Laptop Security Lock
FEATURES
•
The 6.5' galvanized steel security cable locks laptop computers and
external hard drives equipped with a lock slot.
•
The lock can be individually set to any 4-digit combination.
•
Vinyl coated cable protects your desk from scratches. Lock pivots to
provide best cable position no matter which side the lock slot is on.
Initial Combination Passcode Reset
• Make sure default passcode is set to 0000 (appears in window ).
• At the end of the lock head is a small recessed button , which will
release the passcode setting mechanism. Depress and hold (you can use
a ball-point pen) as you turn the tumblers to your desired 4-digit passcode.
• Release the button and your passcode will be set.

Securing Your Equipment
• Locate the security lock slot on your laptop or
external drive.
• Attach the cable to a secure object, such as a desk,
by feeding the cable through the hoop.
• Turn the tumblers to your passcode
• Depress the lock release button
and insert the lock head into the lock slot.
• Spin the tumblers to engage the locking mechanism.
