1- GENERAL
• The equipment must be installed, started-up and maintained by authorised and qualified personnel, in accordance with local rules
and professional standards.
1.1 - GENERAL CONDITIONS OF DELIVERY
• Generally speaking, the equipment is shipped at the risk and peril of the addressee.
• If the addressee should not any damage caused in transit, he should immediately notify the carrier in writing.
1.2 - VOLTAGE
• Prior to any operation, check that the voltage specified nameplate agrees with the supply voltage..
1.3 - USE OF EQUIPMENT
• Electric heating kit intended for assembly in TECHNIBEL air conditioners of the type indicated in this manual.
1.4 - PRESENTATION
• The heating kit is composed of:
- 1 heating element assembly equipped with a safety thermostat with automatic reset B5 and a manual reset B,
- 1 power supply contactor K5.
IMPORTANT
Before doing any work on the installation, make sure it is switched off and put out of bounds.
• Ensure that the electric wires are securely fastened to the terminals. Poor connection can generate heat and thus cause fires.
• Ensure that the electric wires are well insulated in relation to any sheet metal or other metal part that might damage them.
• The air conditioner must not be installed near inflammable materials.
• Refer to the appliance’s installation manual.
1.5 - PRECAUTIONS
SUMMARY
CAUTION:
If the manual reset safety thermostat is tripped, the device must be checked
by a technician.
Resetting this safety thermostat is done via the red push-button (accessible
after having switched off the device and dismantled the blowing grid).
