1. Important Safety instructions
People (including chi ldren) who are l imited in t heir ph ysical, se nsory, or m ental ca pacities s hould not use this device at any tim e. Furtherm ore do not h andle this instrument if you do not possess the necessary experienc e and know ledge to do s o. This de vice s hould onl y be hand led under the supervision of a qualified person and after a t hor o ugh intr od ucti on.
Do not leave childr en alone with the d evice, and supervise th em at all times to keep them from getting harmed.
WARNING: Do not cover! Otherwise this instrume nt will overheat.
Do not place the heater underneath a socket, drainage or the like.
To keep from getting burned, do not touch heater´s surface whenever it is turned on.
Please use the handle whenever you have to move the heater.
Do not put the cord underneath the carpet or a rug and make sure that it is not a tripping hazard.
Plug the heater into properly grounded sockets only.
Do not use the heater in any other way than des cribed in the user m anual. Any other way of us e
may lead to fire, electrocution, and may cause serious harm to the person.
Do not use this device near bathtubs, showers or swimming pools.
In case the connection cable is dam aged it has to be replaced by the m anufacturer or someone
commissioned by the manufacturer.
WARNING: Do not use a switching-oriented device, like a timekeeper, when operat ing this heater. This could cause a change in the thermal adjustment which is potentially hazardous!
To keep the device from overheating, do not put towels or clothing on top.
When using the heater, make sure it is in an upright position an d positioned on a even and dry
place.
Do not put any fore ign objects into the ven t. This m ay cause electr ocution, fir e or dam age to the heater.
Do not use an extension cord unless approved by an electrician.
This device is for private use only, do not use in any other way than intended by the
manufacturer.
Do not use the device near curtains, highly combustible, extremely explosive or malleable materials.
Keep a distance of a at least 1.0 m between combustible materials- like furniture, cushions, bedding, paper, clothing, curtains-and the heating device.
Do not use the device in rooms were petrol, paint or any other flammable liquids are stored.
Do not use the device outside.

2. 2 Operation
Connect the heating convector to the mains supply to set it into operation.
Switching the appliance on
Switch on the appliance by setting the tumbler switch to position „1“.
Switching the heating on
Switch on the heating by turning the temper atur e selector switch and choose the required temperature. The temperature range ex tends from 4°C to 40°C gra duated into 10 steps. The ther mostat switches off the heating as soon as t he preset ambient tem perature is reached, whic h will then be kept constan t by cyclic heating. The high consistency of the thermostat (below 2 K) provides a constantly comfortable temperature and thus ensures power-saving heating.
Anti-freezing protection
When setting the temperature selector switch to grade „1“ the thermostat automatically cuts in if the ambient temperature falls below 4°C.
Switching the appliance off
Switch off the appliance by setting the tumbler switch to position „0“.
3. Important notes
During operation the temperature at the front panel and at the hot-air outlet of t he convector may rise above 85 °C. Do not place an y objects on or beside the heater , do not put anything bet ween the heater and the wall. Free air exit must not be hindere d by covering th e hot-air outlets with any objects such as curtains, p ieces of laundr y etc., other wise risk of overheating. Combustible obj ects suc h as wood, paper, textiles etc. as well as highly flammable substanc es such as wax, petr ol, aerosols must not be placed near the heater within the hot-air current. Switch the heater off when carrying out work where highly flammable vapors could emerge, such as laying or sealing parquet or other kinds of floor covering or when using aerosols, floor wax, petrol etc.

Caution!
The appliance must not be installed in rooms with explosion hazard such as garages etc. Remove the protecti on f oi l f rom all panels prior to f irs t us e. S ho uld t h e h eat er g ive of f a bad smell when it is heated up for the firs t time this is c aused by m anufac turing-relate d residues , which are harmless to health. T his nuisance will disappear with in short time. The rising hot air can c ause staining on the wall, a phe nomenon seen in all other types of heaters too. T he appliance may only be opened by an authorized professional with the power supply disconnected.
4. Maintenance
To clean the appliance, switch it off and rub it with a moist cloth using a mild detergent if necessary. Finally polish with a dry cloth. Do not use any abrasive or caustic detergents for cleaning.
This Manual is very important and h as to be k ept at a saf e place at all times . Be sure to hand th is m anual to any other succeeding owner of the device.
5. Installation instructions
These installation instruc tions are an integral part of the ap pliance and must be kept in a saf e place by the user. Pass it o n to any subsequent user if the owner of the appliance changes. W all convectors are direct electric heater s that are ex clusivel y intended for being f ixed to m assive walls. T hanks to graduated heating capacities they can be adapted to any room size. The conv ect or c omes complete with connec t ing cable that must be connected to a wall socket. The appliance has been designed to be connected to 230V alternating current (AC).
Fixing
Fix the appliance in such way that any potentially c ombustible objects cannot cat ch fire. Therefore, the minimum safety distances mentioned below must be kept. Fix the heater to an upright wall that is resistant to a minimum temperature of 90°C.
Keep a distance of 25 cm to the floor. T here sha ll be a minim um s pace of 10 cm bet wee n the heater and any wooden parts or other objects. Any window sills, roof slopes, brackets etc . must be located at least 50 cm over the hot-air outlets of the heater. If the appliance is used in bathrooms, instal l it in such way that the tumbler s witch or the temperature selector cannot be touched b y a person being in the t ub or under the shower. When fixing the appliance to the wal l obser ve t he dimensions given in Fi g. 1 an d f ollow all other instructi ons f or inst all ati on. Dr i ll t wo ho les of 7mm and fix the ap propr i ate plu gs. Screw in the two 4 x 25 mm screws so th at a distance of 1 – 2 mm is kept between screw head and wall. Hang up the appliance on the suspensi on brac k ets which are fixed to the back of the heater a nd pus h it to the left until it stops. Then tighten the le f t -hand s c rew throug h the a ir exit grille and the provided hole in the bac k panel of the heater. Now the appliance is secured against unintended removal.
Caution Do not install the appliance below a wall socket. The appliance is not suitable for outside use.

Electrical installation
The appliance has been designed to be connected to 230V alternating current (AC). All electrical installation work, in particular protective m easures, must be carried out in com pliance with the national regulations and statutory provisions of the respective utilities provider.
The electrical installat ion may only b e carried out in compliance with the installation instructions by an authorized professional!
The appliance has been d esigned for fixed connection. Therefore, it is necessary to install a co nnector socket for fixed connection where the connecting cable of the appliance.

Permanent cables m ust not be connected direc tly to the appliance! If the electrical installation is don e by means of an isolating unit, it should be taken care that the isolation is designed with at least 3 mm separation on all poles.
Type of connection of the appliance: Type Y acc. to VDE 0700 Part 1.
In case the connecting cable is damaged, it may only be replaced by a repair shop appointed by the manufacturer!
The minimum distance between appliance and connector socket must be 10 cm. The connecting cable must not have contact with the appliance.
