Installation
Retooling of S-30D-Vario3 meter to radio
1 If present: break open the ring seal on the meter
casing and detach it. To do this, pass a screwdriver blade
into one of the openings of the ring seal and twist to one
side.
2 Remove the front cap from the meter casing.
The area of the meter casing where the Mod5 meter transmitter
makes contact must be clean and dry – especially in the area of
the ring seal. If necessary, clean this area with water and dry it. If
this is still not enough, the meter casing must be changed.
3 Apply the Mod5 meter transmitter to the meter and
allow it to click into place.
4 Lock the connection of the Mod5 meter transmitter to
the meter casing using a ring seal.
