Open the SecureClip as shown in the diagram.
Insert a coin into the allocated slot in the corner
of your case and twist to release the back cover.

The o-ring (seal) may become twisted during
installation. To ensure a watertight seal is
achieved, we recommend that you ‘pinch
and release’ the o-ring twice at each of the
four corners to straighten out any twists.

WATER TEST
Re-assemble the case ensuring front and back
snap together securely.
Fasten the SecureClip.
Visually inspect the main seal ensuring that
the O-ring (seal) is positioned correctly

Your Evo Xplorer is water tested before it leaves
our factory. However, to ensure nothing has
happened to it in transit, we suggest that you
carry out a water test before it’s rst use with an
iPhone 6/6s:

Submerge your Evo Xplorer face down in a
bowl of water for 30min. To keep your case
submerged, we suggest using a small weight.
Remove your case from the water, shake off any
excess water and towel dry (exterior only).
Open your case and check inside for any water
ingress. If water has entered your case, please
discontinue use and contact our customer
service team.

and clean your device using the supplied
cleaning cloth.
Make sure that the mute dial is in the position
illustrated opposite and your phone is not
switched to silent mode.

Insert your device into the front cover, base rst,
to ensure that the microphone and speakers
are engaged correctly and press your device
down rmly into the case. Rotate the mute dial
on your case to ensure that it engages correctly
with the mute switch on your device.
Close the back of the case by applying pressure
evenly, ensuring the front and back snap
together securely. Leave the SecureClip open.

Using your ngers, gently press the protective
screen lm down against the screen of your
device to remove any trapped air pockets
between the lm and your device’s screen; then
close the SecureClip.
Visually inspect the main seal ensuring that
the O-ring is positioned correctly and the
headphone screw is securely fastened
Your Evo Xplorer is now ready to use.

Note: We recommend that you follow the
manufacturer’s instructions to setup the Touch ID on
your device prior to installing your Evo Xplorer.

Remove the back of the case by following the
instructions shown on page 4.
Holding the front of the case, gently tap the
case against the palm of your hand allowing
the device to drop out. Do not push the device
out of the case by pressing on the protective
screen lm as this may damage the water tight
seal around it.
HEADPHONE ADAPTER
Unscrew the headphone jack cover.
Insert the adapter and screw it in securely.
Plug your headphone jack into the adapter.
A wrist strap has been supplied for added
security.

OPENING THE CASE
Water test your Evo Xplorer every 3 months,
and before any planned deep water exposure,
as per the instructions for the Water Test
detailed above.
If the case comes into contact with soap,
seawater or chlorine, rinse thoroughly with
fresh water. Do not use bleach, alcohol or
proprietary cleaners.
Before every use, inspect the seal and use a
damp cloth to wipe away any matter (e.g. sand
or grit) which could hamper the seal.
After any major impact, inspect for damage
and if concerned carry out a Water Test.
Avoid contact with sharp or abrasive objects.
We recommend that you remove your device
from your case on a weekly basis in order
to check for moisture build-up from the
environment. This is completely normal and not
a failure of your case.
Never open the Evo Xplorer in/ or under water.
In order to stop any water getting in when you
are opening it, rst shake off any water then dry
with a towel.

At tech21, the quality of our products is important
to us and we constantly challenge ourselves to
make the best products we can. The Evo Xplorer is
warranted for 1 full year from the date of purchase
against defects in materials and workmanship
provided the Evo Xplorer is used in accordance
with tech21’s instructions. Tech21, at its option
will (1) repair the Evo Xplorer at no charge (2)
exchange the Evo Xplorer for a replacement or (3)
refund the original purchase price. This warranty
does not affect statutory rights to which you
may be entitled. This warranty excludes damage
resulting from modications, unauthorized
repairs, accident, abuse or other causes that are
not defects in materials and workmanship. Proof
of Purchase as evidence the unit was purchased
from an authorised dealer within the warranty
period is required for warranty service. For further

be liable for any special, incidental, indirect,
punitive, or consequential damages for breach of
any warranty of any type on any tech21 product.
In addition to and without limiting the generality
of the foregoing disclaimers, the limited warranty
does not, under any circumstances, cover the
replacement or cost of any electronic device or
personal property inside or outside of the tech21

The tech21 Evo Xplorer for iPhone 6/6s has been
designed for use with an iPhone 6/6s only. Please
do not use it with any other device or personal
property.
Tech21 is not responsible for any damages to
any device or personal property arising through
the use of the Evo Xplorer. Tech21 shall not in
any way be liable to the purchaser or any third
party for any damages you or any third party may
suffer as a result of use, intended or unintended,
or misuse of this product in conjunction with any
device or accessory other than the appropriate
device for which this product is designed, the
iPhone 6/6s. Tech21 will not be responsible for
any damages you or any third party may suffer
as a result of misuse of this product as outlined
above. If you are responsible for product use with
an unintended device and damages result from
such use, you agree to indemnify tech21 for any
resulting injuries to any third parties.
Please read all instructions and warnings carefully
prior to using your Evo Xplorer. Improper use
may result in product damage for which you, the
purchaser, will be responsible.
• Do not store the Evo Xplorer in excessively low or
high-temperature conditions, including heat caused
by sunlight. Do not place the Evo Xplorer in a re or
other excessively hot environments. Avoid dramatic
changes in temperature or humidity.
• Do not attempt to disassemble, repair, re-purpose
or modify the Evo Xplorer in any way as you risk
damaging the product and such damage isn’t
covered by the limited warranty.
• If you, the purchaser, intend for the Evo Xplorer
to be used by a minor, you as the purchasing adult
agree to provide detailed instructions and warnings
to any minor prior to the Evo Xplorer being used.
Failure to do so is your sole responsibility as the
purchaser, and you agree to indemnify tech21 for
any unintended use or misuse by a minor.

Immergez votre Evo Xplorer, face vers le
bas, dans un bol d’eau pendant 30 min.
Pour maintenir votre étui sous l’eau, nous
recommandons l’utilisation d’un petit poids.
Sortez votre étui de l’eau, secouez tout
excès d’eau et séchez à l’aide d’une serviette
(extérieur uniquement).
Ouvrez votre étui et vériez l’intérieur pour toute
inltration d’eau. En cas d’inltration d’eau dans
votre étui, cessez l’utilisation et contactez notre
équipe du service à la clientèle.

INSTALLATION DE L’APPAREIL
1.2.Retirez la protection d’écran et/ou l’étui de
votre appareil, puis nettoyez celui-ci à l’aide du
chiffon fourni.
Assurez-vous que la molette silence est dans
la position illustrée ci-contre et que votre
téléphone n’est pas en mode silencieux.

Insérez votre appareil dans la face avant de
l’étui, la base en premier pour vous assurer
que le microphone et les haut-parleurs sont
bien en place, puis appuyez fermement pour
enclencher votre appareil dans l’étui. Tournez
la molette silence de votre étui pour vous
assurer qu’elle est bien en contact avec le
bouton silence de votre appareil.
Fermez l’arrière de l’étui en appliquant une
pression uniforme et en vous assurant que
l’avant et l’arrière s’enclenchent correctement.
Laissez le SecureClip ouvert.

Appuyez délicatement avec vos doigts sur
le lm protecteur an d’éliminer les poches
d’air piégées entre le lm et l’écran de votre
appareil ; fermez ensuite le SecureClip.
Inspectez visuellement le joint d’étanchéité

positionné et que la vis de la prise casque est
bien serrée

instructions en page 14.
En tenant l’avant de l’étui, tapez doucement
l’étui contre la paume de la main pour
permettre à l’appareil de se décrocher. Ne
poussez pas l’appareil pour le faire sortir
de l’étui en appuyant sur le lm protecteur
d’écran, car cela risque d’endommager le joint
étanche sur le pourtour de ce dernier.
Dévissez le couvercle de la prise casque.
Insérez l’adaptateur et vissez-le bien.
Branchez votre prise casque dans l’adaptateur.
Une dragonne est fournie pour plus de sécurité.
