Information about TechMaster
Using your keypad
To power up TechMaster press any key.
To slide the functions of a menu use the slide/change button . To exit from one function of a menu and go back to the main menu slide the functions
until the last one (“EXIT?”) and confirm with the confirm/enter button . Automatic power savings: LCD will power-off after 30 seconds of non-operation.
TechMaster opening and administration codes
Every user (Manager, Standard user or Override) can be a numerical code or a numerical code + Dallas key. Master code can be only a numerical code.
Default TechMaster codes
Default code for TechMaster are:

Penalty
Four consecutive invalid codes initiates four minutes delay period. During this period LCD will display the message “Penalty” when any operation will be performed.
Programming TechMaster
All the following programming instructions of TechMaster must be intended for only one lock (this also includes Master and Manager codes). If your TechMaster has more than one lock you must repeat the instructions for each installed lock.
Multiple Locks
TechMaster can manage up to five locks.
Time Delay
Can be set on each lock. Delay Period: 0 – 99 minutes; Open Period: 1 – 19 minutes. Five Time Delays can run at once.
Dallas keys
Can be set on each lock, requires code and key. Available for all Manager and Users (not available for the Master). TechMaster only works with Dallas keys coded by Tecnosicurezza.
Low Battery Warning
Long audio and visual signals during opening indicate low battery.
Emergency battery
If your TechMaster is powered by the mains or an internal battery box it is possible to connect an emergency battery to the keypad in case of sudden blackout: connect a new 9V ALKALINE battery to the battery connector located at the bottom of the keypad.
Silent Alarm Signal
Can be set on each lock.
Remote Disable
Can be set on each lock.

Audit
Each Lock will record last 900 operations with time & date, user and function.
Override Reopening
TechMaster can be set to have Override Reopening option (from 0 to 59 minutes). If this option is set, it will be possible to reopen the lock overriding Time Delay during the set value of time. This function is available only after a standard opening procedure of the lock (after opening with time delay).
Important notes
Simple/trivial codes, which could be easily guessed (1,2,3,4,5,6) have to be prevented.
Never remove lock cover, this voids the warranty.

Time Lock Standard week is an Opening Time Period: the safe door can be opened if you enter a valid code (for ex. Opening Period from 08:00 to 14:00: the door can be opened from 08:00 to 14:00, but can’t be opened at 16:00).
You can enter four different Time Periods for each day (for ex. MON from 07:00 to 10:00; from 12:00 to 13:00; from 15:00 to 16:00; from 18:00 to 19:00).
Time Periods will be saved just after confirmation pressing . It is recommended to set the values with safe door open.
All the Users will be automatically added to their related Time Lock table.

Special Events are Closing Periods: the safe’s door can’t be opened during these periods.
Up to 30 Special Events are available for a maximum of nine (9) days each.

To set a lower Time Delay value than the currently set on the lock, the lock must be opened. If the lock is closed it won’t accept the new entered values. Open the lock and then set new Time Delay values.

Use this function to add Variable Time Delay values.

Enter values for starting time and ending time in which Variable Time Delay will be active and then enter the values of Variable Time Delay.

To add Variable Time Delay values, the lock must be opened. If the lock is closed it will be not possible to access the function. Open the lock and then set Variable Time Delay values.
Variable Time Delay always have to be increased or decreased in steps of 10 minutes from the value of Time Delay (2.2.). If not, TechMaster will automatically adjust values to the next available ones.
After saving the settings LCD will display the message:

Personal data (like birthday) or other data which could be easily concluded with some knowledge about the end user have to be prevented. After changing the code, the lock has to be checked several times with open door.

Use this function to test TechMaster membrane.
Power up TechMaster and access the Configuration Menu. LCD will display the message:

Use this function to check TechMaster firmware version.

7. Opening the Locks
7.1. Users (or OVR Users): Opening the lock without Time Delay
Power up TechMaster and select the lock when two or more locks are installed.

8. Shortcuts
Use shortcuts to skip the procedure to get into a menu.
Power up TechMaster.
Press and hold the button corresponding to the menu you want to access to.
Available shortcuts are:
= Access to Change User Code function. Press to change Manager, OVR Manager
or Master code.
= Access to PIN Dynamic Codes function.
= Access to Membrane test function.
= Access to System Info function.
= Come back to main menu.
9. Optional features
9.1. Codes Expiry
TechMaster can be set to have automatic Codes’ Expiry (from 1 to 240 months) option.
If this option is set, LCD will display a warning message when a valid code is entered starting from one week before the expiry date.
CODE WILL EXPIRE IN
7 DAYS
When LCD will display this message change your code.
If your code is expired LCD will display the message:
CODE
EXPIRED
To change your code is the only function you will be allowed to do.
If your code is expired you will be not allowed to open the lock. Change your code before operating the lock again.
9.2. Override Reopening
TechMaster can be set to have Override Reopening option (from 0 to 59 minutes). If this option is set, it will be possible to reopen the lock overriding Time Delay during the set value

of time. This function is available only after a standard opening procedure of the lock (after opening with time delay).
Power up TechMaster.
