitsventil vorhanden ist, und dass es korrekt installiert ist. Es
muss sich um für die Schifffahrt geeignete, über Hebel betätigte Kugelventile handeln.

- Wenn nach den ersten zwei oder drei Spülvorgängen kein Wasser in die Toilette fließt,

liegt ein Montageproblem oder eine Störung vor. Die Toilette nicht benutzen und den
Abschnitt "Fehlerbehebung" einsehen.

- Nur Metallwaren aus rostfreiem Stahl verwenden. Immer die mitgelieferten Gummiteile

zum Schutz der Keramik verwenden. Eine unsachgemäße Montage der Toilette könnte
im Lauf der Zeit zu unerwünschten Bewegungen der Keramik und daraus folgenden
Personen- oder Sachschäden führen.

- Die Toilette wurde nur für die Entsorgung organischer Abfälle und Toilettenpapier

entworfen. Niemals andere Materialien in die Toilette werfen (wie z. B. Papiertücher,
Feuchttücher, Präservative, Damenbinden, Zahnseide, etc.)

- Immer die mit der Toilette mitgelieferten Schraubenabdeckungen, Vorrichtungen zum

Schutz der Keramik und Verbinder verwenden.

- Bei Auftreten von Zweifeln wenden Sie sich bitte immer zuerst an Ihren TECMA-Händler.

ACHTUNG: Nur Toilettenpapier in die Toilette werfen.

3.1 Einbauort

Bevor der Einbau begonnen wird:

- Sicherstellen, dass sich der Schmutzwassertank in einer geeigneten Position befindet

und vom Einbauort der Toilette aus erreichbar ist.

- Sicherstellen, dass die Konfiguration der Toilette dem Typ der Hydraulik- und

Elektroanlage des Bootes entspricht.

- Sicherstellen, dass das gewählte Modell für den vorgesehenen Einbauort geeignet ist.

Dafür ist folgendes zu berücksichtigen:

 Abmessungen des Fußes
 Ungehindertes Öffnen des Toilettendeckels
 Es muss genügend Raum für die Durchführung aller Leitungen vorhanden sein, ohne

sie zu beschädigen oder zu knicken.

 Der für die Installation vorgesehene Fußboden muss ausreichend stabil sein, um das

Gewicht der Toilette und des Benutzers zu tragen. Dies auch während der
Navigation, wo diese Belastungen auf Grund der Stampf- und der
Schlingerbewegungen des Bootes noch höher sein könnten.

 Über der Toilette muss genügend Raum für die Installation eines

Entlüftungsventils vorhanden sein.

 Sollte die Toilette unter der Wasserlinie installiert werden, muss sichergestellt

werden, dass genügend Raum für die Installation eines Entlüftungsventils
vorhanden ist, das in entsprechender Höhe für die notwendige Einleitung bzw.
den Auslass sorgt.

 Für die Version SHORT muss

genügend Raum für die
Unterbringung des Motors, der
unterhalb der Toilette um 100 mm
vorsteht, vorhanden sein.

 Für das Modell SANINAUTICO

muss ein Raum von mindestens 3 cm
vorhanden sein, um ein ungehindertes Öffnen
des Deckels gewährleisten zu können.
Außerdem muss genügend Raum für die
Unterbringung der Muffen des Zerkleinerers
vorhanden sein.

 Für das Modell EVOLUTION müssen die

Bedingungen für die Installation der
vertikalen Befestigungsplatte (nicht im
Lieferumfang enthalten) bzw. für die
Gewährleistung einer für die vorgesehene
Last geeigneten Verankerung gegeben
sein. Für dieses System ist ein spezielles
Verankerungssystem des unteren
Gehäuses vorgesehen. Nach erfolgter
Installation des oberen Teils müssen nur die Haken auf der Rückseite des
Gehäuses mit den entsprechenden Sitzen in Übereinstimmung gebracht und
für ihre Befestigung der Nylonstift gedreht werden.

3.2 Magnetventil

Das Magnetventil Invensys kann sowohl in der Toilette integriert, direkt auf der Gummihalterung
(siehe diesbezügliche Seite) oder extern auf der Süßwasserzuleitung installiert werden.

Vor der Montage müssen sämtliche Verunreinigungen von den Leitungen entfernt werden (Löt­und Schweißrückstände, Metallspäne, Dichtungsmaterial).

Ein Filter im Inneren des Magnetventils dient zur Vorbeugung von Störungen durch verunreinigtes
Wasser. Es wird empfohlen, den Filter des Magnetventils immer sauber zu halten. Während des
Anschraubens nicht auf das Ventil einwirken.Während

Die Aufnahmeöffnung am Ventilausgang nicht verstopfen. Der gesamte Rohrleitungsquerschnitt
muss ohne Drosselstellen verfügbar sein. Den empfohlenen Druckbereich berücksichtigen (siehe
Abschnitt 7.0).

3.3 Einlasspumpe

Die Einlasspumpe an einem trockenen und belüfteten Ort installieren. Die Pumpe darf nicht unter
Wasser liegen oder Wasserspritzern ausgesetzt sein.

Im Versorgungskreis muss eine geeignete Sicherung vorgesehen werden.

Die Pumpe kann sowohl horizontal als auch vertikal installiert werden (bei vertikaler Installation

3.5 Tanksensoren

Es gibt zwei Arten von TECMA-Sensoren:

- Druckwächter

- Mirus cel

3.5.1 Druckwächter

Die Sensoren mit Druckwächter können mit sämtlichen Bedientafeln eingesetzt werden. Sie
müssen über das grau/schwarze Kabel mit der Steuereinheit verbunden werden. Sollten mehrere
Steuereinheiten an Bord vorhanden sein, so müssen zuerst alle Steuereinheiten miteinander
verkabelt und anschließend an den Sensor angeschlossen werden.

Bei Verwendung eines Sensors mit Druckwächter und einer Bedientafel Premium muss für jede
Toilette ein STA-Adapter (Single Toilet Adapter) installiert werden.

Alle Kabel des STA sind 16awg (1.55mm), Länge 25 cm

Die Spannung, der vom Sensor (A, B, C) stammenden Kabel sollte zwischen 6 und 24 Vdc betragen.

ACHTUNG: Für den einwandfreien Betrieb muss die Steuereinheit der Bedientafel Premium
immer an einen Niveaugeber für 4/4 oder an den STA (Kabel D+E) angeschlossen sein.

3.5.2 Mirus Cel

Die Mirus Zell Sensoren sind kompatibel nur mit Premium Bedientafel (Premium und Premium
Touch) und koennen direkt von außen auf dem Schwarzwassertank (max Dicke 10 mm) angebracht
werden, vorausgesetzt, sie sind aus Kunststoff.

Für die Installation, die Oberfläche auf der Tankoberseite, wo der Sensor montiert werden soll ­ungefähr auf der von links nach rechts führenden Mittellinie - mit Isopropylalkohol (nicht im
Lieferumfang enthalten) reinigen. Nachdem die Oberfläche sorgfältig gereinigt und getrocknet
wurde, den Sensor fest andrücken. (Anmerkung: Es ist egal, in welche Richtung die Drähte weisen ­die Ausrichtung des Sensors hat keinerlei Einfluss auf seine Funktion).

Falls verfügbar, denselben Vorgang für den optionalen halbvollen Tank Sensor vornehmen, die auf
einer Zwischenebene auf der gleichen Seite des Tanks montiert werden sollte.

Der Sensor für vollen Tank muss am höchsten Punkt des Fassungsvermögens des Tanks bzw. dort,
wo der Installateur die Angabe für den vollen Tank wünscht, angebracht werden.

Der Sensor verfügt über eine abnehmbare Abdeckung über der druckempfindlichen Klebefläche.

3.6 Erforderliches Werkzeug

- Elektrobohrer mit geeignetem Einsatz oder Schraubenzieher für die Edelstahl-Schellen

- Elektrobohrer oder Schraubenzieher zum Anziehen der Befestigungsschrauben

- Stichsäge zur Herstellung der Aussparungen für die Installation der Bedientafel

- Verstellbarer Schraubenschlüssel für den Anzug des Magnetventils

3.7 ANLAGE

Versorgung: Jedes Produkt verfügt auf der Rückseite über ein spezielles Etikett, auf dem die

Versorgungsspannung angeführt ist, an die folgendes anzuschließen ist: 12 V /24 V /110 V /230 V (für
die Schaltpläne siehe Kapitel 8)

Frischwasserzufuhr: Die TECMA-Sanitäranlagen für die Schifffahrt können sowohl mit Anlagen,
die Wasser aus einer zentralen Pumpe oder einem Autoklav (Zentralanlage) verwenden, als auch
mit Anlagen, die Wasser aus einer speziellen, an ein Seeventil angeschlossenen Einlasspumpe
(Einzelanlage) verwenden, benutzt werden.

ACHTUNG: Das Magnetventil Invensys darf NICHT mit Meereswasser VERWENDET werden.

Schmutzwasserauslass: Die TECMA-Sanitäranlagen für die Schifffahrt verfügen über
leistungsstarke Zerkleinerungspumpen, die das Schmutzwasser bis zu den vorgesehenen
Sammeltanks befördern.

ACHTUNG: Toiletten-Konfiguration A: Die Toilette ist unterhalb der Meereslinie installiert.

ACHTUNG: Bei der Planung und Herstellung der Schmutzwasseranlagen und den
Auslassvorgängen sind die geltenden Normen zu berücksichtigen.

3.7.1 ZENTRALISIERTE ANLAGE - SÜSSWASSER

3.7.1.1 - Hydraulikanlage

Für den Spülzyklus der TECMA-Toiletten für die Schifffahrt wird Süßwasser aus dem Tank verwendet.

Bei jeder Toilette kann das Magnetventil in die Toilettenschüssel eingebaut, direkt an den Einlauf/die
Düse über den mitgelieferten schwarzen Gummischlauch angeschlossen oder in der Süßwasseranlage
an Bord (die auch für Waschbecken, Duschen und andere Abnehmer verwendet wird) montiert werden.
Wenn die Toilette aktiviert wird, öffnet die Bedientafel - über die Steuereinheit - das Magnetventil, und
das Wasser wird über den Autoklav, der für die Druckversorgung der gesamten Hydraulikanlage an

Bord sorgt, zugeführt. Schema in Abschnitt 8.5.

ACHTUNG: Der empfohlene Betriebsdruck für das System beträgt 3 bar.

ACHTUNG: Die Filter aller Magnetventile müssen immer sauber gehalten werden.

ACHTUNG: Wenn das Magnetventil in die Toilettenschüssel eingebaut werden soll, müssen
3 cm des an die Düse angeschlossenen schwarzen Gummischlauchs abgeschnitten werden
(dafür die Gummihalterung entfernen).

3.7.1.2 – Elektroanlage 12V/24V

Schemen in den Abschnitten 8.6/8.8/8.9/8.11. Bei der Verkabelung jeder Steuereinheit werden
folgende Anschlüsse vorgenommen:

Unabhängig von der Anlage der Sanitäreinrichtungen steht der Autoklav immer unter Spannung.
Mit der Taste BEFORE USE wird das Magnetventil geöffnet, mit der Taste AFTER USE wird ein
Programm gestartet, welches das Magnetventil öffnet, die Pumpe aktiviert und schließlich erneut
das Magnetventil für die Spülung aktiviert.

3.7.1.3 – Elektroanlage 110V/230V

Die TECMA-Produkte mit 110V/230V-Motor sind mit einem Stecker für den Anschluss an die

ACHTUNG: Alle Elektroanlagen müssen von qualifiziertem Personal hergestellt werden. Bei

der Wahl des Kabelquerschnitts müssen Länge und Stromaufnahme berücksichtigt werden
(siehe Abschnitt 7.0). Es müssen die mit den TECMA-Sanitäranlagen mitgelieferten
Verbinder verwendet werden.

3.7.2 EINZEL- UND MEHRFACHANLAGE – SALZWASSER

3.7.2.1 – Hydraulikanlage

Für die Spülzyklen der TECMA-Toiletten für die Schifffahrt wird Wasser verwendet, das von außen
über ein Seeventil aufgenommen wird. Schemen in den Abschnitten 8.1/8.2.

Wenn ein Spülzyklus aktiviert wird, sorgt die Bedientafel für die Aktivierung einer speziellen
Einlasspumpe, die das Wasser über eine entsprechende Anlage befördert.

ACHTUNG: Die Einlasspumpe wirkt nicht als Rückschlagventil und gestattet somit den

Wasserdurchfluss, wenn sie nicht in Betrieb ist.

ACHTUNG: Wenn sich die Toilette unterhalb der Wasserlinie befindet, muss sowohl auf der
Einlass- als auch auf der Auslassanlage ein Belüftungsventil installiert werden. Bei

Segelbooten muss die Krängung berücksichtigt werden.

ACHTUNG: Für Modelle mit 110V-/230 Vac-Motoren ist keine Einlasspumpe erhältlich.

3.7.2.2 – Elektroanlage

Schemen in den Abschnitten 8.3/8.4. Bei der Verkabelung jeder Steuereinheit werden folgende
Anschlüsse vorgenommen:

gestartet, welches zuerst die Pumpe, anschließend den Toilettenmotor und schließlich erneut die
Pumpe für die Spülung aktiviert.

4.0 Fehlerbehebung

4.1 Toilette ist laut

Wenn Feststoffe oder Papier, das kein Toilettenpapier ist, in die Toilette geworfen wurden, so
könnte die Pumpe teilweise blockiert sein. Versuchen Sie, wiederholt zu spülen. Wenn das Problem
weiterhin besteht, muss die Zerkleinerungspumpe geöffnet und überprüft werden. Für eine
qualifizierte Hilfeleistung wenden Sie sich bitte an eine Kundendienststelle von TECMA. Wenn ein
starkes Wasserrauschen zu hören ist, vor allem am Ende der Spülung, muss die Position der Muffen
überprüft werden.

4.2 Es wird Wasser nachgefüllt, aber die Pumpe entleert nicht

Es könnte ein Problem mit dem Motor oder der Bedientafel vorliegen. Mit einem Prüfgerät
kontrollieren, ob der Motor von der Bedientafel mit Strom versorgt wird oder nicht.

Wenn sowohl der Motor als auch die Bedientafel einwandfrei funktionieren, muss kontrolliert
werden, ob die Muffen verstopft sind, und ob sie sachgemäß installiert wurden.

4.3 Die Pumpe entleert, aber es wird kein Wasser nachgefüllt

Es könnte ein Problem mit dem Magnetventil/der Einlasspupme bzw. der Steuereinheit vorliegen.
Mit einem Prüfgerät kontrollieren, ob die Bedientafel korrekt Strom abgibt. Sicherstellen, dass der

4.4 Die Pumpe entleert langsam

Die teilweise Verstopfung einiger Teile der Gummimuffen kann die Leistung der Pumpe
beeinträchtigen.

4.5 Wasser bleibt in der Toilette

Die Rückschlagventile benötigen eine Wassersäule von mindestens 20 cm, um einen korrekten
Schließdruck gewährleisten zu können. Sicherstellen, dass geeignete Entlüftungsventile an der
Anlage installiert wurden. Sicherstellen, dass das Magnetventil korrekt schließt. Bei den
Bedientafeln All in One mit einer Taste ist dies normal. Bei den Bedientafeln Premium ist dies im
Hafenmodus normal.

4.6 Die LED auf der Bedientafel leuchtet immer rot

Sicherstellen, dass der Sensor sachgemäß installiert und verkabelt wurde.

TECMA verwendet pneumatische Sensoren. Wenn die Belüftung des Schmutzwassertanks nicht
entsprechend bemessen wurde, steigt bei jedem Spülvorgang der Druck im Inneren des Tanks,
wodurch der Sensor ausgelöst wird.

Wenn die LED weiterhin leuchtet, nachdem der grau/schwarze Verbinder zwischen Sensor und
Steuereinheit getrennt wurde, so bedeutet dies, dass ein Problem an der Bedientafel vorliegt.

4.7 Wasserrauschen

Sicherstellen, dass die Anlage über die entsprechenden Belüftungsventile verfügt.

4.8 Leckagen

Die Toilette entfernen und eine sorgfältige Kontrolle vornehmen. Nachdem sichergestellt wurde,
dass die Keramik keine Beschädigungen aufweist, die Anschlüsse der Anlage auf Leckagen
überprüfen und die defekte Komponente austauschen.

4.9 Unangenehme Gerüche

Sicherstellen, dass die unangenehmen Gerüche tatsächlich von der Toilette verursacht werden.
Duschen, Bidets und Waschbecken verfügen häufig über Siphons, die rasch austrocknen und
unangenehme Gerüche verursachen.

Nachdem sichergestellt wurde, dass die unangenehmen Gerüche tatsächlich von der Toilette verursacht

5.0 Häufig gestellte Fragen

5.1 Können mehrere Toiletten an die gleiche Leitung angeschlossen werden.

Ja. In diesem Fall müssen Y-Verbindungen anstelle der T-Verbindungen verwendet werden. Es
müssen immer Belüftungsventile vorgesehen werden.

5.2 Welche Art von Wartung ist erforderlich?

Die Produkte von TECMA benötigen keine besondere Wartung oder Vorbereitung für den Winter.
Die Verwendung von Produkten wie zum Beispiel dem Thetford Tank Freshner für die Reinigung
der Tanks und Rohrleitungen wird empfohlen.

5.3 Dürfen säurehaltige oder aggressive Produkte für die Reinigung benutzt werden?

Die Kunststoffkomponenten des TECMA-Produkts wurden mit zahlreichen handelsüblichen
Reinigungsmitteln getestet. Die Verwendung von Produkten wie Essig, Aceton oder
Trichloräthylen vermeiden. Allgemein sollten keine Lösungsmittel verwendet werden, da sie die
Gummiteile angreifen und auch keine Gel- und Schaumreiniger, da sie das Belüftungsventil
verstopfen könnten. Es dürfen keine umweltschädlichen Stoffe ins Meer abgelassen werden.

5.4 Welcher Rohrtyp soll benutzt werden?

Die Zerkleinerungspumpe von TECMA funktioniert mit sämtlichen Rohrtypen (Armovir, PVC,
Safeodor…) Die Verwendung von DN 40 wird empfohlen.

5.5 Welche Ersatzteile sollten an Bord sein?

Gewöhnlich sind eine Bedientafel, ein Motor und ein Magnetventil ausreichend. Wenn auch ein
Satz Muffen vorhanden ist, kann die Toilette komplett instand gesetzt werden.

1.0 LES SANITAIRES TECMA

Les sanitaires nautiques Tecma sont produits en Italie. Ils sont produits dans la circonscription de
Civita Castellana où la production de sanitaires en céramique est renommée pour sa qualité
excellente.

Dans le temps, le département de recherche et développement des produits Tecma, a développé
une gamme de solutions avec des géométries et des encombrements diversifiés. Cette offre vaste

de solutions permet d’installer un sanitaire Tecma là où il y a des contraintes de design liées à
l’espace, au style et au poids.

Pour différents modèles, il est possible de demander la version avec le bidet intégré ou le bidet
séparé avec les mêmes géométries.

Le cycle de vidage des sanitaires Tecma prévoit le fonctionnement combiné d’une pompe

dilacératrice, pour la vidange des eaux usées et d’une pompe de remplissage ou d’une électrovanne
pour le chargement de l’eau propre.

Toutes les céramiques contiennent dans leur partie interne une pompe dilacératrice puissante qui
pousse les eaux usées dans les réservoirs de récupération spécifiques. Le broyage a lieu dans une
cavité spéciale fournie de lames en acier positionnée avant le rotor de la pompe.

Le cycle de vidage est actionné par différents modèles du tableau de commande. Selon le modèle
du tableau de commande utilisé, il y a des options comme le monitorage du réservoir des eaux
usées, le réglage de l’eau utilisée pendant le cycle de vidage, etc.

Ce produit se distingue pour la puissance de la pompe, la fiabilité élevée et l’extrême simplicité du

mécanisme. Le vaste réseau d’assistance garantit la présence d’un technicien prêt pour
l’intervention et la recherche des pièces de rechange.

d'enregistrement du bateau

conformes aux indications fournies dans les instructions, par manque de soin ou négligence
de l'utilisateur, ni les dommages accidentels, altérations ou modifications du produit.

1.2 Nettoyage

La céramique est particulièrement appropriée aux sanitaires car très hygiénique et résistante à tout
produit de nettoyage. Faire très attention à ne pas utiliser de produits à base d’acétone,
trichloréthylène ou, en général, tout produit qui puisse attaquer de manière irréversible l’intégrité
des composants en caoutchouc du système pompe/dilacérateur/clapets de non-retour. Il est
conseillé d’utiliser les produits Thetford car ils ont été testés de manière spécifique pour ce type de
systèmes. Sur les produits en carbone ou personnalisés en différentes couleurs du blanc ou

pergamon, éviter d’utiliser des éponges abrasives ou des produits trop agressifs, il faut toujours

faire un test sur la partie postérieure de la cuvette.

ATTENTION : Respecter les normes en vigueur et de protection de l’environnement dans le
choix et dans l’utilisation des produits de nettoyage.

1.3 Préparation pour l’hiver

Vider complètement toutes les installations pour ne pas avoir de problèmes de gel à l’intérieur des
tuyauteries ou bien utiliser un produit antigel approprié. Les produits antigel pour voitures ou les
produits utilisés pour les bacs du liquide nettoyage du pare-brise sont déconseillés. Respecter les
normes en vigueur et de protection de l’environnement dans le choix et dans l’utilisation des produits.

1.4 Couvre-WC

Sur la gamme Flexi et Design, différentes configurations de Couvre-WC sont possibles.
Respectivement Thermodurcissable, avec ou sans Fermeture Freinée » (Soft Closing) et Polyester,
avec ou sans « Fermeture Freinée ». Dans la configuration avec fermeture freinée, il est
recommandé de ne pas forcer en accélérant la course normale des charnières pour ne pas
endommager le fonctionnement.

Utiliser seulement du papier hygiénique. Le système est conçu pour disposer efficacement le papier
hygiénique. Ne pas utiliser de chiffon en papier ou d'autres types. La société Tecma recommande
l’utilisation de Thetford Aqua-Soft.

ATTENTION : S’assurer d’avoir lu et compris toutes les mises en garde reportées dans
ce document avant d’installer, utiliser ou intervenir sur le système. Si l'on ne tient pas

compte de ces mises en garde, il y a un risque de dysfonctionnement, accident,
dommages et éventuelle perte de l’embarcation, électrocution. N’effectuer aucun
changement au produit Tecma, ceci pourrait comporter une éventuelle perte de
l’embarcation, accident ou électrocution

2.0 FONCTIONNEMENT ET UTILISATION

2.1 Tableau de commande “All in One”

2.1.1 Un bouton

En actionnant le bouton « AFTER USE » après l'utilisation, un cycle de lavage automatique

démarrera, au terme duquel la cuvette sera remplie avec une petite quantité d’eau, prête à la

prochaine utilisation.

2.1.2 Deux boutons

Actionner le bouton « BEFORE USE » avant l’utilisation. Il remplira la cuvette avec une petite
quantité d’eau. Actionner le bouton « AFTER USE » après l’utilisation, un cycle de lavage
automatique démarrera au terme duquel la cuvette restera vide.

2.5 Tableaux de commande avec technologie « SMART FLUSH »

2.5.1 Premium

Actionner le bouton « BEFORE USE » avant l’utilisation. Il remplira la cuvette avec une petite
quantité d’eau. Actionner le bouton « AFTER USE » après l’utilisation, un cycle de lavage
automatique démarrera, au terme duquel la cuvette restera vide si on est en mode « navigation », il
restera une petite quantité d’eau si on est en mode « amarrage »

Pour passer du mode amarrage au mode marine, maintenir les deux boutons appuyés
simultanément, jusqu'à ce que le voyant « LOCK OUT » commence à clignoter. Cela vous fera
changer de mode.

Le tableau de commande est équipé d’un voyant à trois couleurs qui indique le niveau de
remplissage du réservoir des eaux usées. Référence paragr. 3.5.

Si le capteur du réservoir relève que le niveau maximum a été atteint, il désactivera les fonctions de

la télécommande, en empêchant ainsi d’utiliser ultérieurement le sanitaire.

Si pour tout motif, on voulait forcer ce blocage et réactiver la télécommande, appuyer deux fois sur
les deux touches en même temps, le voyant « LOCK OUT » s’allumera pour indiquer que la centrale
de contrôle est en mode lockout.
