Before first use (charging)
Insert SD card into the MicroSD card slot with the
The TX-142 has an internal, rechargeable battery which must be
fully charged before use for the first time. It takes about 3 hours to
charge the battery full.
Please charge the binocular by using a common USB power
adapter* (DC 5V/1A) (*not included). After plugging in the USB
cable, the TX-142 powers On. For charging you can turn it Off.
While charging the charging indicator LED (6) left to the MiniUSB
port will turn RED. When the binocular is fully charged, the charging
indicator LED (6) will turn off.
First use
Using in classic mode (magnification 12x)
You can use the TX-142 like any other pair of binoculars. Place
your eyes correctly against the rubber, adjust the spacing of the 2
vision tubes and use the focus wheel (4) to focus. You can also turn
the diopter adjustment (14) on the right-side viewfinder at the level
of the rubber where you place your eyes.
Using in digital mode (photo and video)
In digital mode, the binoculars allow you to take photos or make
videos.
Note: Attention, if you are too close or too far from the target, the
quality of the photos or videos will not be optimal.
Stand at a distance between 96m (315ft) and 1000m (3280ft) from
the target. If you are within 96m (315ft) of the target, the framing
may be distorted: the photo or video will be slightly shifted
downwards.

2. Turn on the Binocular
Press and hold the Power button (5) until the display shows:
Welcome, the binoculars are ready to take photos or videos.
Important: Setting language and time! After turning on the
binocular for the first time you should change the language (default
is English) and time. You need to open the system settings by
pressing the menu button (2) two times. Now use the Down button
(10) to navigate to “Language”/”Date&Time” and press OK button
(11). Again, use the Up (9) and Down (10) button to navigate
through the languages/ set Date&Time. Confirm by pressing the OK
button (11). Exit by pressing the menu button (2) once or twice until
you return to the normal screen.
3. Select the mode
When the blue LED of the binocular is lit, press the Mode button (3)
to switch between: Video; Photo; Replay
- In video mode: Press the OK button (11) to start shooting. Press
again to stop filming.
- In photo mode: Press the OK button (11) to take a picture.
Press as many times as you want to take a photo.
- In replay mode use the UP (9) and Down (10) buttons to select
the file you want to watch and press the OK button (11) to play a
video on the screen.
Note: For best picture quality, hold the binoculars firmly or use a
tripod to stabilize during recording.
4. Turn off the Binocular
Press and hold the Power button (5) until the display shows: Good

Low light amplification (night vision)
This function of the TX-142 is no real night vision, because the
device has no infrared LED. Which makes a light source (at least
0.01 lux) necessary. The device uses the sensor and chipset to the

Normally the TX-142 adjusts the values automatically for low light
amplification. It is suggested to set the ISO setting to Auto for photo.
Connect to a computer
Compatible with: Windows 7, 8, 8.1, 10; MacOS up to 10.15; Linux
- Turn off the binoculars
- Connect the MiniUSB cable to the binoculars and connect the
other end of the USB cable to the USB socket of your computer.
-The binoculars will be recognized as mass storage, if a MicroSD
card is inserted to the binocular.
- Open the binocular main folder (mass storage).
- 2 subfolders are displayed: Pictures and Video
- Select the desired subfolder and double-click to open it.
- Then open each file you want to view.
Attention: To open a file, your computer must be equipped with a
software of reading photo / audio / video. Most computer are
already equipped with a standard software.
If the system shows the error message "SD Card Not Recognized",
remove the SD card and use an SD card reader* (*not included) to
connect directly to the computer.
Recharge the battery
Charging the binoculars by connecting them to a computer or
AC/DC adapter (5V/1A) via the supplied MiniUSB cable. After
plugging in the USB cable, the TX-142 powers On. For charging
you can turn it Off. When the battery is charging, the Red indicator
light is on. If Fully charged, the Red indicator goes off.
Important: When the battery is discharged, the indicator light
flashes once, then turns off automatically. Current files will be saved
before shutdown.
Note: To maximize the life of the built-in lithium ion battery it is
necessary to charge the Binocular completely for the first 5 times.

When the product stops responding due to misuse or other
unknown reasons and cannot be connected to a computer, please
reset it by pressing the “Reset” button (1). The product stops and
resets.
The recorded files on the MicroSD are not affected. Even the done
settings are not influenced.
