Clock functions:
- DCF radio-controlled clock
- Temperature display
- 12 or 24 hours clock display
- Alarm function
- Snooze function
- Low battery indicator
- Backlight function
Battery installation
- Insert 2 fresh “AAA” alkaline batteries into the clock (batteries not included)
First operation
- After inserting batteries, it shows 0:00 ” and start to search for the radio-controlled signal for 10 minutes. (In optimal condition, the correct time can be searched within 3 to 5 minutes.)
- The tower and wave icon will keep scrolling while the clock is searching for the radio-controlled signal.
- When the wave icon remains un-change and appear on the display, it indicates successful reception of
the radio-controlled time signal.
- If the clock fails to receive the radio-controlled signal, it will search again at Automatic RC time update mode; or please use the manual setting.
Remark 1: Process a time zone selection to reflect a correct time display, please refer a “Clock manual
setting” procedure.
Remark 2: In 12 hours clock display mode, when PM is showing on the display, it is PM time display. When
the PM is not on the display, it is AM time display.
Automatic RC time update
- The clock will automatically update its time at every 1:00 AM
- If the time update fails, the clock will repeat the procedure 4 times in the next 4 hours (2:00 AM, 3:00AM,
4:00 AM, 5:00 AM). If the unit still cannot pick-up the radio-controlled signal, it will search again at 1:00 AM another day after.
Remark 3: It is recommended to put your radio-controlled clock near a window. TVs, computers,
microwaves or other sources of electrical power may interfere with the clocks ability to receive the radio-controlled signal. Please place the clock to another location if difficulty in signal reception is encountered.
Using of WAVE key
To start manual radio-controlled time update ~ press WAVE key once, it will start searching for the
radio-controlled signal.
To stop radio-controlled time update ~ press WAVE key once while the tower and wave icon is scrolling.

Setting sequence – Clock format selection > Time zone selection > Hour setting > Minute setting >

Year setting > Month setting > Date setting > Language selection
- Press MODE key for 3 seconds to 12 or 24 hour clock format selection mode, press “+” or -button to adjust the display format.
- Press MODE key again to time zone selection mode, press “+” or -button to adjust time zone hour clock difference between –12 to 12.
- Press MODE key again to hour set mode, press “+” or -button to adjust the hour display.
- Press MODE key again to minute set mode, press “+” or -button to adjust the minute display.
- Press MODE key again to year set mode, press “+” or -button to adjust the year display.
- Press MODE key again to month set mode, press “+” or -button to adjust the month display.
- Press MODE key again to date set mode, press “+” or -button to adjust the date display.
- Press MODE key again to language selection mode, press “+” or -button to adjust display language;

- Press MODE key once again to exit the set mode.
Alarm setting and operation Alarm setting
- Press AL SET key for 3 seconds and go to alarm hour set mode, press “+” or “-“ button to adjust hour.
- Press AL SET key again and go to alarm minute set mode, press “+” or button to adjust minute display.
- Press AL SET key once again to exit alarm set mode.
Turn on alarm function
Press AL SET key once until the alarm bell appears on the display, it will start beep at the pre-set alarm time.
Turn off alarm function
Press AL SET key once until the alarm bell disappears from the display.
Snooze function
During the alarm sound is beeping, press SNOOZE button once to get extra 5 minutes sleeping time.
Backlight function
Press SNOOZE button once and a backlight will light up for 5 seconds.
Celsius or Fahrenheit temperature display
The temperature display readings can be selected by the “-” button.
Low battery indicator
When the low battery indicator is showing, please replace the fresh alkaline batteries.
Troubleshooting
In some unusual occasions, the clock may be affected by electrical interference and respond abnormally. In such conditions, press the “RESET” button to resume normal operation and you can begin the set up procedure again.
