1. Important Safety instrucons
People (including children) who are limited in their physical, sensory, or mental capacies should not use this device at any me. Furthermore do not handle this instrument if you do not possess the necessary experien­ce and knowledge to do so. This device should only be handled under the supervision of a qualied person and aer a thorough introducon.
Do not leave children alone with the device, and supervise them at all mes to keep them from geng harmed.
WARNING: Do not cover! Otherwise this instrument will overheat.
Do not place the heater underneath a socket, drainage or the like.
To keep from geng burned, do not touch heater´s surface whenever it
is turned on.
Please use the handle whenever you have to move the heater. Do not put the cord underneath the carpet or a rug and make sure that it is not a tripping hazard
Plug the heater into properly grounded sockets only.
Do not use the heater in any other way than described in the user ma-
nual. Any other way of use may lead to re, electrocuon, and may cause serious harm to the person.
Do not use this device near bathtubs, showers or swimming pools.
In case the connecon cable is damaged it has to be replaced by the ma-
nufacturer or someone commissioned by the manufacturer.
WARNING: Do not use a switching-oriented device, like a mekeeper, when operang this heater. This could cause a change in the thermal adjustment which is potenally hazardous!
To keep the device from overheang do not put towels or clothing on top.
When using the heater, make sure it is in an upright posion and posi-
oned on a even and dry place.
Do not put any foreign objects into the vent. This may cause electrocu­on, re or damage to the heater.
Do not use an extension cord unless approved by an electrician.
This device is for private use only, do not use in any other way than inten-
ded by the manufacturer.
Do not use the device near curtains, highly combusble, extremely explo­sive or malleable materials.
Keep a distance of a at least 1.0 m between combusble materials- like furniture, cushions, bedding, paper, clothing, curtains-and the heang device.

2.1 User Manuel for the CHM DSM model

3. User Manual CHM RF Model
3.1.1 Seng the Room Thermostat
Press the receiver buon for more than 3 seconds, unl the indicator light begins to ash. Subsequent­ly press the transmier key in the conguraon mode. (see User Manual Receiver) As soon as the indi­cator light stops ashing the two products are assigned.
3.1.2 Seng the sender
Press the receiver buon for at least 3 seconds unl the indicator light starts ashing. Two modes of operaon are possible.
Slow ashing: On\O switch Fast ashing: insgator
To switch the mode again, press the key briey. Take the transmier into the Conguraon mode (see user manual transmier). Check that the indicator light is no longer ashing.
Applicaon Example
The use of a room thermostat in combinaon with a opening detector is ideal, because the opening de­tector will detect if a window is open and will automacally switch to frost protecon. By pressing the receiver buon for approximately 10 seconds, you can change the relay´s seng. You know the seng is changed as soon as the signal light stops ashing.
3.1.3 Deleng Allocaons
To delete the seng simply press the receiver key for approximately 30 seconds unl you see the recei­ver light ash briey. All transmiers are now deleted.

WARNING
Do not install this device in areas that present an explosion hazard like a garage. Remove all protec­ve coverage before turning on the device. When using the device for the rst me you might detect a strong odor. This is no reason for concern; it is caused by residues of producon and will disappear shortly. The rising heat may cause stains on the ceiling, however this phenomena can be caused by any other heang device as well. Only a qualied electrician may open or remove the device from the power supply.
4. Maintenance
Before cleaning the device be sure to turn it o. To clean use a damp towel and a mild detergent.
5. Assembly instrucon
This Manual is very important and has to be kept at a safe place at all mes. Be sure to hand this manual to any other succeeding owner of the device. The device is an electrical heater that was designed and intended to be mounted to walls. The device comes with a power plug that has to be plugged into an outlet. The device is designed to be connected to 230V (nominal) alternang current (AC).

5.1 Castor / feet installaon
When installing the device, the safety distance must be strictly adhered to, so that ammable materials can not ignite.
Insert the rollers / feet into the ribs from below into the unit. Keep an even distance to maintain the balance of the equipment.
• Due to possible re hazard the safety distances are observed during assembly:
Side walls of the heater to any masonry: 5 cm Side walls of the heater to combusble materials: 10 cm Distance radiator to the oor: 8 cm arranged spaced upper radiator limit to about components or covers (. Eg window): ammable 15 cm nonammable 10 cm
To prevent inammable materials from catching re be sure to keep the prescribed safety distance when installing the device.
If you want to install the device in your bathroom, be sure to keep it out of reach for people taking a shower or a bath.
6. Installaon of Electricity
The device was developed for an electrical voltage of 230 V(nominal) and an alternang current of (AC) 50 Hz.
The electrical installaon may only be performed according to the user manual and only by a qualied Electrician.
The device was designed to be used with terminaon and the connecon cable has to be plugged into an appropriate socket at all mes. (Noce Permanent cables may not be used) The distance between the receptacle and the device hast to be at least 10cm. The connecon line may not touch the device at any me.
In case the connecon cable is damaged contact the manufacturer immediately!

From 01.01.2018, the EU conformity of these devices is additionally linked to the fulllment of the Ecodesign requirements 2015/1188. The installation and commissioning of the devices is only permitted in conjunction with external room temperature controllers that fulll the following functions:
Electronic room temperature control with weekday control
And has at least one of the following properties:
• Room temperature control with presence detection
• Room temperature control with “open window” function
• with remote control option
• with adaptive start control
• with heating time limitation
Technotherm meets the following requirements and thus the ErP Directive:
