Mote Installation Instructions

Items required for setup

1. Petasense Vibration Mote

2. Cellular gateway / WiFi connection

3. CR 123A battery

4. Steel reinforced epoxy putty

5. Mobile Device (iPhone, iPad, etc.)

Using Petasense Mobile App

1. Download and install the Petasense app from the Apple Store (free).

2. Login to the Petasense App using your email and password.

3. After logging in, all the machines that have connected Motes will be displayed. To connect a
new Vibration Mote to WiFi, click the lightning bolt button on the top right corner.

4. You will be brought to a screen prompting an SSID/Password. After entering this information,
press “Send with Blinkup”, and the screen will turn black showing a countdown before blinkup
happens.
