This soldering station is an ideal entry level soldering station
for hobbyists.
Heater: Mica, 150°C-480°C (48W)
Temp. Control: Rotary setting by knob
ATTENTION:
On first time use the soldering iron may produce smoke,
this is just grease used in manufacturing burning off.
It is normal and should only last for approx. 10 minutes.
It is not harmful to the product or user.
CARE OF THE TIP:
• Always keep tips coated with tin to ensure a long service life.
• Do not keep the iron at high temperature for a long time.
• Never clean the tip with coarse materials.
• Never cool it in water.
• Remove the tip and clean every twenty hours of use, or at least
once a week, and remove any loose build up in the barrel.
• Do not use fluxes containing chloride or acid.
Use only rosin or activated resin fluxes.
• Do not use any compound or anti-seize materials.
• Handle the heated soldering iron with extreme care, as the high
temperature of the iron can cause fires or painful burns.
• Never file the specially-plated tip.
MAINTENANCE:
• This tool must be placed on its stand when not in use.
• If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced
by the manufacturer or its service agent or a similarly qualified
person in order to avoid hazard.
OPERATION:
• Unpack the soldering station and check all parts.
Damaged parts must not be put into operation.
• Put the holding rack for the soldering iron sideways
in the soldering station, wet the cleaning sponge
in the sponge rack with water.
• Put the soldering iron in the holding rack
• Place the soldering station on a solid and dry surface.
• Connect the mains plug to a socket and turn on the soldering
station by using the power switch (I=ON/0=OFF).
When turned on, the power switch is lit.
• Always put the soldering iron on the holding rack when
it is heating up or during breaks from soldering.
• Make sure the workbench for soldering is clean.
• Only use solder for electronics. Acidic solder can damage
the soldering tip or the work piece.
• Regulate the desired temperature of the soldering iron
with the adjusting knob.
• The color-coded areas are equal to following temperatures:
Yellow >= 160°C
Light Orange 180°C to 350°C
Deep Orange 350°C to 450°C
Red <=550°C

• Lower the temperature during breaks, this saves energy
and extends the durability of the soldering tip.
• Wait for about 10 minutes until the soldering tip reaches
the setting temperature, test the temperature by touching
the soldering tip with solder. If the solder melts away easily,
you can start soldering.
• Tin the hot soldering tip with solder; wipe off excessive solder
on the wet cleaning sponge.
• Heat up the to-be-soldered part with the soldering tip
and add solder.
• Wait for the hot solder to cool down.
• Clean the soldering tip on the wet sponge after each soldering.
• After the soldering is done, put back the soldering iron
in the rack and turn off the soldering Station at the main switch.
• Do not file off the soldering tip, or it will be damaged.
• Never touch the hot soldering tip.
• Let the soldering iron cool down after use.
• The soldering iron should not be dunked into water.
• During breaks, the soldering iron has to be placed
in the holding rack.
TIP REPLACEMENT
Note: Tip replacement or cleaning should be done only when
the iron is at room temperature or below. The tip can be changed
or replaced simply by unscrewing the knurled nut barrel assembly.
The station must be switched off and allowed to cool before
and during this operation, as damage may result if the system
is left on without the tip inserted, after removing tip, remove
any oxide dust that may have formed in the tip retaining area
of the barrel. Be careful to avoid getting dust in your eyes.
Care should be taken not to over tighten as this would damage
the element.
GENERAL CLEANING
The outer case of the iron or station may be cleaned with a damp
cloth using small amounts of liquid detergent Never submerse
the unit in liquid or allow any liquid to enter the housing.
Never use solvent to clean the case.

The appliance is not a toy, and must be kept out of children’s reach.
• Before cleaning the appliance or changing the filter,
always unplug it. Unscrewing the housing is not permitted.
• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including
children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities,
or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been
given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance
by a person responsible for their safety.
• Children should be supervised to ensure that they
do not play with the appliance.
• If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced
by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified
persons in order to avoid a hazard.

Controllo della temperatura: regolazione rotatoria tramite
manopola.
ATTENZIONE:
Al primo utilizzo la stazione di stagnatura potrebbe produrre
del fumo, altro non è che il materiale lubrificante usato
in produzione che sta bruciando. Questo è normale e dovrebbe
durare approsimativamente solo per 10 minuti.
Non è pericoloso nè per il prodotto nè per l'utilizzatore.
MANUTENZIONE DELLA PUNTA:
• Mantenere sempre le punte coperte con della stagnola
per assicurarne una lunga durata.
• Non tenere il ferro ad elevate temperature per troppo tempo.
• Mai pulire la punta con materiali ruvidi.
• Mai raffreddare in acqua.

• Rimuovere la punta e pulirla ogni 20 ore di utilizzo
o almeno una volta alla settimana e rimuovere eventuali
accumuli che si siano depositati nello strumento.
• Non utilizzare liquidi che contengano cloruro o acidi. Usare
solamente colofonia/pece greca o resine adeguate allo scopo.
• Non utilizzare composti o materiali anti-grippaggio.
• Maneggiare la stazione di saldatura con la massima cautela
quando è calda perchè la temperatura elevata potrebbe causare
incendi o ustioni dolorose.
• Non limare mai la punta appositamente placcata.
MANUTENZIONE:
• Questo strumento deve rimanere posizionato nel suo supporto
quando non è in uso.
• Se il cavo elettrico è danneggiato deve essere sostituito
dal produttore o dal suo servizio di assistenza o da personale
qualificato, per evitare rischi.
FUNZIONAMENTO:
• Disimballare la stazione di saldatura e controllare tutti
i componenti. Se ci sono parti danneggiate non devono
essere messe in funzione.
• Posizionare lateralmente il supporto per il saldatore e inumidire
con acqua la spugna di pulizia che si trova nel suo apposito
contenitore.
• Inserire il ferro per la saldatura nel suo supporto.
• Posizionare la stazione di saldatura in una superficie
solida e asciutta.
• Connettere la spina principale a una presa e accendere
la stazione di saldatura utilizzando il pulsante di accensione
(I=ON/0=OFF). Quando acceso, l'interruttore di alimentazione
è illuminato.
• Posizionare sempre il saldatore nell'apposito supporto
mentre si sta riscaldando o durante le pause nel processo
di saldatura.
• Assicurarsi che il banco di lavoro per la saldatura sia pulito.
• Utilizzare solo lega per saldatura per l'elettronica.
Leghe per saldatura acide possono danneggiare la punta
o il pezzo su cui si sta lavorando.
• Regolare la temperatura desiderata per il saldatore
con l'apposita manopola.
• Le aree codificate dai colori equivalgono alle seguenti
temperature:
Giallo >= 160°C
Arancio chiaro 180°C to 350°C
Arancio scuro 350°C to 450°C
Rosso <=550°C
• Abbassare la temperatura durante le pause per risparmiare
energia ed estendere nel tempo la durata della punta
di saldatura.
• Aspettare circa 10 minuti fino a che la punta raggiunga
la temperatura settata, testare la temperatura toccando
con la punta la lega per saldatura.
Se questa si scioglie rapidamente è possibile iniziare a saldare.
• Coprire la punta di saldatura calda con la lega saldante;
rimuovere la lega per saldare in eccesso nella spugna pulita
e inumidita.
• Riscaldare la parte da saldare con la punta e aggiungere
lega saldante.
• Attendere che la lega per saldatura calda si raffreddi.
• Pulire la punta sladante nella spugna umida dopo ogni
operazione di saldatura.
• A saldatura ultimata riposizionare il saldatore nel suo supporto
e spegnere la stazione con il pulsante di accensione/spegnimento.
• Non limare la punta di saldatura altrimenti verrà danneggiata.
• Non toccare mai la punta per saldare quando è calda.
• Lasciar raffreddare la stazione dopo l'utilizzo.
• La stazione non deve essere immersa in acqua.
• Durante le pause la punta di saldatura deve essere posizionata
nell'aposito supporto.
SOSTITUZIONE DELLA PUNTA:
Nota: la sostituzione della punta deve essere eseguita solamente
quando lo stagnatore è a temperatura ambiente o più bassa.
La punta può essere sostituita semplicemente svitando il dado
zigrinato che la tiene fissata allo strumento. La stazione deve
essere spenta e raffreddata prima e durante questa operazione,
poichè possono risultare dei danneggiamenti se il sistema viene
lasciato acceso senza la punta inserita; dopo aver rimosso la punta
eliminare la polvere di ossido che può essersi formata nell'area
di ritenzione della punta nello strumento. Fare attenzione affinchè
la polvere non entri a contatto con gli occhi. Prestare attenzione
a non stringere eccessivamente perchè questo potrebbe
danneggiare il prodotto.
PULIZIA GENERALE
La stazione può essere pulita con un panno umido utilizzando
una piccola quantità di liquido detergente. Mai sommergere l'unità
in qualsiasi liquido e impedire che questo entri nell'alloggiamento.
Mai impiegare solventi per pulire la stazione.
AVVERTENZE:
• Lo strumento non è un giocattolo e va tenuto lontano
dalla portata dei bambini.
• Staccare dalla presa di corrente lo strumento prima di pulirlo
o sostituire il filtro. Non è consentito svitare l'alloggiamento.
• Questo prodotto non è previsto per l'utilizzo da parte di persone
(inclusi bambini) con ridotte capacità fisiche, sensoriali o mentali
o da persone senza esperienza e conoscenza, a meno che non vi
sia supervisione o vengano date istruzioni riguardo l'utilizzo dello
strumento da una persona responsabile per la loro sicurezza.
• I bambini devono essere sorvegliati per assicurarsi
che non giochino con la strumentazione.
• Se il cavo elettrico è danneggiato deve essere sostituito
dal produttore o dal suo servizio di assistenza o da personale
qualificato, per evitare rischi.
