1. Do not attempt to operate this oven with the door open since open door operation can result in harmful exposure to microwave energy. It is important not to defeat or tamper with the safety interlocks.
2. Do not place any object between the oven front panel and the door or allow soil or cleaner residue to accumulate on sealing surfaces.
3. Do not operate the oven if it is damaged. It is particularly important that the oven door closed properly and that there is no damage to the oven.
a) Door (bent), b) Hinges and latches (broken or loosened), c) Door seals and sealing surfaces.
4. The oven should not be adjusted or repaired by anyone except properly qualified service personnel.

We recommend that you read the instructions in this owner’s manual carefully before use for the best performance
by qualified technician in compliance with the relevant regulations. This appliance is for household use. The
appliance is for cooking and heating food. The manufacturer declines all liability for other uses except for cooking food.

If a socket and plug connection is used, check that they are of the same type. Do not use reducers, adapters or junctions since they cause overheating or burns. the ac power supply must be 220-240V,50Hz,with a minimum 16A distribution line fuse, or a minimum 16A distribution circuit breaker.
3.SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
Please refer to the installation instructions for the safety regulations for electric or gas appliance and ventilation
functions. To ensure your safety, all electric appliance should only be installed and serviced by qualified staff, in
accorda
nce with the relevant regulations in law. After installation, carry out a quick test on the oven referring
to the instructions if the appliance fails to operate, disconnect it and contact the neares
t service centre.
IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS - READ CAREFULLY AND KEEP FOR FUTURE REFERENCE
When handling the appliance, we recommend you always use the handles recessed into the sides of the
oven to prevent personal injury or damage to the appliance.
To ensure your safety, all electrical appliances must be installed or serviced by qualified persons.
When the oven is not in use please make sure the oven door has been closed and the knobs are in the
OFF position.
Only use the appliance to cook food and nothing else.
To maintain the efficiency and safety of this appliance, we recommend that you do the following:
Always call the Technika service department if there are any faults with your appliance.
Always use original spare parts available from Technika.
This appliance is designed for non-commercial, household use and it must not be altered in any way.
This appliance can only be used safely when it is correctly connected to an efficient earthing system in
compliance with current electrical safety standards.
DO NOT use a steam cleaner to clean the appliance.
Packaging items such as plastic bags, polystyrene, nails, etc. are potentially dangerous, and therefore
appropriate measures must be taken to prevent children and the disabled from coming into contact with them.
Always
grip the oven door handle in the centre.
Disconnect the appliance from the electrical mains if it is not functioning properly and before cleaning
or performing maintenance. Allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
Use oven gloves to place cookware in the oven or when removing it.
Check that the appliance has not been damaged immediately after it has been unpacked.
Technika will not accept any liability as a result of any damage due to incorrect installation or improper use.
Install the appliance according to these installation instructions and any local requirements.
Once installed do not allow the supply cord to touch hot parts of the oven or come into contact with other
heated appliances
In order to avoid electric shock, do not immerse supply cord, plug or other parts into water.
In order to avoid fire or explosion, combustibles (curtains, cloth, wallpaper and others), packaging and
aerosols should be removed from the vicinity of the appliance.
Do not cover the drip tray or other parts with foil since it can result in overheating.
In order to avoid electric shock, never use a wire brush to clean the oven since pieces of metal can touch
live p
arts.
Turn off and unplug the oven when it is not going to be used for an extended period.

competent person;

that involves the removal of a cover which gives protection against exposure to microwave energy;

WARNING: Accessible parts may become hot during use. To avoid burns young children should be kept away.

only use utensils that are suitable for use in microwave ovens;
when heating food in plastic or paper containers, keep an eye on the oven due to the possibility of ignition;

microwave heating of beverages can result in delayed eruptive boiling, therefore care must be taken when handling
the container;
the contents of feeding bottles and baby food jars shall be stirred or shaken and the temperature checked before
consumption, in order to avoid burns;
eggs in their shell and whole hard-boiled eggs should not be heated in mi
crowave ovens since they may explode,
even after microwave heating has ended;
the oven should be cleaned regularly and any food deposits removed;
failure to maintain the oven in a clean condition could lead to deterioration of the surface that could adversely affect
the life of the appliance and possibly result in a hazardous situation;
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly quali
fied
persons in order to avoid a hazard.
This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical sensory or mental
capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning
use o
f the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
Warning: When the applia
nce is operated in the combination mode, children should only use the oven under adult
supervision due to the temperatures generated.
Do not use harsh abrasive cleaners or sharp metal scrapers to clean the oven door glass since they can scratch the
surface, which may result in shattering of the glass.
During use
the appliance becomes hot. Care should be taken to avoid touching heating elements inside the oven.
WARNING: Accessible parts may become hot when the grill is in use. Children should be kept away.

DO NOT operate the oven when empty.
DO NOT operate this appliance if it has a damaged cord or plug, if it is not working properly, or it has been
damaged or dropped.
Remove wire twist-ties from paper or plastic bags before placing in the oven.
Do not leave paper products, cooking utensils or food in the cavity when not in use.
Do not fry food in the oven. Hot oil can damage oven parts and utensils and even result in skin burns.
Pierce foods with heavy skins such as potatoes, whole squashes, apples and chestnuts before cooking.
Cooking utensils may become hot because of heat transferred from the heated food. Oven gloves or mitts may
be needed to handle the utensil.
WARNING: Only allow children to use the oven without supersvision when adequate instructions have been given
so that the child is able to use the oven in a safe way and understands the hazards of improper use.
Only use the temperature probe recommended for this oven.
