1. Introduction
TL-4X2-HD is a 4 input, 2 output matrix switcher for HDMI. It reliably
distributes four HDMI source signal up to two HDMI displays. The HDCP
compliant matrix supports resolutions up to 4K@30Hz and 1080p@60Hz.
This matrix features two advanced technologies: automatic EDID
management, which provides Copy/Fixed EDID options for different
resolutions output, and HDCP management, which authenticates HDCP
encryption between all devices, ensuring the HDMI source reliably outputs
correct content for display.
It is ideal for applications, such as offices, schools, conferences rooms,
shopping malls, hotels or museums, which require the distribution of an
HDMI source signal to multiple displays.

source device then produces a signal with the optimum resolution that is compatible
with the output device.
The TL-4X2-HD Supports EDID copy priority function
$ When connected to one monitor, EDID of the monitor is copied directly to the
inputs
$ When connected to two monitors, the EDID form the first monitor connected will
be copied to the inputs. If HDMI OUT 1 is inserted first, the EDID of HDMI OUT 1
shall be copied; otherwise, the EDID of HDMI OUT 2 wil be copied
Note: If the unit is powered on and both outputs are connected, the EDID of HDMI OUT
2 wil be copied.
